Guest Reviews
- Dennis (8/5): - Room is small but well decorated with a beach theme. It’s a former motel that was renovated and they did a great job. The court yard has lots of fun activities, including a giant chess board, ping pong table and bikes.
- Floris (8/5): - I love this hotel. But I wish they had a better check in process for returning customers, as the refilling the form each time (where you need to do the work for front desk, such admd
- Amy (10/5): - Staff was awesome! Very attentive to all our needs. Some road noise
- Meghan (10/5): - Perfect location! Wonderful hotel! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
- Shauna (8/5): - It was a very cute hotel and a great location. There was just a weird vibe when we checked in, like we interrupted something. Customer service is kind of a thing of the past.
- Flo (10/5): - The room was great, though, there was an ant problem. But the staff was very helpful.
This is the second time I stayed here. Love the location.
- Erica (10/5): - Really cute lobby and room decorations. The person that checked us in was super helpful and friendly!
- Christopher (10/5): - Clean and decorated very nice. Nice size restroom/ shower
- TINA (10/5): - The room is uniquely decorated, clean, & plenty of space to spread out!
- Melissa (4/5): Dirty Sheets and Floors - This hotel looks like it was a renovated motel from back in the day. While it is modern, my sheets were dirty, so was a pillowcase, and my feet were black from dirty floors. I just didn’t feel it was very clean.
- Xiomara (10/5): - So nice!
- Joseph (8/5): - Over all it’s good clean room good service didn’t like that I had to check in after a walk from the train station but they were nice enough to give us early check in for free nice spacious room with everything you need and more
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location - Great location, a bit noisy in evenings but not too bad. A/C worked great during heatwave. Nice outdoor spaces to relax.
- Tamy (6/5): This is a surfer’s motel at best - Way too overpriced for very minimal amenities. Check in wanted images of my ID - front and back - through a separate App. Overnight parking not included, plus another App to pay it. No one was at the front desk to check out in the morning.
Only good thing is it’s very close to State St.
- Andy (8/5): - Cute room, very convenient to downtown, with easy, affordable parking.
The room does not have a desk or table, so difficult for getting work done, but otherwise quite nice.
- Dustin (10/5): - Awesome place to stay!!
- Renee (10/5): - The pictures on the website did not do this place justice. They have turned this into an oasis, lots of relaxing spaces and fire pits for at night. I always saw staff cleaning up around and maintaining the landscaping. It is a very convenient location. The staff was very knowledgeable on places to check out. We were lucky enough to show up on a Tuesday and there was a farmers market going on at State Street. in the lobby for coffee in the morning, they had oat milk, almond milk, and MCT oil for your coffee, which was a huge bonus. Great location we will be back…
- Carlton (10/5): - What a gem, love the amenities and overall vibe of the place. Perfect location, walking distance to State St and the pier. Really enjoyed our stay!
- Stephen (10/5): Cute But Lacking Amenities - I recently had a an overnight business trip in Santa Barbara and decided to stay at the Hailey Hotel. I checked the photo online before I booked and thought this place looks like it’s cute and has a lot to offer. When I arrived I realized I had to check in online, get my key online, and checkout online. The lobby is really just a desk and no food, beverages, or other items to purchase. The grounds were nice if you want to chill and play corn hole. The room was clean, but the rooms were designed like they were trying to look like they were balling on a budget. Best feature was they are located a block from State Street which has so many options for food and drink.
- Joan (10/5): - I especially appreciate the cleanliness.
- Josh (10/5): - .
- Jason (10/5): - All around great spot. Location is prime. Room had a great vibe.
- 203racquelr (10/5): Best dog hotel - We took a road trip up the California coast and wanted to make a stop in Santa Barbara. We brought our 2 dogs and needed a dog friendly hotel to stay. Haley hotel was perfect! It’s a Small boutique hotel with an excellent location in downtown. And the outdoor area was great! The dogs loved it, and there’s even a small gated off dog area where the dogs could be off leash.
- Dennis E (2/5): - I will make sure that I let folks know that your company isn't here to make you comfortable. It's here to provide the basic. No cleaning room daily unless you request service. The room fee are not cheap. Lacking concerns for the public in providing fresh towels daily unless you request it. . Very disceptive stuff. Never again.
- Nina (10/5): - Had a great stay here. Really comfortable and clean room.
- christine (8/5): - The property is an old motel that they fixed up very cute. The room was on the smaller side but newly remodeled. They removed the pool and set up fun games outside. The area is great on Lower State Street and you can walk to many bars restaurants and the beach. The parking was cheap. I would return.
- mayda (8/5): - Close to downtownn
- alvin (6/5): - The room was clean and well appointed. The check in process is awful as you do everything online. Why do I need to provide a picture of the front & back of my driver's license? The hotel is adjacent to a popular night club, so is very noisy on the weekends, hence the reason for earplugs left on the nightstand.
- Susan (10/5): The Haley is a gem! - This hotel is a gem! In a perfect location, close enough to State Street to wander over for fun, but enough off the beaten path for it to be quiet. The decor is funky and cute, and the common spaces are awesome. Room was clean, towels/sheets very nice, amenities were good. Enjoyed our stay!
- Robin (10/5): - I was a bit nervous about this reservation bc I couldn’t reach anyone at the property.
The day of checkin, I was able to reach someone on the telephone and get a question answered.
The checkin, parking and key card are all on apps. I found this to be very convenient and time saving. I was checked in and had my room assignment and key access before I even arrived. I liked it. The location is amazing! Right off state street where all the bars and restaurants are. Was all walkable.
- Peter (10/5): - A great place to stay downtown.
- Verified traveler (2/5): I would not come back again - They charge parking , on top of that they over charge me 195 for parking !! I didnt accept anything. The QR code just went into charging 195 of unapproval charges. Had to call my bank and call for fraud.
The woman in the front was no help she just gave me the oh well , cant do nothing. And checking in was a pain. No internet services but they wanted us to check in on the phone.
- Doris (10/5): Convenient, nice & good value - Comfortable bed, lots of conveniences (including items for an in-room breakfast), nice ambiance and quiet & convenient location. Highly recommend.
- elizabeth (6/5): - Did not like the check in process or the hassle it took to park the car. Said there was no person at a desk and there was a very nice man there when we checked in. Would have saved a lot of frustration if we would have know that.
- 527ginad (2/5): Disappointing - When I got here I was happy, great location and cute. Then the internet and tv would not work. I’m here for work and big meetings tomorrow, was looking forward to a night of researching what I needed for my meetings and watching tv… can’t do it or get ahold of anyone to fix the problem. Office is closed. Toilet also runs every 2 minutes, going to provide a great nights sleep, again, no one will answer to fix the issue. Such a disappointment.
- Yvonne (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Jacob (4/5): Good hotel & service but loud nightclub next door - Next to a loud nightclub that played music until just past 2 A.M. on a Thursday, with people regularly screaming for some reason until then.
- Flo (10/5): - Great service, loved the room decor. 4 women in the family room and we had everything we needed.
And my dog enjoyed the cute doggy park area too.
- Melisa (6/5): - Thin walls, people partying in the outside area. This property is more of a hostil than a hotel.
- Marissa (10/5): Great! - I booked this place last minute and it was so nice and convenient!
- Sandra (6/5): - Nicely decorated, clean rooms. But the attempt to do all checkin and checkout on a mobile app is not convenient for everyone. Neither is the understaffed lobby. The staffperson was helpful enough on the rare occasion when he was there, but he did say there would be coffee in the lobby in the morning and there was not on either day. He showed up to fix the key when I texted him, but phones break, get lost, lose their charge, etc. Some people don't even have them.
- Celina (10/5): - No one at front desk on checkout date I had to text the phone number. Overall it was pleasant.
- IMMER LIZA (8/5): - Overall property was as advertised. Very clean. Cute public/play areas. Walls a bit thin. (They give you ear plugs) No comp water bottles in room, but there’s a Water fountain in the lobby, though the Lobby/front desk was locked up at 11am with no explanation. Left keys with the housekeeper. Downtown/State street is the next street over/very walkable.
- Amanda (8/5): It was ok. - It was a standard room. No counter space in restroom and window and blinds were dirty. Bed was comfortable. Front desk service was not really friendly.
- david (2/5): - This hotel is by far my worse stay in year of 2024. First of all, heater is not working so they ended up giving me a portable heater to use for the room. Then the only TV in the room also not working so our family has to use my laptop as the only entertainment in the room. We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights so we didn;t get to have any room cleaning service since they only offer this every other day during the trip. For a room costing my almost $400...this is the most expensive motel fixer...overall...terrible may be the word.
- Q6965FUcurtisw (2/5): WARNING! DO NOT RISK MAKING A RESERVATION WITH THE HALEY HOTEL - DO NOT RISK MAKING A RESERVATION WITH THE HALEY HOTEL!!! I wish I had seen some of the many warnings online about reservation and card charging issues. I was cheated by this hotel of $905.20. The Haley Hotel looks and functions like a motel where you have to download several apps to do everything yourself-- there is no service-- including reservation, room keys, parking, everything. But that's their hotel, they can run it however they want. What they CANNOT do is cheat people out of their money without facing these reviews, complaints to the Better Business Bureau, and etc and etc.
Somehow an extra reservation was made when we visited in March 2024. This was discovered when we showed up to "check in" (online, no service). We made it clear we never reserved three rooms-- only two. We even contacted the manager by email (there is of course no Manager ever on site to help you in person), and we received back from the Manager an official cancellation of the third room, complete with a Cancellation Number. We thought that was the end of it. But no, later the Haley Hotel charged us for 3 nights for the 3rd room we had cancelled!! Total of $905.20. We contacted the Haley Hotel 13 times -- 13 times! -- including by certified mail, always presenting the Cancellation Number and requiring a refund. Never a single response. LESSON LEARNED: The Haley Hotel is willing to change your card for the maximum amount possible for any reservation issues-- even if they have issued a cancellation in advance! They know credit card companies are loathe to intervene with these issues. Do not get cheated -- stay somewhere else in Santa Barbara.
One more thing-- we also see that the Haley Hotel likes to attack anyone daring to post a complaint online. Our promise-- we promise to broaden our complaint and repeat it far more loudly and widely should that happen to us as well. We feel an obligation to try to protect people who got cheated by the Haley Hotel and dared to complain about it.
- Charlene (10/5): - Great location. Updated and clean
- Christopher (6/5): Good hotel. - The hotel was a good hotel. The only problem is paid parking but its near the beach and pretty much everything. The hotel was nice to go to. Me and my coworker enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a night. After day one ..room service is available. Great for Thanksgiving.
- Christopher (10/5): - The Staff were excellent.
- Drew (6/5): Annoying registration and check-in process - This hotel is fine, good location, decent room, no major issues with the hotel itself. However, I will not stay here again because the registration and check-in process is so annoying. Starting two days before my arrival, I started receiving both text messages and emails telling me I had to download apps, register online, check in online, and even after I did all that, which was excessive, I still received messages telling me to do things I had already done. I even received emails asking me to register after I was already in my room. In total I received at least 7 text messages and even more emails for a single night stay. They have gone so far to try to be 'tech advanced' (which really means they hire less people to actually work there), that the process is far more annoying than just showing up, giving someone my ID and payment card, and getting a key.
- Sara (8/5): - Great location, close to lots of dining and shopping.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Now my go-to hotel in Santa Barbara! - One of the cleanest hotels I’ve seen recently. Friendly staff, easy check in, excellent location if lower state street and waterfront is where you plan on spending your day.
- Gabriel (6/5): - The room was nice. The water pressure in the shower was awful, and the drain didn’t work properly. It’s a very loud hotel and the sheets didn’t seem clean.
- Dub (2/5): - Very small room to begin with, the heater was not functional and the overhead ac/head was unresponsive to the thermostat. We were cold!! the main bed had a sheet and a ticker sheet. the bunk beds had 2 small throw blankets you get from the airport, we had to use 2 to warm our 11yr old and she was still cold. The TV remote only turned on and off the TV and was no help at all.. To top it off when we were getting ready to check out, my daughter turned on the hair dryer and it started to smoke and caught fire.. it was a wild night/day to say the least. I spoke with the management and they were happy to hear my frustrations, nevertheless it was not a fun stay.
- Marisa (4/5): - Very great location! Staff was accommodating. Room and hotel were very cute. But there were ants, mold and the room was always muggy/ everything felt wet.
- Brian (10/5): - Great location. Friendly staff. Very clean. Rooms are a bit small, but well appointed.
- Alfa (2/5): - Beds are uncomfortable//small rooms
- Melanie (2/5): - I wanted to like this place! The "lipstick" is good and the grounds are hip, and it's conveniently located near shops and restaurants. But the foundational needs of a hotel are a good night sleep and some level of service, neither of which we got. In fact, it was painful for me and my 8 year old (who otherwise would sleep through anything). We stayed in Room 6 on the 2nd floor. The slider window that looks out on the street is old/poor quality. We could hear EVERYTHING happening on the street until it finally quieted down about 3AM. There is a TON of activity on the street on a Saturday night, including screaming and what sounded like drag racing and car tires spinning out, over and over again for hours. We kept waiting to hear a crash. It was anxiety-inducing and while the earplugs they left in the room helped take the edge off slightly for me personally, they didn't fit my daughter. Additionally, the A/C did not work so it was HOT in the room even with the ceiling fan full blast, but we couldn't open the windows, so heat + noise made it impossible to sleep. We were grateful when morning finally came and we could leave. Finally, because check-in is done via the app they make you download, and since all communications were digital, I never saw a human being. There was ZERO service that we experienced during our stay. I'm so frustrated that I spent $340 on a hotel ($300 for 1 night + $40 fee for small dog), when a $30 campsite would have been more comfortable.
- Vina (10/5): - Good
- Daniel (6/5): Excellent! but… - 2 important things to be aware.
1) very old windows allow noise from blocks away to filter into the room at night. Very difficult to get a good night’s rest due to noise level at night. Any cars or teucks or people noise filters through.
2) glass heater in the room has light that does not turn off. Even at the lowest setting it is very bright. So, either sleep warm but in a lit room or cold and dark room. No other choice.
I would look elsewhere next time.
- Alexandra (10/5): Fabulous find in Santa Barbara - We had the perfect stay at the Haley Hotel. It's just how it looks in the pictures. A highlight is how they converted the standard parking lot in front of the rooms into a closed off, private hang out space for the hotel guests. There are plenty of games and activities for kids to keep themselves busy and adults to enjoy their vacation. And parking is available in the lot next door.
We stayed in a little suite with our two kids. They shared a twin bunk bed in a small room that is separated from the main room by a barn door. Their room also had a dresser and the kitchenette, containing a mini-fridge, electric kettle, microwave, coffee, waters, and oatmeals for the kids. That was very appreciated. It also had a window that we kept cracked open for cool air overnight.
The suite was clean, tidy, and well-stocked. The room was quiet, except for occasional car/emergency vehicle noises, as happens in a city. The hotel location is great, right off of State Street, walking distance to everywhere in the old town. Will stay here again. As a final note, our kids loved the Moxi interactive creativity museum, which is a short walk from the hotel. Recommend.
- LISA (10/5): Cozy, fun spot - We loved this little gem just off of State Street. The courtyard is full of fun games/hammock/swings and the bed was SUPER comfortable. Great value for the money!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent visit. Great hotel, great location, very comfortable, clean, and cute.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent visit. Great hotel, great location, very comfortable, clean, and cute.
- jbscanio (2/5): WARNING about HALEY HOTEL - WARNING!! DO NOT BOOK IF THERE IS ANY CHANCE YOU NEED TO CANCEL! We had to cancel our reservation due to a medical emergency, gave over 24 hrs notice but they still charged us over $1,500 for our full reservation. Despite repeated calls and emails, no response from management. Check other options when visiting Santa Barbara- there are plenty of nice, ethical places to stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Get rid of the apps! - While everything was acceptable, I hate the appification. Installing an app to check in is unacceptable. The app for the key didn’t even work. A waste of time.
- David (10/5): - Very nice hotel. The room was well designed and decorated! It had all the amenities one could ask for. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was half a block away from all the major restaurants in Santa Barbara! I would definitely return if visiting Santa Barbara!
- Brian (8/5): - Quality vs price wasn’t there, but it was clea and convient
- Leeann (8/5): - Each room is quite unique and cute.
We were a little nervous with the ear plugs provided by the bed, but we had no need for them!
The property provides outdoor games, fire pits, water feature, hammock chairs & dog area, again it is quite nice.
- Vivek (10/5): Reasonable accommodation in Santa Barbara downtown - Since this was a work/pleasure trip, I'm glad to have come across this property in downtown Santa Barbara. Very respectful staff, excellent customer service, and well located off State Street. It's ideal for families with young children, and I definitely recommend staying here.
- stacy (8/5): - Simple, clean and convenient. Well-tended grounds. Doors open to outside walkways- something to note for solo and/or female travelers. Contactless check in and out.
Area is walkable to several coffee shops and restaurants. Surprised by unpleasant odors, and opted to drive to most locations. Made a good stop for a quick and hassle-free overnight in SB.
- Sandra (10/5): - This property was amazing! I read some reviews that were NOT anything I would agree with as far as negative things. It was so centrally located, clean, comfortable bed, and a very quaint ocean theme. We enjoyed the little touches of giant chess, cornhole, and pin pong.
- Kyle (10/5): - Place is awesome and conveniently located next to State St. with plenty of restaurant and bar options! Would gladly stay there again.
- N5417YXmegans (4/5): Comical list of stuff broken. - Location is really good. Parking easy. It went downhill from there. Blinds were broken, we were on first floor, high foot traffic. And from there it just got more comical with how much was broken. We asked to borrow a dolly to bring something heavy from the car, both tires were flat. The person working the front desk really seemed like maybe they didn’t get paid enough to care about things broken, smiling, anything. Hotels are becoming more ala carte, this was the first I’ve seen it at this level. There was technically coffee and breakfast in the room. In my opinion, I’d rather spend a little more for an airbnb.
- sidneymatthewr (2/5): They charged me for a reservation I didn't make and took my money - The Haley Hotel took $400 from me for a reservation I did not make.
I called the Haley Hotel on Tuesday, Mar 26 to ask about availability for room from March 30 to April 1, 2024. Without finishing my reservation, and without my consent, the person I talked to on the phone booked a reservation for me from March 30 to March 31--not the correct length of time, because again, I didn't even mean to make a reservation over the phone. I then later booked my actual reservation online, as I had originally meant to do.
Later, when I tried to clear up the erroneous booking that the front desk person made for me without my consent, I was told that the reservation would be cancelled and I would be charged, despite the fact that I hadn't even made the reservation in the first place. They charged me almost $400 for a room that they booked on my behalf, without my confirmation or permission. I had no problem paying for the room that I did stay in, but when I asked to speak to someone who could help clear this up, I was told it was "just company policy" and "nothing could be done." I didn't even get to talk to someone besides the front desk.
Since then, I have tried to communicate with the Haley Hotel to resolve this situation, but they have been intransigent and opaque. I'm going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because this is wack. If you decide to book here, you'd better be sure nothing goes wrong--otherwise, they have no problem taking your money and telling you to deal with it.
- Brittany (10/5): - Amazing stay !! Perfect location- in a great spot. 15 mins walk to the beach. Near all the shops. Quiet area just off state street
- Alyson (10/5): - Amazing!
- Lydia (10/5): Very comfortable stay - Such Need details very comfortable. I’ll be back. Thank you.
- Lisa (10/5): - It was so cute, and the people were very nice! Loved the decor!
- James (8/5): Exceeded my expectations - Was unsure when I booked this hotel but it exceeded my expectations. Room was nice and bright with a good bathroom off it.
Getting your electronic room key and sorting out the parking was a bit of a faff but once done were easy to use.
Will return when I next go to Santa Barbara.
- Tim (6/5): - Our stay at this hotel was not a good experience our room was on the street and it was as if the window was open but it wasn’t it would have been a much better experience if we were not kept up all night with the street noise maybe they should invest some money in a better sound proof windows
- Shilu (4/5): - Convenient location for dinning, and the hotel grounds are cute, but it’s way too loud to sleep because the room is right next to the State street. Ppl are out there party until 3am. They offered earbuds in the room, but the street noises are way too loud even with all windows closed. The hotel could invest in double soundproofing windows for the room… Don’t recommend it if you need a place to sleep.
- Verified traveler (10/5): I'll come back every time I come to Santa Barbara. - Let me say that I really really like this hotel. The outdoor space is so fun, the location is one block off of State Street, the rooms are nicely done, and I can bring my dog! There is easy parking right next door (you have to pay, but cheap for Santa Barbara). I like using my phone as a room key. The room is well appointed and has little touches like a wine bottle opener. The fire place in each room is nice, too!
My only downside is that they require you to upload a picture of your driver's license and credit card. I didn't actually mind doing this AT the property, but I wasn't about to trust a link that came to my phone from an unknown phone number. It might be nice to let travelers know that it IS okay to do it upon arrival if they are wary of getting their information stolen.
I'll come back every time I come to Santa Barbara. Such a great hotel for the price.
- Kayla (10/5): - Really clean rooms, easy check in, great location
- Marilena (10/5): - I picked this hotel because of the cleanliness rating, the location, and all the activities in the common area. I cannot rate this hotel high enough. I'm one of those people that cleans the hotel before we settle in and I was AMAZED at how clean it was. The room was adorable, my child loved the hanging chair in the room - what a treat. We took advantage of every single activity they had - chess, ping-pong, connect-4, outdoor seating. the only thing we didn't get to use was the bikes because one had a flat. the location is PERFECT. Two minute walk to state street, beautiful 20 minute walk to the beach. Other's posted about it being loud. It is right next to a parking lot which I could see getting loud but it was not loud enough to ruin our stay or disrupt our sleep. 10 stars for Haley hotel. I'm so happy we stayed here.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay, especially for the rate - Terrific location, friendly and accommodating service, sweet vibe.
- Marcia (10/5): Awesome stay in Santa Barbara - Registration and check in is aimed to be contactless, so they send you multiple messages to remind you. I booked the room on a Thur morning and headed to a volunteer event but kept getting multiple messages to register so it was a little annoying. I tried to register online, because I’m all about the ease, but my credit card photo would not upload so I had to go into the registration desk anyway to check in. The room was great - comfy bed, just the right amount of furniture, nice modern decor and most importantly clean. Room comes with a coffee machine, tea, a few snacks and water. It’s a good sized room, great for 2 people. The hotel was perfectly located near shops, restaurants and bars so it was great to just walk around. Parking was easy to find right next to the hotel of course contactless payment but this time I was able easily make the payment. Great place to stay and well priced. I would definitely come back.
- Liv (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the Haley hotel. The rooms and outdoor area are well decorated, nice amenities too. Great part of town with lots to do!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect stay! - I loved everything about this place - a unique find! The staff here was helpful and communicative. The location was also perfect for everything I wanted to see and do in Santa Barbara. I especially loved not needing a room key to keep track of since there is the option to use a phone app to enter your room instead.
Another review I saw below mentioned not being able to connect to wifi but I did not have that problem. There were directions right by the bed in the room that worked perfectly.
- Cindi (10/5): - Really amazing. Area was quaint.
- Allison (8/5): Great location and space! - The Haley Hotel is a full renovated motel right in the center of downtown Santa Barbara. The location is excellent, it's a short walk to dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops. The beach and much more SB attractions are only a few minutes further on foot. The hotel also offers free cruiser bikes which make navigation of all of SB a breeze (very bike friendly town). The courtyard of the hotel is amazing with a bunch of fun games, seating, mountain views, just a very nice vibe. The room was very clean and comfortable with access to some nice amenities like coffee/tea/snacks in the room and lobby.
We loved this hotel but there are a few areas of improvement needed. The hotel's wifi simply didn't work. My wife had to do some remote work and when she asked about the wifi was told by reception 'I normally just use my phone instead'. They also refused to give us standard key cards and insisted that we use an app to unlock the room. This was a bit glitchy, particularly when trying to share the key with other user's phones. Also, being required to download an app with non functional wifi when you've been traveling all day and just want to enter your room... not great and another area where the receptionists weren't very helpful or friendly.
We would totally stay here again, love SB! I just hope they address these little issues.
- Scott (10/5): - The wonderful coffee and pastries in the morning is so delightful. And the people are super friendly.
- Yvette (10/5): First time stay at Haley! - Hotel itself was so cute & clean. Amenities were great and fun! Location was excellent able to walk to State Street and right next to Funk Zone which is so cool. Went on wine tour in Santa Ynez and bus picked us up at the hotel. Staff was helpful but remember to smile :-) !
- Cathy (6/5): Late nite no sleep!! - You have to pay for parking, of which I do not recall seeing on the reservation or website. Prices high in an area that was EXTREMELY loud until 3 in the morning. Will not return.
- sabrina c (10/5): - This hotel had an extremely cool and relaxed vibe. The room was very clean and really decorated very tastefully. The outside area was really nice, the games and the seating areas were very inviting. The bed was comfortable and all the extras were nice. The teas, waters and mints. We will definitely be coming back.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Meh. - I arrived two hours before check in time. Room was ready but they wouldn't let me in unless I paid an early check in fee. Bed was very uncomfortable.
- Jack (10/5): - Cute place.
- Trisha (6/5): But for the rude staff… - The location was great. One block from State Street action. Parking was easy but expensive. $20 for self service lot with no guard and little light. Hotel staff was snide and unfriendly, bordering on rude. Left a bad taste in our mouth. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable enough. No fridge in our room though when we booked, fridge was noted.
- Brock (10/5): - The lady that checked me in was very sweet :)
- Steven (4/5): Below Average Place - For this amount of money, you expect more service and a decent breakfast. Dry disappointing.
