- Catherine (9/5): A very enjoyable 2 night stay, definitely recommend - Comfy beds, lovely adjoined lounge , great breakfast, friendly and helpful hosts, easy parking, close to river and town Some road noise but didn’t really bother us and bathroom towels could have been a bit bigger
- John (10/5): Relaxing stay in perfect surroundings - I loved my room with a balcony & the stunning views. Perfect for relaxing. The rooms are tastefully decorated with lots of attention to detail. The host was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was delicious. It was a perfect location for us not too far from the Town & a very short walk from the Byes. Best of both worlds. Nothing

- Carol (8/5): Lovely B & B! - Good location a ten minute walk to the sea front. Parking at rear of the property and lovely hosts. Very comfortable bed and linen. Super breakfasts! We both kept banging our legs on the corner of the wooden bed frame, which catches you when you go around the bed to the shower room!
- Brian (9/5): Great traditional B&B and super friendly hosts - Great accommodation in Sidmouth and one of the best English Breakfasts we’ve had on this trip. It’s a beautiful old Victorian house but of course that also means that you can hear anyone walking above you.
- Penelope (9/5): -
- Carol (10/5): - Clean tidy, spacious onsuite room.
Coffee facilities.
Lovely, choice of breakfast.
Owners lovely, local advice given on restaurants etc.
- Phillip (10/5): -
- Keith (9/5): Truly relaxing, we were treated really well.ly - The breakfast was very good. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed having a view from the balcony. The location suited us really well as we could easily walk into the town and along the seafront. The weather might have been better , but it was better than expected otherwise all was good.
- Laraine (9/5): A perfect, cosy stopover on the South West Coast Path - A beautifully decorated, cosy house in a great location. The room was lovely, breakfast delicious and host very friendly. We didn’t want to leave! Nothing
- RAYMOND (9/5): Lovely comfortable stay with good breakfast - Character
- Mark (10/5): - Great location, very welcoming host.
Parking is a great plus!
Highly recommended.
Great pot of strong tea with breakfast which wins it for me.
- Lily (10/5): Lovely relaxing stay. - Lovely choice of breakfast freshly cooked. Comfortable room and hosts that were very welcoming. Loved having a car parking space too. Our room had a lovely little lounge area.
- Paul (9/5): Pleasant stay - Very nice room in a quiet location with a balcony. Really nice breakfast as well.
Charming host and good car parking. A little expensive for out of season, but comparative to other offerings.
- Vanessa (7/5): Comfortable but the room was a bit old fashioned - Good host, breakfast and location It needs upgrading, particularly the bathroom and shower
- Jonathan (7/5): Would have been perfect in warmer weather. - Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and staff helpful and considerate. Very cold in the bedroom, the en-suite was freezing. Took so long to warm up, even with little oil radiator on full power next to the bed, and an extra blanket found in the wardrobe. After 2 hours shivering, we wished we had just continued home instead, we did eventually warm up enough with socks on to fall asleep. The bathroom definitely needs a mat as the floor in there felt like ice.
- christine (7/5): Pleasant hosts and clean comfortable room. Easy to walk into Sidmouth. - Would have been nice to have a choice of croissants. Cooked breakfast good. Managed to park but a little limited.
- Richard (8/5): -
- Ellis (9/5): - We had a great stay. The owner was welcoming and friendly. Our room was really cosy and comfortable, just a short walk to the town centre. Breakfast delicious too!
- Dianne and Stuart (8/5): A very comfortable short stay in Sidmouth. - We were made to feel very welcome in this quirky Victorian house. Its location, strolling distance from the town centre and beach was very convenient. Although standing off the main road into Sidmouth the parking area at the rear of the property made parking safe. Breakfast was nice and hot and fresh. The bathroom could have benefitted from a radiator. Having said this, it is understandable that it would prove technically difficult to install one bearing in mind the age of the the property.
- Anna (9/5): -
- Neill (8/5): - Excellent breakfast. Good parking at the back of the house. Easy walk into town and the sea front via a park at the back of the property.
- Sarah (9/5): Great value for money, friendly and comfortable - Very comfortable, clean and cosy
- Karen (9/5): Great stay - Location property food Nothing
- Christine (9/5): We have visited Sidmouth many times and this was one of the best places we've stayed. - Lovely bright room, comfortable bed. Balcony off our room. Very good relaxing breakfast. Friendly host Martin and Dawn. As it's a beautiful Victorian property, it had a few creaking floorboards but very minor problem which we got used to.
- Tracy (10/5): Would not hesitate to return - Lovely guesthouse in great location for walking into sidmouth or onto the byes, welcoming hosts good knowledge of local area and restaurants to eat, room was warm and comfortable and a lovely breakfast in the morning. Parking a bonus. Nothing to dislike.
- Rosemarie (9/5): - Excellent position. Comfortable room with wonderful view. Quiet as at the back of the property.
- Rebecca (10/5): -
- Renate (10/5): Brilliant stay - The friendliness, brightness of the rooms, breakfast was superb. Very clean, service with a smile
- Michel (10/5): Prima verblijf ! Een aanrader ! - De vriendelijke en behulpzame ontvangst, de ruime kamer, het verzorgde ontbijt. Je voelt je er dadelijk thuis.
- John (10/5): -
- Andy (10/5): Definitely recommend home from home - Clean friendly good breakfast good location Good location,10 minutes stroll to seafront, very friendly clean
- Claudia (9/5): -
- Rebecca (9/5): - Great location, parking was good. Really friendly and comfortable stay
- Ian (4/5): Although we liked Sidmouth we will choose alternative accommodation next time - Good breakfast, convenient location, clean room. The room temperature was not consistent due to the heating coming on and off at different times of the day and evening. A small additional oil heater helped to adjust the room temperature.
The bathroom (room 3) was dated with a cramped shower arrangement (combination of curtain and half-height screen) and it was not possible to heat the damp towels, which we had to change rather than reuse. The toilet seat was too small, not covering the bowl.
We were woken up early each morning (6.30am) by someone moving around in the room above.
The room was advertised as having a balcony with a view of the rear garden, but we were disappointed to discover it overlooked the car park instead.
- Mark Robinsin (10/5): - Very friendly, food excellent, room very clean, perfect location. Would definitely recommend.
- Pat (10/5): A Relaxing Stay In Sidmouth - We were made to feel very welcomed. Lovely comfortable room with a balcony. Nothing was too much trouble. A fantastic breakfast. Really liked the location, not far from the centre. Excellent car parking. Nothing comes to mind.
- Vanessa (9/5): A perfect place to stay to visit Sidmouth - Location was very good - a short walk to the town and seafront.
The room had everything we could have wanted There wasn't anything that we didn't like

- Paul (10/5): well rested but with plenty to do and explore - location walking distance from town and beach, breakfast choice was plentiful room was well decorated and clean with accessories for comfort , cleanliness throughout the premises, car parking with easy access, friendly hosts.
- Bernard (9/5): Enjoyable, lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Hosts very good. - Room was comfortable. Lovely balcony. Shower. Definitely needs refurbishing.
- Jean (7/5): Good breakfast, comfy bed convenient location just a little too regimented. - One of the best cooked breakfast I've had. Nice big comfy bed, enjoyed the small lounge room attached to our bedroom. Good parking. Convenient location for the town, bus service, pub and walks in the park. Thin curtains let in too much light, especially with a street lamp just outside. We arrived 10 minutes early and felt the reception was a bit frosty, we did offer to go away and come back a bit later. Breakfast only available from 8.15 - 9 a.m seemed a short opening and required to book your breakfast choice the evening before. Did feel a bit regimented.
- William (10/5): Excellent - We were met in the private car park by the host on arrival and shown to our room. The room was very clean and had all the amenities you would expect. Breakfast was great and served quickly at the time requested. The Guesthouse is ideally situated and in walking distance of all the attractions in Sidmouth. We had a great visit. Thanks

Our room was spacious, clean & airy.
We will definitely be back! We have no complaints.
