Guest Reviews
- Warren (6/5): - The handicap room we stayed in needed a new mattress and the shower the water pressure was very high and it made showering hard. I am sure at one time it was a smoking room. The staff were very kind and helpful. It is an old Motel and the owners are trying to make more inviting. The outside was very nice.
- Peter (10/5): - The host was amazing. Super sweet and accomadating. The rooms were clean and he had coffee made in the morning. He has definitely changed the way i look at small town hotels ♥️
- Ashley (8/5): - Everything worked out great for us
- Cheyenne (10/5): - Amazing guy that runs this place and quite and a good nice resting place or small get away
- April (10/5): - Love the host he is awesome!! Very helpful and eager to make stay your best! Room was also clean and very modern.
- April (10/5): - Very eager to help in any way. Room was clean and bigger than I expected. Definitely would recommend if you need some r&r. I definitely will be a repeat customer. Thanks a bunch!
- Johnathan (6/5): - Owner was very nice, room only came with one towel and it had stains on it. No toilet paper. Had to go ask for a roll. As with everything, you get what you pay for.
- Andrew (2/5): Nice people, terrible hotel owners - The owners just haven't figured it out yet. Beds without bedspreads, keys that don't work, towels that looked unwashed. 0 stars.
- Lee (10/5): - I didnt like being on second floor due to 13 foot surgerys but the room was good.
- Luis (4/5): - PROs: Cheap, Huge Room, Super Helpful and Nice Front Desk Attendant
CONs: Room was Clean BUT Not Good...Sheets were gross and Bathroom had issues as well. Again not dirty just old and overuses in need of fresh paint and fixing. Area and people living there did not make place feel super safe.
- Doug (2/5): - Can't believe I asked for non smoking and gotta marijuana smoked up toom
- Stephanie (8/5): - Nitin was AWESOME!!
- Roger (4/5): Drove a little bit and get a better hotel - Room was clean, but bed was lumpy, sheets very worn. Pillows were flat and the room was spartan. The only reason I stayed was that the nearest "nice" hotel was 20 miles away. Definitely not worth the $84 per night.
- Arnold (2/5): - We got a refund, place was horrible. Should not even be open.
- betty (2/5): - The property should be shut down. They have bedbugs, dirty bedding,no tissue, holes in the walls, bugs on the walls, the man at the desk was in his underwear! Just nasty as hell and I should have been paid to be there
- Verified traveler (2/5): SUX - ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!
- Magda (10/5): Clean - Rooms are very clean. Friendly, helpful owner. I will stay there again.
- James (6/5): - It was ok. Not the best but not the worst either. One thing I can definitely say is the front desk clerk was very nice and very helpful for any of our needs.
- Jacqueline (8/5): - Close to Chief Ladiga Trail, hospitality was great, and enough space to park bikes.
- Verified traveler (4/5): A few positives. MANY negatives. - Overall: I would NEVER recommend this place.
Positives. The bed itself was comfortable. The shower had a strong spray and felt nice.
Negatives. The room smelled like pets had used it for their poopy time and it hadn’t been cleaned. There were stains on the carpet, sink, and bathtub.
The fitted sheet had holes and a “crust” which I am assuming was from “sex build up.” When I asked the desk about cleaning the room I was told that is not done unless requested. I had to be specific on what I wanted done. The housekeeper was nice. Especially after she opened the door to my standing totally nude body after just getting out of the shower. Personally that part didn’t bother me she and I had a big laugh about it later. I will end by saying if I had it to do over knowing what I know now, I would have stayed in Jacksonville or Centre at one of the chain motels or hotels.
- Candace (4/5): - Carpet stains, little to no lighting, stained sheets, thin pillows, cigarette burns on counters, etc
- Chris (4/5): - The room was run down.the sink had tape wrapped the sink and there was small holes in the tub. The staff was super friendly
- Regina (4/5): - Nice community
- Shirley (2/5): VERY VERY NASTY - Very, very, very nasty. Beds were dirty, had hair all over them, found a bug on bed. Shower did not work tub was very nasty. Walls were very nasty. Would never stay there again
- Brandy (8/5): - It was good very clean but they don’t give you good pillows or mini towels and washcloths
- Brandon (4/5): Not recommended - Unfortunately the photos can’t properly describe the scent of dog and cigars.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This is the most disgusting place I’ve ever seen. We stored our luggage till checkin and upon our return our bags had been gone through and stuff stolen. We told them we wanted to cancel our reservation. We made a police report and was told that this place is a hot bed of drugs and criminals and half way house. Police said rooms are full of drugs and prostitution. They told us not to stay there. So I hope we get a refund back.
- Stephen (10/5): Get the right room and you are golden! - I had read all the reviews and it worried me. But I was given the suite room 201. GET THIS ROOM. Super spacious, working oven, recliner chair, etc. No problems with bugs or flies. The fridge (full sized!) didnt work but I didnt need it. The people were nice. The living room area was great. It was clean enough but had that heavily lived in smell. I would stay there again for the price, as long as I could lock in room 201
- Ron (6/5): - Convenient since that town has hardly any lodging, hotel is old but ok, and linens did not match but they were clean. Needs some upgrades.
- Damien (6/5): - The room was clean and comfortable. Small business with good location for stores and restaurants.
- NeverAgain (2/5): - This is the only motel in town. That's about the only thing keeping them in business. 1 lightbulb worked out of 5 in the bathroom. Half a roll of toilet paper. No tissues. A giant hole in the shower floor. Broken shower head. Fridge not on. Holes in the beadspread. And beyond filthy walls and floors. Then there was the fighting neighbors who were at it until past 3 a.m. its a shame that a business owner would take advantage of paying customers. They should stick with their by the week rentals.
- traveler16872 (8/5): - Very convenient location if you’re needing to be in town. The exterior of the building is in good condition, but the rooms are dated and not as clean as one would hope. The lady at check in was very friendly.
- Kevin (8/5): Meh - It was what I expected
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Walls, carpeting and floors were disgusting. There were piles of debris in the corner of the tile floor in the bathroom. The walls look like they hadn’t been painted in years and there was writing on the wall. There were bug remains on the box spring, hopefully not a bed bug problem.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved my stay and was very peaceful front desk was very nice
- Jim (2/5): - I booked 4 rooms. None had tissues. The wash clothes and towels had to be 10 years old. Our shower had a 5 inch square cut in the bottom of the shower. Water all over floor after shower. Roaches on the bed when we woke up. No ice. no vending machine (refrig in office to buy snacks). different type light bulbs in bathroom but only 2 out of 4 work. That picture of the room you are showing is very misleading. Multiple holes in sheets. One set of sheets looked as if it was used as a drop cloth. Cigarette burns in non-smoking rooms. someone please call me at 804-337-7893. James Hall. I have pictures to back up everything.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - They had bugs. I was bitten 6 times. There were flies everywhere in the room. So many I finally gave killing them. There are ppl living there with their pit bulls and cat. It’s a dump.
- Floyd (6/5): Any port in a storm - The burn marks on the tub tell more stories then most country western songs
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Filthy carpet. Big gaping hole in floor of shower. I guess the water fell onto the ground below. Surrounding neighborhood is a slum. Overlooking a decrepit trailer park. Most rooms rented weekly. Thin walls. Neighbors made noise and played tv all night. Don't stay here.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was nasty I said a no smoking room bc my daughter has cystic fibrosis. They puy us in a non smoking room or so they say sign outside the door said no smoking. Room smelled like an ashtray burn marks in bathtub blankets loveseat and floor stuff was on walls like someone slung a drink or worse. On a positive note I did not see any bed bugs
- Rocky (8/5): - Manager did not have reservation on file. She saw email on my phone and gave me the same rate as quoted.
- Dave (4/5): - The room was spacious and it was a fairly comfortable stay.
The whole room was full of cigarette burns: carpet, bath tub, bath counter and most abhorrently the sheets had holes in them.
- Heather (10/5): Talladega Trip - Staff was so friendly and helpful!!
