• Ramon (1/5): Segúna una vecina son unos estafadores habituales (todo presunto, claro) - Nada No estaban presentes las personas que debían darme la llave. El propietario no respondió a las llamadas ni los mensajes de wassap. Las personas encargadas de la entrega de llaves no aparecieron. Tenía un sistema de entrega por buzón electrónico que no utilizan. Una vecina nos indicó que es una práctica habitual de los propietarios y de las personas que entregan las llaves.
• Margarida (1/5): Horrível! Afastem-se desta propriedade - Nada! Uma falta de respeito pelos hóspedes, porque não respondem as mensagens, telefonemas e emails. Não havia ninguém para nos dar a chave! Não reservem este alojamento! Uma péssima experiência. Paguei o alojamento e não pudemos usufruir do mesmo, uma vez que os anfitriões não apareceram para nos dar as chaves ou o código de acesso às mesmas. Péssima experiência e penso que o “booking” não devia ter proprietários destes. Tive de ligar para o apoio ao cliente da booking, que após várias tentativas de contacto sem sucesso, cancelou a reserva. Total falta de respeito Como tinha feito a reserva e subscrito o seguro de cancelamento, o valor da reserva foi-me restituído, mas o valor do seguro não foi. Sinto-me enganada pelos proprietários, mas também pela booking
• Canto (1/5): - De nada porque quando chegámos para fazer o check-in, com a nossa reserva confirmada, a casa estava ocupada e não pudemos usufruir da nossa reserva. Tentámos contactar o proprietário de várias formas (todas as formas que nos são possíveis) e não tivemos nenhuma resposta, nenhuma explicação, nenhum pedido de desculpas, muito menos o nosso dinheiro de volta. Isto é no mínimo criminoso. Não gostei de ser vítima de uma fraude porque quando chegámos para fazer o check-in, com a nossa reserva confirmada, a casa estava ocupada e não pudemos usufruir da nossa reserva. Tentámos contactar o proprietário de várias formas (todas as formas que nos são possíveis) e não tivemos nenhuma resposta, nenhuma explicação, nenhum pedido de desculpas, muito menos o nosso dinheiro de volta. Isto é, no mínimo, criminoso.

• Pedro (1/5): A estadia foi marcada por total desrespeito e abandono por parte dos proprietários. - Nada! Fiquei profundamente indignado por não ter conseguido usufruir da estadia, depois de os proprietários nos deixarem cinco horas na rua, à chuva e ao frio, com a minha mulher e a minha filha. A falta de respeito foi evidente, já que nem sequer tiveram a consideração de nos contactar para resolver a situação. Uma experiência que deveria ter sido tranquila transformou‑se num enorme transtorno causado pela total irresponsabilidade dos donos da casa.

Two weeks later I still didn't receive any refund. Looks like I'll have to initiate the charge back process with my bank.

• Mário (1/5): Avoid this accommodation! Booking should not make business with this owner. - The house looks beautiful, from the outside. I am very disapointed with Castelo Cottages! There was nobody there to open the door or to give me the keys. There was no contact to give me the code for the door either. The owner simply doesen't care about their guests! There is no alternative way of contacting the owner for solving some sort of anomaly like this. I contacted the Booking customer support, and they tried to contact the owner several times, with no results. Booking refunded me for the money that I paid when making the reservation, and the people in the village were very kind and helped me to find na alternative accommodation there. What I find shocking are the comments from the people living in the village, saying things like: - "It's always the same thing!" - "There were several other people facing this same situation when making reservation with this owner, even families with small children... They don't show up, and you can't contact them in any way, and you have to solve the situation on your own!" It's a shame, because the house seems lovely (from the outside), and there are a lot of positive reviews from other guests...

• Roger (9/5): Cost cottage in a medieval village - Loved the range of amenities.. cooktop, oven, frig, TV, dining area, plus the back pao allowed us to see the stars at night! Warm bed, good bathroom, parking nearby, and an old picturesque chapel. .

• Guilherme (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location, lovely welcome pack, great to meet the owners father. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, the people nearby friendly and a great lace for tranquility. Difficult to gain access as mobility issues, but pointed it out with a request for a rail.
