Keine Klimaanlage
Frühstück geht so
- Rudolf (7/5): - Dobrá poloha Není to hotel ale spíš dětský tábor.
Keine Klimaanlage.
- Cornelia (5/5): - Seezugang Klimaanlage war defekt
Fernseher war defekt
WC Halterung kaputt
Bett wurde nicht gemacht
Frühstück minimalistisch
- Thorsten (7/5): - Lautstärke
- Hans (4/5): All very good except the darkness of the rooms and far too hot to sleep with summer temperature - Location: close to highway, nice facilities close to the water, free parking, super chargers within 500m, nice bar and good breakfast Too much light in the room because you couldnt close off the windows
No airco or ventilation and with the temperatures it was impossible to sleep at night so next morning we were very tired while we still had to drive a long distance plus kids were in overdrive
- Cathy (7/5): It was good apart from the above and met our one night stop needs. - Location and room It was like a hostel full of young people on sports activities. We had chosen this hotel as we were arriving on a Sunday after a long day cycling and were told there was buffet dinner at 6 pm. We went at 6 and had to join a long line of kids canteen style. The staff had packed away the food by the time we wanted to get some more salad. They could have reserved spaces for private guests to eat at leisure!
- Heiko (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (8/5): Nice sports hotel - Very nice sports hotel near the lake, with multiple sports options right at the hotel. Corridors inside the hotel could be tidier.
- Blaž (8/5): Very good - Clean and comfortable room. No fridge. Breakfast was limited, with no warm options.
- Elvirapek (7/5): Nice location - Very pleasant stuff, clean room, easy late check in, dog friendly. Additional payment of 40€ per night for small dog is really too much. It's way more that usual charge for the dogs.
A lot of young kids, making a lot of noise late in the evening.
- Timo (8/5): I would come back - - great location on the shore of the lake
- breakfast was basic but ok - it was something between youth hostel and hotel
- Eduard (8/5): Very good - Location on the lake. Large halls and terraces. Light and clean. The breakfast could have been better. Slightly expensive.
- Antonia (7/5): Good -
- elk977 (10/5): Perfect vacation - We stayed at Villa Leitner and it was a perfect weekend away. Location on the lake is ideal. The space is generous inside and outside. We were a mix of adults and kids and everyone had a great time. There are 3 floors and a loads of stairs, but it is worth the exercise.
- pok1961 (10/5): Canteen lunch with quality - We didn't stay at this hotel but dropped by to have lunch. Although we were not residents they accepted that we took lunch a self-service style at 7.50 euro. There were two choices of potatoes gratin, with bacon or with vegetables, and a salad bar, fruit juice dispenser and drinking water. It was like going back to school again. The place was full of young travelling people full of energy and beauty. There are both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Millstättersee. Very beautiful. We had our lunch on the deck. It was a beautiful day time. There was also an open bar where you could buy drinks and coffees separately and pay for your lunch. Very impressed with this little find.
- Haynes7373 (2/5): What a mess up - This is the second year as international coach drivers taking school parties for their annual ski holiday with Active 4 we thought last year was bad enough sickness etc rageing through the 5coach parties then at the last minute we were all told we have to move hotels so that they can bring in five more Austrian school parties in and out the English at 830 in the morning when their coaches aren't leaving till 2200hrs with 4 rooms for over 250 people to get showered in within a 2 hr lot. The manager here is a complete monkey he leaves everything to Bertina active 4 reps are useless don't know whether they are standing on heads or toes their office in England says one thing and they are doing the other. This year we arrived at 2230 hrs on the Saturday with our hotel room numbers in our package to be told the drivers aren't stopping here they are in a guest house five minutes walk away which turns out to be fifteen minutes walk, you then have to have food at this hotel. I kicked off and told them if we didn't stay here we would be going home with the coach after 9 hours off. We soon got our room so did another two drivers from another coach firm the other six drivers went up to the guest house came down for breakfast at royal x covered in spots which are actual bites the guest house has two cats.
Thursday we were told we had to get out of royal x because of Germans coming out even though we are suppose to have day beds here we had to get onto booking .com to book a day bed for us even though our boss said I had got to suffer the bloody cat. This week we have had sickness etc all week food crap staff incapable food edible 50% and the manager a complete monkey . The only good thing about the place is the beautiful view across the lake think twice before booking and don't forget your Imodium.
- MannyRiviera (8/5): something new, something special - We were planning a short ski trip to Austria in February, so we booked a Royal X hotel, because it was not far and for a very reasonable price. We stayed there for three days and we had half board service. The hotel is very new, opened in January 2010, so it even smelled new. It is made from 3 cubes, each has 3 floors, they are not connected, which makes it a little inconvenient, especially in winter, because every time you go to a reception or a hotel restaurant or even swimming pool and sauna you need to take your jacket. There were four of us but we didn't booked the family room, just the regular ones, what ment four sleeping places( all beds are bunk beds). The room was a bit narrow, but everything was very suitable. All the rooms have LCD TV's and fridgerators. The location of the hotel is excellent on the shore of the Millstatt Lake, about 5 min drive from Spittal and 10 min drive from Ski center Goldeck, about 25 min drive from even bigger ski center Bad Kleinkirchheim, and about 30 min drive from Weissensee (White Lake), which is spectacular for ice skating in winter. For those who are interested in sports the hotel also offers tennis courts, beach volleyball and boats for rent in summer months. Seeboden itself is a small cosy village with lots of grocery stores and a few restaurants. Nothing special all in all. The food in the hotel was fine, every evening you get two different menus containing soup, main course and a dessert. Breakfast is typical continental and you even get a launch packet containing some fresh fruit, power bars and something to drink.
I would recommend this hotel to young folks and families with small children, because of its price and services.
