• isabel (4/5): - El alojamiento se encuentra alejado del centro en lo alto de Guadix, resulta incómodo llegar hasta allí. El dueño era muy amable pero la relación calidad/precio no fue buena.

• Konstanze (10/5): Tolle und sehr originelle Unterkunft! - Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad gebucht, das sehr geräumig war, ideal auch für eine Familie, denn es gab dort noch ein Stockbett. Das Gebäude ist lebendige Geschichte, auch die Lage ist toll, etwas höher am Rande der Altstadt, aber nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum. Wir konnten fast vor dem Haus parken. Großes Plus: Es gibt eine Gästeküche. Der Betreiber hat noch viel vor und ist aktuell dabei, den Hof/Garten umzugestalten. Wir wünschen viel Erfolg! Nichts.

The view from the room and kitchen is of a junkyard. The location is not ideal: although it's close to the town center, you have to go through deserted and grungy streets to go to bars and restaurants, which is unsettling at night.

Only complaint was the mattress in the double room was VERY saggy in the middle and it felt like we were sleeping on the side of a hill. It might be ok if there was only one person in the bed and mattresses in other rooms may have been good.

• anónimo (10/5): Excepcional todo. - Excepcional todo. Instalaciones, habitaciones muy limpias, baños. Fácil estacionar. El pueblo de Guadix uno de los más bonitos de Andalucía. Un 10 de 10 . Nada en absoluto. Por poner alguna pega para mi gusto la televisión de nuestra habitación está un poco alta para verla . Pero no tiene nada de importancia ese detalle.

L'hébergement fait vivre une expérience hors du commun, un retour dans le temps. Il y a un théâtre et une salle de spectacle adjacents, fermés lors de notre visite , mais qui laissent présager qu'il y a des activités artistiques en haute saison.. merci pour l'accueil!

Je suis sûre que Gabriel saura continuer à la mettre en valeur. La chambre suite est grande et la vue magnifique sur la jolie ville de Guadix. L'espace partagé est très bien équipé et tout se trouve à disposition.
• Greta* (10/5): - La cittadina è una sorpresa, assolutamente da girare. La casa meravigliosa e molto accogliente. L'host è super, gentile e ti fa sentire a casa. Abbiamo dormito benissimo, cucinato, approfittando della cucina comune e potuto assistere ad un bellissimo concerto nel patio. Siamo stati proprio fortunati. La casa ha 1000 anni ed è ristrutturata con cura e bellezza, un posto dove si respira cultura e benessere.

• Nicolas (9/5): Overnight stay at La Casona de la luz - I like the darkness and ambience of my room. I enjoyed very much using the kitchen, dining and living room. When I stay there I seem to meet interesting people.. It is easy to park your car there. The shower head in the shared bathroom should attach properly to the wall fitting. It need a replacement.

• Dalia (10/5): Great stay in quiet place - I'm glad I just found a cheaper place than the cave house, but also in the old town among the winding streets. The old house is charming, the interior, wooden ceiling beams, the view from the huge kitchen window is great. There is everything you need, a large library for guests. It's quiet, peaceful around, well, maybe it's not the tourist season. If I travel through those places, I will definitely choose this hostel. Well, practically everything was fine, except for the slight smell in the bathroom.

• Ian (9/5): Fun, unique space at a great value in a lovely city. - This is a wonderful, quirky, hostel-style accommodation. I can normally be a little wary of hostels or booking places that have a similar setup but La Casona de la Luz defied my expectations. In a cozy space with your own bathroom and hot water (very important to me) I had a great visit here... the kitchen is well stocked for cooking and making coffee, and overall the space is quiet and has a nice view of the city. The price was an excellent value.
• Mori_neumann (2/5): Very poor - Overall the place is nice There were people smoking cigarettes inside the rooms, and the entire place smelled very bad. I told Gabriel, the owner, and according to him he spoke with the smokers, but in the 3 days I was there it smelled very bad of cigarette smoke.
