• Richard (3/5): I would not recommend this apartment. - Johanna met us and handed over the keys. She was excellent and the best thing about Liiiving in Porto. The apartment did not live up to the photos. It was shabby and poorly maintained. One bath towel per person is not sufficient. They charge €2 per towel for more than one! There were no clothes pegs for the washing machine. This was rather worn and rusted. We had to request a dish cloth@towel for the kitchen. After complaints, they agreed to supply 2 extra bath towels when they changed the linen. These never arrived but at that stage we were too frustrated to complain further.
• Trini (6/5): El apartamiento no está mal pero no se ajusta a las fotos propuestas. - Ubicación buena. Las fotos de Booking.com no se corresponden con el estado actual. El apartamento presenta deterioro por el uso. Se puede entrar muy tarde, 15.30 horas , pedimos en varias ocasiones adelantar la entrada y la respuesta siempre fue según disponibilidad.

• Atilla Aytac (8/5): Kalınabilir.... - Merkeze yakın bir konumda cogu yere yürüyerek gidebilirsiniz, temizlik iyiydi kahve makinesi detayı iyiydi, yakındaki marketten kapsül kahve alıp yapabilirsiniz. Balkonu dar ama iki kişi için sorun olmaz 3. Kat cıkıs biraz yorucu ama zemin kattan olmasından daha kötü değil. Yemek yapmak için malzemeler var ama temel yag tuz seker baharat olabilir, banyo iade eder yenilenmesi lazım

• Olga (8/5): Good value for money - Fantastic view, my favorite location close to everything, comfy bed, iron, hair dryer and other things you might need on a trip. Fantastic and helpful staff. The floors and walls are so thin, that when the neighbour upstairs walks - it feels like they're walking inside your head. Note it's on the last floor with no elevator (but if you've been to Portugal before, you should be ready for this). The washing machine needs some upgrading, it's old and dirty and it's impossible to say how long it will take to wash.

• Deborah(koala) (9/5): Beautiful, cozy place-great balcony. - Location is great in an old apartment house in the middle of Porto, but not in the super busy by-the-river or nightclub area. There is alot of construction and we were warned about it, but once off the street, it was fine-I actually found the cranes zipping around interesting. The Balcony is great and the view is varied depending on the time of day-sun, rain, etc. We loved the open space. The bed is comfy and kitchen pretty well appointed (could use a dishcloth, salt and pepper) We were able to make breakfast and one dinner there. I like the layout and the big space. Supposedly, I was to have gotten an email with instructions to a Welcome center which I never did find, so we spent quite a while hanging around the address (in a nearby bar). I really appreciate that after calling, they sent out a member of the staff to open the door. The welcome center is about 1/2 hr away, so we really needed this. I know the area pretty well and knew how to get to the apt. on foot and did not count on an added hike or taxi ride. Just make sure you know what the expectation is. My other gripe is there is not much sound proofing between floors and the other vacation rental in the building was upstairs and we had a stomper up there. I swear they were on the go all the time they were home. maybe wearing heels, too. Just luck of the draw, but I would hesitate to rent it again because I can put up with lot, but not stomping. Really nice otherwise.

• Louise (8/5): Very good - The apartment was really lovely, and a lovely balcony too. It would be a little out from town I thought even though the add said it was right in the city but I am not 100% sure where the city starts. Overall I had a really nice stay. Great Facilities to cook etc. The only thing I didn't like is having to pay €10.00 for my 10KG luggage at reception and €3.00 for a small bag pack to hold onto as I had a late flight.
• Wes (7/5): Poor property management - Roomy We chose this property for the 3pm checkin and as per property policy in Booking.com - someone will meet you at property to provide keys. An error was made in arrival time by me which was immediately corrected and acknowledged by property managers confirming by email 330pm and to be met at property. We then received another email to say that no one would meet us and we should collect keys from office prior to 7pm. This involved a 2.8km round trip walking. on arrival to office, we asked if we could leave backpacks until 330pm but they wanted 5 euros per bag - if we didn’t want to pay, we were welcome to sit in office and wait for 3 hours. Wherever we have travelled we have been able to leave bags free of charge, even after checkout. Bathroom door jams on closing and when exiting makes a streaking noise right through the complex. This is not a new maintenance issue and should have been picked up by cleaners - not reported by a guest. Unit is aged, but acceptable. Lounge room sofa is horrible to sit on, no comfort watching TV. Pillows are lumpy and should be replaced. Washing machine is dirty and needs a good clean.
• Marcus (4/5): - Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen, in einem Studentenviertel mit vielen Ausgehmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Leider befand sich aber auch eine Großbaustelle in unmittelbarer Nähe. Vom Balkon und der Wohnung aus hatte man einen unverstellten Blick darauf ( diverse andere Baustellen, insgesamt 10 Baukräne), und durch den konstanten Lärm hat sich die Nutzung des beworbenen "secret balcony" erübrigt. Dieser Lärm war auch IN der Wohnung noch gut zu hören, und zwar jeden Tag ab 7:30 Uhr. Darauf hätte im Vorfeld hingewiesen werden müssen. Leider hat man auch an anderen Aspekten deutlich gemerkt, dass es hier um Gewinnoptimierung bei minimalem Einsatz geht. Der Zustand des Apartments ließ insgesamt zu wünschen übrig, und die Ausstattung war dürftig und von geringer Qualität. Z.B. hatte der Duschkopf Risse, so dass bei Duschen das Wasser am Griff in alle Richtungen heraus spritzte. Den hätte man schon vor längerer Zeit durch einen neuen für 10 € ersetzen können. An mehreren Stellen von Wand/Möbeln war Farbe abgesplittert und nicht renoviert worden. Der Toaster in der Küche ist unbrauchbar da er das Brot selbst auf niedriger Stufe verkohlt. Die Schiebetür zum Schlafbereich ließ sich nur halb schließen, somit war es nicht möglich, einen Rückzugsbereich zu schaffen. Ich würde keine Unterkunft mehr vom Anbieter "Liiiving" buchen.

It's the worst weekend Porto appartment I got for this price so far, definitely not worth it, there are better places in the area: the view is indeed nice, but you do not feel welcome when there is no tea/coffee even for the first morning,there is empty capsule coffee machine which is pretty useless (good luck buying the capsules on your first day of vacation) they charge extra 40euro(cash;only/no receipt) for a late check-in,but they informed about the extra charge only after booking with no refunds, other locations add this info in their description, it would be more honest if they did as well.The lady that let us in seemed nice, when we asked she promised to provide an iron and an ironing board next morning, however no one showed up during our stay, they sent us a message that the iron was in the apartment only after our check out which can be perceived as rather ironic, but obviously not very helpful for us during our stay. I will avoid booking at Liiiving in Porto next time,it really felt like a rip-off/tourist trap which is regrettable as with a little effort their offer could be improved (clear information about the price of late check in, some tea/coffee capsules and more honest communication instead of empty promises)
