Guest Reviews
- S (10/5): Hotel room was comfortable and the gym was adequate as well as the breakfast in the morning. - Convenient to activity that my friend and signed up to do on Saturday. N/A
- gabrielle (1/5): Awful - Nothing The office was close. We had to go to best western to get check out but the employee didn’t know what to do. Took a long time for him to respond and get my room.
The room was full of spiderwebs. Spiders. Bugs. It was full but full of hairsssss. The owner was rude.
- Anonymous (1/5): one good person makes all the difference. - see below Work caused me to need to check in at 12:15 am. I called at 11:30 pm - no answer. Called at 11:40 and woke someone up who told me to check in at the Best Western next door. I did that and the receptionist (Stephanie) was fantastic. She gave me a room at the Best Western at the Relax Inn rate. So my comments about the Relax Inn have to do not with the room, but the way I was treated by their staff before checking in.
- Tong (10/5): - no internet at my building room but the page said WIFI free. But I need goto the office area to get internet
- daniel (10/5): - Clean and quiet right nexto thruway .
- Morton (8/5): Very good - Quiet, clean, comfortable Ground floor
- Vickie (9/5): Superb - Beds were comfortable, travel with pets so was very convenient. Not very far from all the eateries in the town. Thank you Can't think of anything. We were there long enough to sleep get up start traveling again.
- Fitzpatrick (1/5): Bad - Nothing it didn’t look like anything the website Said it would be. There was plastic on the windows and drugs deals going down in the parking lot I did not stay there ended up canceling after I noticed the problems with the property
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Doris (8/5): Clean rooms - Clean rooms. Nicely lite up at night for safety. Good value for the price.
- Patricia (2/5): - I had to check in from another hotel. Never met anyone from this hotel and then copied my credit card. I also am on the first floor and only one lock on door. I dont think I will be able to sleep tonight. I don't feel safe. Parking is in the same driveway as Best Western. How deceiving
- Knowles (1/5): I won't be back or recommend - Nothing Shower curtain had yellow slime on it. Sink trap was out laying in sink with black gunk on it.
- Jeff (4/5): Would not stay here again. - It was in a convenient location. The room itself was better than I expected after seeing the exterior, and the hallways. There were old mattresses, bedding, a shoe, a half bag of rice in the hallway leading to our room. The windows in the hallway were dirty, had bugs on them, and they were open with no screens in them. I believe the owners whole family is living in this hotel using it as housing. The room had car air fresheners hanging in it to make it smell good. The window in the room had no screen. There were a couple dead bugs in the room that were laying in plain sight and should have been noticed by the cleaner.
- Jennie (4/5): - Very dirty and a lot of things were broken
- Beth (7/5): Good - The room, bathroom, linens were all clean The hallway smelled musty and there were mattresses in the hallway.
- Joseph (3/5): Good enough for one night, but the motel grounds and hallways need immediate attention - Very close to I90. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Sheets and linens were ok.. The motel hallways and stairs were littered with trash. Mattresses and clutter. Looked like a flop house. Odd smell in room and heater did not work. Luckily it was warmish that day. Not able to properly check in or out as lobby was closed. Had to go next door to a neighboring hotel to get room key and leave credit card info. Never heard back from anyone regarding the processing of credit card. On a positive note, I did receive an advanced phone call letting me know that motel lobby would be closed for a bit and that I would need to pick up key next door. However, the next morning, lobby was still closed and I had no information about credit card processing.
- Adam (6/5): - The room was clearly an ex-Best Western property. Weak lighting, bathroom needs some work done. Vebt fan switch not working.
- Cheryl (8/5): - Very nice
- Katherine (6/5): - No problems, but they are in the middle of a renovation.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Steven (9/5): Good value clean room - Location and price
- Lindsey (2/5): - Dirty
- Alissa (1/5): Dirty - Nothing place was terrible. Upon arrival we were welcomed but the dirtiest lobby I have ever seen I could have made finger painting with all the fish on the windows. The man behind the counter I'm assuming owner didn't say a word to us. Got our key card went upstairs to a dirty hallway lined with dirty mattress. Our room had food crumbs all over the floor, garbage in our cans and even used open shampoo packed in the shower. Can't forget the hair that was literally all over the place. The bed had sweat stained pillow cases and long black hairs in the sheets. We didn't even dare to sleep there. Called and complained the women this time was very rude even used the f word to my husband. The whole thing was bad. I do not recommend this place at all.
- Piperato (2/5): - Very dirty, stains and hair on sheets went to complain door was locked to lobby. Had to go and buy sheets and pillows towels to even be able to sleep. Shower was broken, dead bugs and cobwebs in bathroom. Floor was filthy and black. Towels were worn out and dirty/stained. Toilet was broken. Zero people around to help. Checked out asap and of course door was locked. Buzzed over till someone came out. Man was in pajamas and no shoes. Took the card out of my hand and shut and locked door on my face literally. I’d give it zeros if possible. This is what I’d expect from a $70-$80 motel but at $160 a night I’m extremely angry, especially bc I paid for 2 nights and had to leave.
- Christopher (6/5): Pleasant -
- Monita (3/5): The stay was ok but I wouldn’t stay there again - Location The shower did not work and the employees do not care about the problems. The floors were not clean.
- Podsiadlo (9/5): Superb - I appreciate how clean the rooms were the amenities set up in the rooms. Would like to be able to get a deal on weekly stays.
- Brenda (2/5): - I wrote on the bathroom mirror "Clean me." I was actually leary about taking a shower.
- Keanon (2/5): Not a happy camper - The location was convenient. My room looked like it wasn't properly cleaned. There was old blood on the sheets, and the bathroom was filthy, including the shower, the floors, and the mirror. I had to go to the front desk and wait for them to come out of the back room for service twice ( about 8 or 9 minutes both times) only for the gentleman at the desk to hand me a broom and a rag to clean the bathroom myself which I did. Also, they advertise free wifi, but there are no codes available. You have to ask them for it, which was inconvenient due to the amount of time you have to wait for them to come out to service you. I'm not a complainer at all, but at the very least, the rooms should be clean and up to par for guests to stay in comfortably.
- David (8/5): - Good deal for the money
- Michael (4/5): - there was a lot of dust and cobwebs and dead potato bugs in all the corners and on the bed frame. There was hair in the bathtub drain that I had to clean out to get the water to go down. I would recommend spending the extra money there are many motels in this area. This is not a place. If they raised there cleaning standard it probably wouldn't be a bad Motel
- Anonymous (7/5): I had a good stay there the only thing is the room could have been a little bigger to accommodate a wheelchair - Conveniently located
- Doris (8/5): - Room was remodeled and clean. Coffee machine and fridge in room. Parking was right by room and plenty of outdoor lighting. Security camera on site. Casino shuttle available to Batavia Downs. Not far with car from shopping centers. Overall price was good and hotel manager listened and knew what he was doing. Will go there again. Felt safe!
- Hector (3/5): Poor -
- Bradley (2/5): - If you like black hair in the shower, no water pressure, a heating unit that smells like cat pee, rock hard mattresses, wall recepticals that have no covers and like a room that stinks...... this is the place for you. In a pinch it is better than sleeping in your yard, but I would not stay here unless your shot record is up to date.
- Richard (5/5): Passable -
- Anonymous (7/5): Nothing crazy fancy but perfect for what we needed for a night in Buffalo! - Close to everything we needed Nothing
- Scott (8/5): Quick in quick out - Location
- Anita (7/5): Good -
- Amy (7/5): Good -
- Jon (9/5): Superb -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (4/5): Disappointing -
- Cheryl (4/5): Disappointing - Needs to be updated
- Tiffany (2/5): Very poor - The facility had no smoke detectors in the rooms or hallways. They had the hook ups for them but no detector. The door to the bathroom was off 2 of the hinges in one room and in the other room tbe door was to big for the frame to close. There was no garbage cans in the room. When we checked out the door to the lobby was locked and I was told to just leave the keys on the ground by the door and they would get them in a minute.
- jeanne (8/5): - Close to Batavia downs
- Nicole (2/5): Very poor - How the staff told me itwas clean and a non smoking room there were ashes everywhere and they said there was a deposit on the room of 50 bucks but when I checked out theu wernt gonna give it back to me but they did.
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Rena (1/5): Disgusting - We had a late check in at midnight , we left a note in our reservation that we would be arriving as such. When we arrived to our destination the office was pitch black , we called the desk to get our keys , we woke a gentleman (maybe the owner). We paid for the room , as we entered the room , it looked absolutely nothing like the website photos. Beds were poorly done , rips in the mattress covers ripped , shower curtains stained , we had an outlet laying on our desk that looked as if it recently started a fire. The area was bad enough where the hotel was located. I called back the staff at the desk to have a refund , we woke him again an hour later. We did not get any form of apology for the state of the room , he reimbursed me only half our money. Severely disappointed, I recommend this hotel to no one.
- Yubilet (1/5): DISGUSTING & HORRIBLE TO SAY THE LEAST - Nothing The room was extremely dirty with dead roaches everywhere. Looked like the room wasn't clean in years. Stains everywhere, bugs walking everywhere. When I called the front desk to request a different room the man had a horrible attitude and said its nothing he could do for me. DISGUSTING !
- Nick (2/5): - Horrible all around horrible room was dirty had a smell microwave and fridge looked like it haven't been clean in months linen had stains all on them towels where dingy with rips and holes in them. Checking in i was standing there for 20 mins before someone came to check me in upon check out door was locked and i was told to leave key in outside window seal i will never book there again
- DAVID (2/5): - No light in stair and corridor.....Real safety issue during night and ear;y morning
- Elise (6/5): - Security was sketchy. You could see space all around the door. Nighttime lighting was ver poor. Outside doors were not secure.
The room smelled clean. Beds were comfortable.
- Paul (1/5): Terrible will never stay there again. Would rather sleep in our car. - Location everything else. Room dirty. Tv remote broken. Staff rude. Room key didn't work. No water pressure.
- Kenneth (8/5): A nice stay - Location and cleanliness
- Samantha (5/5): Passable -
- Cassie (2/5): - Very dirty and musty; rooms smelled very strongly of cigarettes. Checked out same day and found a different place to stay.
- Cyera (2/5): - The owner of manger guy of this place should be fired. He was using a key and breaking into our room at 9:30 am when checkout wasn’t until 11. He also would stare us down the whole time making us very uncomfortable.
- Kim (6/5): - Not as clean as I would like. No internet.
- Leslis (2/5): - I never got in the room the lobby was locked and closed when i came to check in
- Jennifer (6/5): Not great. - Eh….it was just ok. Room was freezing when I got there. No one at reception when I wanted to check in. Had to call and then go across the parking lot to the Best Western to have them let me into a room. I don’t even think they had my reservation down. Smelled a little like mildew. Only 3 channels on TV. ALL SPORTS!
- John (2/5): Unkeeped - I will not stay there agin if im in the area agin.
- Colleen (2/5): - This property looks nice in pics. Very decieving. Old. Smells weird. Dirty. Fitted sheet did not fit bed. Mark on tv like it was hit by something. Small bugs or mouse dropping in the bathroom. Hair in soap dish. Dirty toilet. Stained walls. So disappointed. Ended up not staying. Stayed at Budget Inn. Outdated, but clean.
- Naturlwoman (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE!!! - I was travelling from out of state and got to the hotel at 4am. The office was closed and I had to call. The 'staff' seem to live there and opened the door for me to check in. As soon as we got in we checked the beds. The room wasn't very clean and there were stains on one set of sheets and the comforter on the other bed was ripped on the bottom. We were exhausted so we took the best of what we could find and slept. When I woke later on and went to shower, there was only a trickle of water coming out of the faucet. Not nearly enough pressure to shower. The hotel 'staff' didn't really seem to be concerned that there was no water in the room. I checked out that morning.
- Caitlin (2/5): Not a welcome and not a smile. - The air conditioner was extremely noisy and kept kicking on and off and kept the room only marginally cool. The beds were fine, the bathroom as dirty, dust was very much in residence, the room smelled rather dirty, the office lights were off and there was no sign so finding the office was a challenge and we were checked in by a man who clearly does not understand what customer service means. Not a welcome and not a smile.
- Bette (6/5): - No thanks
- Ramil (2/5): - dirty bathtub.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Very Very Dirty. Should not be available for rent.
- Lee (4/5): - Had to ring the bell and wait about 3 minutes for a lethargic gentleman to hand me a card to fill in and ask did you pay? I said yes. He asked smoking or nonsmoking. I said smoking but received a nonsmoking room. He never once looked at a computer screen. The room was not dirty just not clean clean. Lack of towel. Just not all a room that costs that much should be. $20 more best Western across the parking area is twice the room.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Tv didnt work - TV didnt work. Staff made no effort to fix. Room was clean though
- Kristine (6/5): Awful - The window was broken and taped together! The toilet has cigarette ashes in it when I requested a non smoking room! The check out was disappointing due to I had to ring the door bell multiple times in order to even get someone to answer the “lobby” door! Just poor service and facility over all
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away from this place - The room was disgusting— smelled strongly like cigarette smoke, the walls were dingy, the bathroom floor was dirty, the comforters on the beds were stained, and the bathroom towels weren’t replaced from the last customer.
- Bethzaida (2/5): Never again - Very dirty the bathroom and sheets to bed were horrible . I only stood for 2 hrs. Gor rhere at 4 am
- 184jodyb (2/5): Dirty... - Found this place online, needed a room for a night with my family as my grandson was having surgery. Found the room with a nasty cigarette smell the minute I opened the door. Bathroom not cleaned at all. Toilet dirty...mirror covered with water spots with a film on it. The coffee pot was dirty and on the bathroom sink area that was also dirty. Not vacuumed. Checked the sheets and pillow cases to make sure they were clean. Good thing I brought my own cleaning supplies. Nothing like the pictures shown on their website. Not recommended.
- Shawn (2/5): - This location is in wny are was cold due to the fact the temperature wasn’t working the staff had to bring us a portable heater
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Easy check in. Convenient location. Nice clean room
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I needed to get away to stufy for midterms..upon check in, owner i assume? Was rude. The heater was very loud and would work, then not work. Toilet was broken. Room was mediocore at best. Not coming back.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We booked here due to cheapest price. It's very basic so it was fine, clean and pretty much what we expected.
- Donna (6/5): - The room could be cleaner. There was dirt under the sinks. In the corners. The tub was not as advertised.
The beds and linen were good.
The room was musty.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - So smelly.. and so old...
No breakfast. No elevator.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Place was closed, needed to go to Best Western lobby for help and employee was having issues registering keys to the hotel to get in
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Decently cleaned room, had no idea of my reservation, and charged me twice for my room never again going here
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Where do I start? The guy who checked us in was rude took long enough to get to office no shirt no shoes. The building is run down lights where out trash all over the grounds. Once we got up to the 2nd floor the carpet was ok but the hall way had windows with out screens, dead bugs all over, the wall paper was being held on with tape and peeling. The room was ehh there was hole in the ceiling from water leaking, the bed had stains on the comforter. The one bed had stains on pillows. The lamp shades where upside down and did not fit. The TV did not work as well the WiFi when you called front desk they did not answer or when they did they said sorry nothing we can do. The bathroom had hair on the toilet seat and the sink it the shower has hair on curtain and it was disgusting. Nothing was cleaned and there was dirt and food on the floor by the beds not vacuumed this place had 4 star rating out of 5 I think the staff did that to get people to stay. It was horrible stay and would not recommend to my worst enemy!!!
- Shannon (6/5): - The one staff person that was there wasnt very talkative or nice.. nothing was explained wasnt given wifi info or told about anything the hotel offered.. there was something gross growing under the desk in ny room.. stuff left in the hallways by staff and I was put on the 2nd floor when there was not many guests and i had 3 kids with me one of which was 5 months old I had to carry him and all his stuff up and down 2 flights of stairs my whole atay...
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was great no problems at all would recommend to everyone
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The TV was hard to find channels on and the door did not seal up tight wind came in around it
- Kimberly (2/5): Garbage - Room dirty, hallway smelled, trash from previous people in room. Not vacuumed.
- Valentina (10/5): Good stay - It was nice, good stay! Clean!
- Goliath13065 (6/5): just a place to sleep - Staying here for three nights while I was working at a nearby job just needed a place to rest my head it fit the bill for that but if it was anything more this place wouldn't even be good enough for the three stars because they never cleaned the rooms while I was there and it looks like they don't know how to use the attachments on a vacuum because there was chips and Cheetos all over the carpet underneath the beds NB heating system was just barely adequate but as far as resting my head it fit the bill although I should also say I only paid 50 bucks to stay there for a night so considering that like I said it fit the bill
- Verified traveler (4/5): Get what you pay for.... - The door to the first room we got was stuck shut. The room we eventually got into the carpet looked liked it hadn't been vacuumed and the sheets were on the bed inside out. At one point the toilet kept running so I had to get up and jiggle the handle. But if you are looking for the cheapest room to spend a night it can work, just don't expect much.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was musky smelling. Floor was dirty.Could hear next door people Reception person was very hard to understand. Very disappointed.
- Alison (4/5): - So weird. The lobby door was locked and there was a sign to ring the bell for assistance. I rang the doorbell and a man came to the door, in pjs, and wouldn't open the door. He asked me what I wanted. I held my phone up and showed him that I had reserved the room via Expedia. He then opened the door and had me fill out a registration card, handed me 1 key and left. There were 3 of us in the room, which I was charged an extra $10 for our 14 year old, and only 2 bath towels. This morning, I had to go back to the lobby and ask for more towels. Another man in pjs came to the desk. Seemed very motel like, not at all hotel. Conditioning shampoo in a small pouch. 2 plastic cups only. No way to get ice. No idea where the ice machine was located. Thought the reservation had a breakfast included, no idea where that was either. Will not stay there again.
