Guest Reviews
- Kendra (3/5): Eh. So-so - The location Stained sheets and very dated. Would not have paid what I did if I had known ahead of time. Not what I expected from a Wyndham.
- unclemortem (2/5): Keep driving!!! - Can I rate less than one? My wife and I had been traveling for 13 hours on the road and just needed to crash. We were not familiar with the area and we THOUGHT Wyndham had standard, so we booked this while on the road. Worst mistake of traveling for 50 years. First don't be deceived by the pictures. Other than the structure itself it look NOTHING like this. Parking lot is all cracked and unpainted parking spots. The office that first we had to buzz in was dingy, unkept and not inviting. If it had been earlier in the day I would have left. I asked about any breakfast and was told it was coffee and a granola bar. More later. Got the key went to the room. The furniture was so old an antique dealer wouldn't take it. Room smelled musty. A sign said $400 to clean room if you smoke, Smoking would have been an improvement! Carpet crunched when you walked on it, my wife thought something was living under it. Lampshades had burn marks on them. The only way to plug in devices was with a white extension cord coming out from behind the bed. Fan in bath was so loud it sounded like it was drilling for oil downstairs. Toilet would not fill up without lifting the tank lid to assist. Towels were dingy and scratchy. I sat on the edge of the bed and there was not support and the sheets were also dingy. So, my wife was warm so I went to turn on the A/C. Sounded like a plane taking off but with a pulsating sound. Wife said "Oh, No! Shut it off. I can't sleep with that. OK, went to sleep. My wife got up to shower, stained bath mat (Won't tell you what it looked like), Tub shower small with nasty grout and of course the loud fan. Went to make coffee and the coffee maker was filthy. So decided to go down and get our coffee and granola bars. Office was locked no one would answer the buzzer at 7:30 in the morning. (I was not alone at the door. Other guests were there also.) We ended up going to the Love's Truck stop across the street for coffee.
The only way to make this poorly maintained property better is to tear it down.
Also the only food in the area is a pizza place that closes 9:00 and Love truck stop.
Believe it or not I'm being kind with this review.

- Cassandra (4/5): - decent spot to lay your head for a night. nobody was there to check us out. traveling from CA to VA, and desperately needed to get back on the road and nobody was at the front desk. stood there ringing the doorbell for a good 10-15 minutes
- Tammy (7/5): Pizza place next door was excellent - Next to highway and fuel station Pricey for a week night stay
- Timothy (5/5): The location is about the only thing I could say was good about the stay. - The parking was good. The bed was decent. The location is good and right next to the interstate and It's right across the street from a loves truck stop. They no longer have the breakfast instead they have a grab bag with a fruit cup, honey bun, orange juice, bottle water and a fruit and nut bar. The bathroom is small and cramped with a narrow entrance making it not that easy for handicapped. The lady that was working the front desk was not really that friendly or helpful plus you have to ring a buzzer for her to open the door just to get in. To be brutally honest if I was to be going back to Erick Oklahoma then I would actually stop and find a hotel in Shamrock Texas instead of staying there. Even the local realtors recommend staying in a hotel in Shamrock Texas instead of the days inn in Erick Oklahoma.

- 413briany (8/5): Nice stay - The owners were very pleasant and helpful. Room was dated, but clean and ready for guests. But he spoke of a total makeover that is scheduled this year. Excited to see the upgrades next year when we come.
- F6457BBwilliamg (8/5): For the price best experience ever - Room is very clean sheets were fresh, very good experience. Staff was helpful. It was very quiet and convenient just off the Expressway.

- Michael (10/5): - Convenient to I40
- Crystal (8/5): -
- E1989RKreginas (10/5): Nashville-Tennessee - We arrived at the Days Inn around 10:30 traveling all the way from Nashville, Tennessee. Kevin working in the front desk was really nice. Provided additional information for us and I am forever grateful for him.
- Gary (8/5): - Sewage smell from bathroom, only local channels on tv.
- lourdesgZ7568YN (10/5): Pleasant - The Front Office Were Wonderful. The room was comfy and quiet. The only problem was finding restaurants near by. I would stay again.
- Steven (6/5): - The facility is dated and in major need of a renovation. In all fairness, the owners appear to be making efforts to improve things. But there is a long way to go before it's going to be a decent place to stay.
- David (4/5): Basic motel in need of upgrades but for just an overstop on roadtrip served its purpose - Convenient location Floor felt dirty.
Tv remote was wrapped in a plastic bag.
Blow dryer didn’t work
- The Breeze (3/5): - Desk man SurRoger was nice I was told after remarking the AC was off and it was hot in the room that after turning the AC on it would take about 30 minutes for the room to cool. I sweated through all of my clothes and it took approximately 6 hours to finally cool be cause the temperature reached over 100. It was very uncomfortable.
- Patricia (2/5): - THEY HAVE BED BUGS !
- Cammie (5/5): - On booking.com it says breakfast included. It is not. Smell in room.
- Silvia (6/5): - It’s nothing like Wyndham! Pretty bad amenities
- Teri (10/5): - Our check in was late but the clerk was so helpful and nice.
- Fernando (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (6/5): - Not a bad place, but breakfast never happened and everything is just sort of cramped and odd? The light switch for the bathroom is outside the bathroom and forces on the loudest bathroom fan as well. As well theres a mat in the bathtub that immediately becomes a hazard once wet.
- TIMOTHY (10/5): - Not the best
- Ian (6/5): Basic motel - fine for an overnight stop - Stayed here for an overnight stop on Route 66 trip. Basic motel in a bit of a ghost town. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was 'grab & go' - not had this before but was better than expected. Basically a pre-prepared bag consisting of water, orange juice, fruit pot, pastry & fruit and nut bar. Overall good value for the price. Useable power sockets rather lacking.
- Dennis (4/5): - Had to be buzzed in to the lobby, I reserved the room Pryor to getting to motel. Still took a long time to check in. The room smelled bad , tv kept going off the bathroom sink faucet was falling apart shower was just a stream of water tub mat felt slippery and nd gross on my feet. In all was the worst motel I’ve stayed in for sometime
- Eugene (7/5): Too much money for what it is but only place around - Only place to stay around Toilet wasn’t working had to switch rooms it’s a $50 motel that you pay $100 for basically
- mikesX6616PR (10/5): Home away from home - It's a great place to stay every time I go through there Eric Oklahoma I always say that hotel clean and friendly and reminds me of an old church and it feels really safe and closing the beds are phenomenally relaxing and comfortable slept like a baby and slept very deep last night of sleep I've had in a long time
- Y7594PImartinag (10/5): Great personal Service - Excellent/ Clean/ helpful / Friendly/ to go breakfast / good price / walk-ins / pet friendly/ met ALL our needs 1 night during a long slow cross country trip w a Uhaul + trailer / checked in exhausted left refreshed ! And that’s all I can say about a 10 hour experience!
- Saubert (8/5): Would stay there again - Quiet, felt safe, comfortable, close to the road we came in on. Somewhat dated but not really an issue for us. Breakfast was a very disappointing brown bag.
- Peggy (2/5): - Run down
- lfZ8005DA (10/5): Great on the Road Hotel - The room I stayed in was very, very clean. When I entered I could smell citrus or orange blossoms. I'd asked what they used for cleaning. They steam clean their carpets every 3 months! Nice. Also, very well priced! nice & quaint is the location, brick face building.
While there wasn't a breakfast--they gave me a "to go" breakfast medium size brown bag, which I'd rather liked. which included: a water, juice, protein bar, tangerine & a sticky bun. What hotel has ever done that? Very friendly for on the road or local stays!
- Bryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jackie (8/5): Very good -
- Stephannie Beatrice (2/5): - Disgusting hotel. Not clean and has roaches
- Laurie (4/5): - The shower was clogged up. Room was kind of run down.
- Jess (2/5): - The pictures in the listing DO NOT match the actual hotel. When we walked into our room, it smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals, yet the place still felt unclean. The carpet was stained in several places and torn right by the door, the one soft chair in the room was dirty and ragged, and the weatherstripping was pulled away from the doorframe. Water in both the sink and the tub drained very slowly. Towels were ragged and holey. The hotel listing promises breakfast, but none was provided--not even the to-go breakfast other reviews mentioned. We were basically told not to bother the manager in the morning, just leave our key in the room and throw the drapes open when we left. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, but that's the only good thing I can say about this place. Absolutely did not live up to the expectations I had for Windham property.
- Jeannie (6/5): Comfortable rest in an older hotel, that needs repairs - Location, it was near our starting point to 66 Towels don’t get bleached as they were very dingy & gray.
- Sergio (10/5): - Good
- jim54536 (2/5): Don’t stay - The motel is run down, had no hot water I found that out in the early morning. I won’t stay there no more. Also the tv didn’t have any tv shows, the tv said no signal.
- Daniel (6/5): - comfortable bed and no bed bugs, good water pressure
gross recliner chair needs to be tossed, no office person in the morning to hand out to-go breakfast
tried to use microwave and tv/lights went out, smelled hot
- Richard (3/5): Poor -
- alexandra (4/5): - They do not offer breakfast even tho they advertise it. Be careful paying for the room online you might get double charged
- Sharan (6/5): A place to sleep after driving all day. - The room was clean. The AC was not on when we got to the room. The room was hot. So it took a while to cool down. The shower tub did not drain good so it collected in the shower tub.
- Robert (4/5): Room was clean and respectable. Service from staff was not acceptable. - I would answer your question but there was no breakfast. We went to the office to find out where it was located and the door was locked and no one answered the bell. Staff in the office. Not only was there no breakfast but they called in the morning while we were traveling to find out when we would be there. Guess it was so they didn’t have to sit around waiting on us.
We probably will not use Days Inn again after our current trip is finished. I definitely won’t recommend it to friends or family.
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Carlia (5/5): Passable - Comfy bed Ice machine broken. Bad reception on cable TV. Old towels.
- Pamela (10/5): - Older motel and clean. Property was well kept up. Not many dining options in very small town. Notmotel's problem. Nothing but good to say about it.
- Chris (10/5): Very Friendly - Great place to stop and rest while driving.
- John (6/5): - No amenities in the room. Soap shampoo and cups.
- Michael (5/5): Passable -
- The (1/5): HELL , DO NOT STAY HERE - Nothing Pillow cases were Yellow, sheets had stains , towles had extreamly gross stains , and not even hotel towles. They were some green stained towles.couple were white ( with nasty yellow stains and other gross stains ). I did not take a shower becouse there were no clean towles. I stayed there just for 4 hrs. Slept on the top covers becouse sheets were gross and had no pillow becouse pillow cases were extreamly Yellow with stains. I was promised my 150 deposit won't even be charged if room was not damaged. I stayed for 4 hrs , napped , and left . I was charged $150 . I called the place and asked. The owner/check in person said he can't help me , I need to go figure out myself . Excuse me what????!!! Are you kidding me ?? Finaly was told by booking.com that their policy ( I was told otherwise ) is that they will keep $150 for 14 days incase they find something damaged. In those 14 days they will have other people stay there !! This is CRAZY . I wish I took pictures !!! I was not going to leave a review , just nap and get back on the road but once told that I won't get my money back for 2 weeks , I had to...
- Erica (10/5): Exceptional -
- JU DURK (10/5): - Yes,good
- I2038PEbrandonw (10/5): Great Place To Stay - The beds are great and the AC has great heat keeps you nice and warm throughout the night also in the morning they give a Togo bag for free with snacks and fruits for the road I suggest this place for a night to stay if you’re on the road and need a palace for the night.
- Isaac (6/5): - Wasn't worth the money! I was traveling from the southwest and I needed a place to stay, I chose this place because it was a good stopping place on my trip. I chose it also because it said that it had a continental breakfast- which was just a breakfast in a bag, SUPER disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The room was very outdated and the place seemed a bit run down. Do yourself a favor and dont stay here!
- shellilynn2023 (2/5): Needs work! - This place really needs to be updated in the worst way. Looks like something from the 60's or 70's. Floor creaks (is it stable?) Breakfast isn't even offered. Towels are old and dingy. Room was ice cold when got in, and fridge was turned off. I was traveling with refrigerated medication.
- David (6/5): Pleasant -
- zanerebbecca (4/5): Uncomfortable - The ceiling by bathroom was peeling , it smelled musty. The room was clean . The beds were too hard. The pillows were too tall they hurt my neck. The ice machine didn’t work. The room was clean . It just smelled
- Bryan (8/5): Very good -
- Bryan (7/5): Good -
- Edgar (1/5): Avoid this hotel at all costs. - There is absolutely nothing to like about this property. Everything about this property is terrible. The rooms all had an awful smell. The carpets were all stained.
- wblee21191 (8/5): Clean, low rate - My wife and I stayed one night in Erick. The manager/owner was VERY accommodating and focused on customer service. The room temperature was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. My wife has a chronic neck problem, but the pillows at the hotel were EXCELLENT! We woke up ready to hit the road again.
- Estefane (2/5): Drive 15 minutes to stay in Sayre!!! - I'd never stay here again. The rooms are dirty. The linens have stains and beds do too. The floor is really dirty and hasn't been vacuumed. There's tags on the ground all over from trash people have left which means the floors have obviously not been cleaned. We had a huge bug in the bed I've never seen it before but managed to kill it. The rooms were super hot inside from having the heaters on full blast which gives out an old antique store smell. The staff clearly does not confirm, receive, or process Hotels.com reservations charging travelers twice for the same room and changing the amounts of surcharge. I don't know what scheme they're running but it's better to drive 15 minutes down the road to AmericInn by Wyndham Sayre, which offers free breakfast, clean rooms, and good service along with other amenities.
- Alberta (10/5): - Great hotel
- Janine (3/5): Poor -
- patriciacuming (10/5): Helpful While Traveling! - The weather was very storming when we were traveling so all the hotels were filled up but we were lucky enough to grab a room at the Days Inn before they were sold out too. Overall it got the job done and we were able to continue on. Front desk was helpful with providing ice, extra towels, and food recommendations. We appreciated the fact we can park right in front of our room and that it was peaceful.
- stephaniepratts (10/5): Easy and Comfortable - The rooms were clean and I was able to watch the games on the TV. The hotel's location was convenient, and the staff recommended to try the pizza place next door (GET IT!). Pulled over and got great rest the place and surrounding was very quiet and peaceful. Beds were super comfy so that was a plus. Thank you Sunny for the help!
- Curious40594169229 (8/5): Mom's new home ~ Arizona - My husband and I stayed here while going from Chicago to Arizona. We picked this hotel because of the motel style to provide access from car to room for our mom who can not walk.
Upon arrival ~ wee were greeted by the awesome owners that were great. Rooms were very comfy! Across the street we dined on Subway! The gas station also is right there for fill-up.
Thank you for a nice last night stay as we were on our way home!
- James (4/5): - The property was grungy and not well maintained.
- Rosario Maria (2/5): - Shabby
- Laurie (4/5): Poor customer service - The hotel was relatively clean, but in poor condition. Towels had holes and were thin. Bed was OK, but the pillows were like bags of cement. Worst part was having to wait for over 30 minutes until the person who was on duty to come back to the office. Apparently the person was shopping at the dollar general next door. Not happy, will not stay again.
- Amy (4/5): Disappointing -
- charles (2/5): Worst place we have ever stayed in our 50 years - When we arrived we had to ring a bell and wait for an attendant to arrive. When we entered the room the smell was so bad that In Order to sleep I had to have my head under the covers. There was dog hair on the carpet, dirt on the floors in the bathroom. Peeling plaster in 5 areas on the ceiling and what looked like water damage. The wall paper was peeling off the walls. I was so upset this Hotel charged us 100.00 no breakfast and it had a rating of 7.2. It was our 12 hour drive mark and it was 1:00 in the morning when we arrived. If we weren’t so tired we would have found another room. Fire alarms only last 10 years and I am quite sure this one is older than that. A code violation.
- rendero2022 (10/5): It was a convenient stay - I recently stayed at the Days Inn in Erick, Oklahoma during a road trip and was satisfied of my stay. The hotel was easy to access from the highway and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was able to get a great night's rest. Provided everything I needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area and in need of a restful night's sleep.
- Anonymous (3/5): Poor - it’s in the perfect spot when traveling. The rooms smelled and we not properly cleaned. I think it’s not worth the price.
- Billy (2/5): - Not very good
- Femsi (10/5): Little bag that was left behind. - I stayed at this Days Inn for one night as I was driving back from Los Angeles to my home in West Virginia. The room was clean, comfortable, just what I needed. The excellent review is for the kind and helpful people in charge which is very important when one is away from home. The little bag that I left behind was located, boxed and mailed back to me right away. I will always remember and appreciate their kindness and helpfulness.
- hwcpublic (10/5): Wyndham Rewards Excellence on display - Everything was exactly what you should get from a motel/hotel experience in America. Rooms clean, staff courteous, all amenities were working. Staff knew I had early departure and brought breakfast to us.
- Bryan (8/5): Very good -
- beulah (6/5): - No breakfast and the ice machine was broke
- Howard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jerome (1/5): dissatisfied - it was close to the freeway it was filthy
- Andrew (1/5): My worst nightmare while traveling with my wife. It felt like the beginning of a horror movie. - There’s absolutely nothing to like about this place. Nothing was as described, it was literally the exact opposite. This place is on its last leg. The pictures are nothing like what’s actually there. The beds are so hard and jagged with springs you can’t even sleep on it. The smell is horrendous and the guy that was on duty refused to change rooms and wanted to charge to change rooms. The bathroom is from the 60’s. Overall, the absolutely worst hotel on I-40….keep driving, don’t stop here. You will regret it and end up having to go to a chiropractor first thing in the morning if not a hospital for tetanus shot.
- Vicki (4/5): - Run down - overpriced for condition
- ljtupski (4/5): Not worth it! - We booked here based on reviews. It is NOT 5 stars! 30 years of wear shows. Towels are thin, rough, and need bleach. Air conditioner is noisy. Coffee is in-room only. There is NO breakfast, though advertised. Clerk is unfriendly. Only pluses: comfortable bed and decently clean. It is not worth the price!
- sinianddelandisb (10/5): Very nice stay - Stayed here 10 days and can truly recommend for everyone who appreciates nice, clean and big rooms, extremely nice staff who were very helpful in all the issues I had, and quiet and peaceful atmosphere despite the busy road next it, and very easy access. Will definitely stay again.
- J5970EOjimmym (10/5): Good sleep. - Nice and clean rooms. It was quiet throughout the night. Was traveling with pets and found a pet friendly hotel right off the interstate. My stay was great and would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers.
- elmers576 (10/5): Great place to stay. - Pulled over at 1 am and was very convenient to access. The front desk person was nice and helped me out with a issue on my device and for the wifi to connect. Was driving for about 14 hours that day and the rest I got was amazing. I will be staying here on my way back. I recommend this place for a good nights rest.
- Gregory (6/5): Hot room - Room was 90 degrees when I entered
- IntentionalTraveler (10/5): Economy Excellent - For economy travel this place for overnight is just right. My only minus is the really cheap soap bar. Good wifi. Extension cords placed smart for chargers. Comfy bed. Shower good. Good pizza place next door. If needing a stopover in west Oklahoma I would stop here again.
I give 5 stars because for the economy price it is excellent.
- Karaleen (8/5): - They allowed an early check which I appreciated.
- Anthony (10/5): - Newly renovated. Bed comfortable.
- valleysmoker3600 (2/5): Don't stay there if possible should be last minute stay - Stay away if possible rooms are dirty bugs in the room water spots on carpet walls and ceiling don't ask for ice you will not get ut and no continental breakfast for the price you pay same hotels in other cities and states for the same price have food drink and lots if ice rooms clean no bugs carpets clean clocks in the room refrigerator does not work properly
- Beth (4/5): - It’s needs updating. The staff was difficult during check in. Check in took another 25 minutes. Way to long!
- Anne (10/5): - Everyone was helpful & friendly.
- Kevin (8/5): - Just passing thru. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Loves truck stop and subway sandwich shop across tbe street
open 24 hr. Nice to get a sandwich and snack without driving .
