- Joseph (10/5): Comfort and Style in Seoul - The decor was lovely and very comfortable. The area was safe and close to high end shopping Shinsegae Complex and some local shopping areas. The Myeongdong area is more lively and it's 15 minutes walk, but this is quiet, stress-free and comfortable. No complaints. We didn't have time to explore the hotel, and the Bar was nice with polite staff, The Palais de Chine has great food, but they don't really understand the order of food presentation. Only someone from China like my wife would notice that the food came out in the wrong order (in true China Guangzhou style,).

The property is clean and well-designed and not to emphasize less that the room was quite modern, equipped with automatic curtains, toilet. The cleaning service was very nice and you could actually smell the cleanness of the bedding. :) The in-room service was pretty convenient and could be done easily through the provided tablet. Everything was perfect and well arranged.

- Brion (10/5): Fabulous! Did I mention it is FABULOUS! - I booked this hotel last minute so didnt really know much about it, and holy wow was I pleasantly surprised. The pictures do NOT do this hotel justice - it is absolutely beautiful! The room was beautiful, the lobby, the lounge, the library - all of it was in keeping with the luxury brand in an approachable way! The breakfast was amazing, and the happy hour was lovely. The hotel is literally across the street from a subway stop making transit anywhere a breeze, and only a short 10 minute walk from the heart of Myeongdong. I wished I could have stayed a few more nights just to experience more of what the hotel had to offer! Beautiful!!!! The room lighting was weird in that it was essentially controlled by control panels, one on the nightstand and one by the front door. To get up in the middle of the night meant you had to mess around with the knobs to find the right portion of the room, not a single lamp, or go for it in the dark. similarly, the first control panel, in my room, was about 3-4 meters from the entry door. when i came home late and the shades were drawn, i had to use my phone flashlight to find the room lighting down the hall. The lighting controls are nice, but inconvenient - I just want to turn on a lamp. There is no reading light for one side of the bed, its "bedroom" lighting controls. this is minor as EVERYTHING else about the hotel was truly fabulous.

- Deyo (8/5): Luxury hotel right in the heart of Myeongdong. - Location is excellent. My room was large and bed so comfy. Like the decor. I woyld have liked there tk be a bell boy/someone to help me with my luggage when i arrived. There wasnt anything like that, althought i arrived late. Also, the bathroom floors look like they could be cleaned a bit more, maybe polished? And there was a suspicious looking stain on the sofa in my room. The bathroom mirror wasnt thoroughly cleaned and when i came back after my room was done, still had stains. The lobby scent/perfume was a bit overwhelming at times. Same scent but a bit less will would make it easier to enjoy. Lastly, i kept asking about where the airport limosine was and the map given wasnt very clear. In the end i took a cab, but would have been nice if it was better explained.

Of course, both the room and bathroom were impeccably clean. The team was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was of high quality, refined, and beautifully presented. The location is not ideal, and a taxi is needed for almost every trip.

During my stay, they kindly recommended a hospital for me and arranged a taxi in a very timely and professional way. In particular, Hera made me feel warm and reassured. She was also very professional, and her thoughtful assistance made my trip much more comfortable. I truly appreciate their kindness and great hospitality. We couldn’t find a way to switch on/off the lights to the bathroom,which was open to the bedroom, without having the bedroom lights on too. This was an issue at night time.

The staff truly set the stage when you get here from Luna's kindness to Lukas' friendliness and efficiency. Rooms are well thought out and the Jr Suite is so spacious for our family of 3. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Absolutely looking forward to our stay when we return.
- amauryk2026 (10/5): Memorable honeymoon stay - We planned our honeymoon in Korea, with 5 days in Seoul at the Escape hotel. First of all the place has an amazing atmosphere and style from belle époque which gives the hotel a soul and makes it unique in the city. The staff at the reception is very helpful, professional and caring, especially Lucas and Jason. They provided accommodation and they had appreciated attentions. The rooms are well designed and decorated and very comfortable. The hotel has 2 nice restaurants and and an amazing bar at the top called Marque d'Amour. Their cocktails are remarkable and very creative. Once more, the staff there were very caring and professional. They also had a kind attention because we were on honeymoon, which is really appreciated and made us really feel that they cared about this occasion that is very special to us. We will definitely come back to Escape hotel next time we visit Seoul and will keep beautiful memories for our honeymoon.

I had a little trouble with the perfume in the room when we arrived but called and Jason was wonderful fast and efficiently found a room that was comparable and without the strong fragrance. It was a high level of service and accommodation. The overall hotel does have strong scents but there are rooms that don’t smell, so keep that in mind if booking or need to make a request.

The theme is carried through and the facilities are perfectly executed. I felt it was overpriced and so is averything associated with it, the bar, the housekeeping etc. The crowd in the hotel tends to be monied and arrogant - there were some scenes I felt were over the top. Staff are trying to keep the tantrums under control - but these people are not the easy kind....

- Jordan (10/5): Great hotel! I'd recommend it highly - When I booked this place, I thought it looked a little over the top and strange. I was WAY wrong. It's amazing. Possibly the best hotel I've stayed in. I loved everything about this place. The staff were more than great, the room was amazing, the gym was good, the bar was cool, and the location was perfect. I will stay there again. The only complaint I would have about this place is the food situation. They had a cafe onsite, which I thought meant it was a place I could get coffee in the morning, but it was some sort of formal tea party...which was weird. Also, I didn't eat at the restaurant as the prices were absurd for the fixed menu they offered. Room service also lacked options.
- boonhiant (10/5): Good location with good service staff and rooms - Location- just next to Namdaemun market and close to lots of nice restaurants like Seoulhanwoo for beef galbi soup, Daega for beef soup, Bonus for porridge and famous Hotteok, bbq chicken for fried chicken and beer Service staff - must call out George HONG for his wonderful and chery demeanour at 830am in the morning, made us feel so welcome to the hotel and his wonderful smile and his sense of humor in English too. And also Jason, though a trainee staff displays such good mastery of English and good recommendations of fried chicken at night when we were craving for it. All the staff in hotel generally are happy to serve you and make your stay welcome 🙏 Housekeeping was impeccable for the room we stayed - 2109. Doormen always open door for you and offer to help you with any stuff you are carrying unlike other hotels. And they greet and acknowledge you while waiting for your Uber. Feel secure with them around Keep up good work!

- Brianna (10/5): Perfect Hotel In the Heart of Myeong-dong - I absolutely LOVED everything about our stay! From the moment we checked in when the staff let us know that they upgraded our room for my mom's birthday, I knew that this was going to be a special stay. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff was amazing and made L'Escape feel like our home-away-from-home for the week. The room was perfect for the second leg of our trip. It was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was amazing. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and super fast. We also loved the location of the hotel as it sits in the heart of Myeong-dong, about a 5-minute walk from the Myeng-dong shopping street and right next to the 4 subway line. We were able to explore so many parts of the city and get back to the hotel very easily. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul, especially first-timers! Nothing, everything about our stay was amazing!

- W9354QAjessicam (10/5): Upscale but Friendly Hotel Perfect Stay - highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the thick of the shopping and street fare action. the hotel itself is classic french/Parisian themed and updated with modern comforts. the staff were standout - Bella and George at the concierge desk, and Jenna who was the reception manager all were super kind and very helpful and warm. exactly the vibe you want when traveling solo and in need of friendly faces. Bella specifically helped me several times in my short 2 night stay including helping me load an address into Naver maps that i was struggling to find. THANK YOU to L’escape hotel for making the start of my travels very comfortable and memorable.
