Guest Reviews
- Georgette (9/5): - Zimmer wunderschön und ruhig!!
Personal alle sehr freundlich. Preis Leistung super!

- Pappa (6/5): - The hotel is beautiful to start with.Nice building and nice rooms.Very clean also..the staff is friendly . So much noise from the restaurant downstairs..We came there to relax but the restaurant was busy both nights with noise and music even after midnight .
Plus it was way too expensive.Ok it is in Switzerland..things are expensive but I can not justify having to pay more than I payed in Zurich for example...
FurthermoreI did not like the fact that we were three persons. and we had to get two rooms .They could not add an extra bed in a room that was big enough for two adults and a kid
Finally breakfast included in the price was just basic..

- Stefan und Flavia (10/5): Aussergewöhnlich - Alles ausser check in/ check out Check in / check out mitten im Restaurant.
- Lee (9/5): Highly recommend but on the expensive side. - Beautiful old hotel with lovely clean rooms and good breakfast.
- Lukas (3/5): Massively overpriced - Dinner was okay Way too expensive for what you get, breakfast okay but ridiculously overpriced. There is no real reception, rooms are outdated and beds uncomfortable, the showers are of bad quality, TV consists of mostly broken stations, chaotic check in process, grumpy waiters. All in all, if it wasnt marketed as upscale 4 start hotel, it would be fine, but this is just a prime example of a money grab.

- Francesca (10/5): - Bello e caratteristico, accogliente, ottimo ristorante.

- SEMRA (9/5): -
- SEMRA (10/5): Mükemmel - Yemekleri temizliği çalışanların ilgisi ve güler yüzleri ulaşım kolaylığı Yok
- Peter (9/5): -
- Marta (10/5): Beautiful and central, great restaurant and traditinal engadin rooms - Everything was excellent Nothing
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- David (7/5): Great old building but rooms are depressing. - Zuoz is such a magical place and the hotel is in an old building right on the town square. We had a great dinner in the restaurant. The staff was friendly and energetic. Our room was small and dreary with only small windows - none of the charm of the rooms in the photographs on Booking.com. The bathroom wall has a weird jutting out portion so you couldn't shower without bending to one side and even then I hit my head multiple times on the wall. Also the room was up multiple flights of stairs (no elevator). The staff was terrific about carrying bags for us, but guests who have mobility issues should be aware. Finally, the hotel is right by the church and the bells ring all night, with a longer peal at 5am. You definitely need ear plugs.
- Joanna (10/5): beautiful place - - great hotel in beautiful small Village
- family room was very big - no elewator
- Zeeshan (8/5): very nice place as long as the noise does not disturb you. - we had a event to attend in Zouz so this place is very nice. Second time we stayed here and its very nice hotel. the church bells are very loud. I heard it even at midnight and as early as 5am or 6am. This time was a bit disappointed with the breakfast as it took time even for replenishment of croissants.
- Nishith (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (9/5): All you need in an enchanting place - Location, kind service, clean and quaint room amd a extremely beautiful building! Wow
- Nigel (9/5): I definitely recommend it and would come again. Zoaz is a gem and Crusch Alva is in the middle of the crown. The food wa - Delightful building. Spotlessly clean. Friendly, helpful service. I’d like to come again. It was hard to know where to check in. Leaving messages was a bit difficult. Bath is slippery and there is no grab bar on the wall.
- Lucy (8/5): Beautiful hotel with helpful staff. Delicious dinner. - Breakfast was average. Would have liked more coffee . I very much appreciated help
with getting to the train station with my heavy luggage. More coffee at breakfast
- Monika (9/5): Superb - Lovely village, great location and very nice and helpful man at reception.
- Vasco (9/5): Superb -
- Yehonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trinh (10/5): Exceptional - Located in the heart of Zuoz, a very nice historic hotel. The room is a bit old but very comfy with traditional Swiss decoration. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not much
- Zeeshan (8/5): Good place, if you are plan to stay in Engadin. - Nice hotel, as the historic touch. Very cozy. Good location. breakfast was rather ordinary, but I guess this is standard Swiss Breakfast.
- James (8/5): Very good - The staff, the environment and the building itself No elevator, pillows were too soft and there were no spare ones in the room
- Matt (6/5): Pleasant -
- Fabian (9/5): Superb -
- Sonia (10/5): A quiet and relaxing stay in a place steeped in history. - The spacious room, excellent breakfast and delicious dinner served in the cosy restaurant offering regional specialities. The hotel offers a reasonably-priced ski pass and is centrally located with a safe underground car park nearby. Nothing.
- Schmidt (9/5): Superb -
- Weibo (10/5): Great! - The hotel is clean and comfortable and in a very good location in the center of town! What I especially like about their restaurant is that the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great.
- Enrico (9/5): Superb -
- Tobias (10/5): Exceptional - very friendly staff
- Sofia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aroun (10/5): A charming mountain getaway in the Engadine. - À lovely place with an ever-helping and pleasant staff!
We had our evening meal with them as well, and it was simply « top notch »!
- Radoslaw (9/5): Superb -
- Katja (8/5): Very good - Clean rooms, friendly staff. Noises from the kitchen below my room.
- Roger (5/5): Passable - great Hotel - but The problem is the Church bells that chime through the night. One church silenced their bells and the other, next door ?, did not
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- John (9/5): An amazing historic hotel in an amazing historic village - Fantastic historic hotel in one of the most picturesque little villages in the Engadine. Excellent food in the downstairs bar/stubl and a fine breakfast. Easy to reach by RhB trains Nothing of note
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Ankaiah (8/5): Very good -
- Bronwen (9/5): Thank you, I hope to return. - A lovely historical building in probably the nicest village in the Engadine.
Excellent breakfast. The restaurant was also very good and I enjoyed a delicious evening meal.
A short walk from the station and there is also a large central car park with a lift to take you up into the village. The windows in my room were very high up. Thus wasn’t a problem for me because I was out skiing during the day but might be something to check on if you are planning to spend lots of the day in your room.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good - Very Friendly staff, lovely restaurant with tasty food and excellent service, convenient hotel location, close to the train station. The noise from the corridor (noisy guests that night coming in at 2 AM and playing loud music, not the hotel's fault) and the church bells ringing all night next to the bedroom window, make sure you have earplugs!
- Jannis (9/5): Superb -
- Davide (8/5): Very good -
- Jakobkaspar (8/5): Very good -
- Andreea (8/5): Very good - The building is beautiful, staff very nice and helpful. The room was cozy. WiFi is quite bad, almost didn’t work at all.
Bells from the neighboring church woke me up during the night.
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arjunmuralidharan (8/5): Great stay for visitors to national park - Great staff, great breakfast, nice clean room Room facilities are quite basic, which is ok for this star rating but the price tag is hefty (even for Switzerland) and mainly driven by location
