• Bettina (10/5): Wären gerne länger geblieben - Alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, die ganze Unterkunft sehr ansprechend, gut aufgeteilt, sehr sauber. Der Kontakt vorab mit den Vermietern war auch sehr herzlich und persönlich.

Der Pferdehof war für uns perfekt, da unsere Töchter - Sehr gut Wir waren alleine im Guesthouse und somit hatten wir ein Häuschen fpr uns alleine. Wenn alles Zimmer belegt sind, dann ist die Küche und der Aufenthaltsraum eher klein. Wenn man due Gemeindchaft mit anderen sucht ist das perfekt. Wenn nicht, dann ist es wahrscheinlich nicht der richtige Ort.

We spent several hours with the staff in the pasture with the horses while they fed them in the field The breakfast was good but could have been a little more robust. There are chickens and scrambled eggs would have been great.

• Joanna (10/5): - Tolles Haus, gemütlich eingerichtet und sauber. Ruhige Lage in der Natur. Küche mit allem ausgestattet was man im Urlaub braucht . Frühstück wir schon bei Ankunft im Kühlschrank bereitgestellt. Es gibt sogar einen Raum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Alles war super.

• LAURA (8/5): - Posto bellissimo che ti fa sentire come a casa. Cè tutto che ti serve per avere un vero riposo. Il hot tub e molto conveniente. Stanze comodisime e non ostante la colazione no sia super abbundante c`e tutto cio che serve per fare un cibo salutare e buono. Ci sono soltanto due bagni e ci è capitato di essere tanti la mattina quindi abbiamo dovuto fare la fila.

Aree comuni in ordine e pulite La colazione che è compresa è self service, ma la cosa che non mi è piaciuta e che avrei specificato è che anche il cibo era in comune (vale a dire che ci sono confezioni di latte che magari sono già aperte da altre persone e non si sa da quanto tempo oppure dei piatti con formaggio e prosciutto, a cui tutti possono accedere)…personalmente non apprezzo che altre persone (che non conosco) possano toccare lo stesso cibo che potrei mangiare io. Inoltre, abbiamo fatto l’esperienza di un’ora con i cavalli e non ci è tanto piaciuta..c’è un fiume meraviglioso a pochi metri dalla Guesthouse, ma per ben 60 euro a testa il giro a cavallo è in tondo in un normalissimo campo vicino alla fattoria…non vale i soldi spesi

• Catherine (10/5): Comfortable accommodating stay - Roomy common area. Two tables with chairs are available. Showers were hugh, flat floor. Hot tub looked inviting, but did not use. Choice of self-service breakfast was good, enough for all guests. I was able to be a bit late checking out so I could shower after horse tour. No freezer, only refrigerator in common area.

• Henriette (7/5): Prima overnachtingslocatie voor je rondreis - Deze guesthouse was supermooi gelegen, op een prima locatie voor onze reis. Netjes, paardjes, een hottub in de achtertuin, er was een wasmachine, een vaatwasser en een mooie slaapkamer. Alles was selfservice. We zijn sowieso geen fan van gedeelde keuken en badkamers maar dat viel ons dus echt tegen bij deze locatie. Iedereen wilde tegelijk koken en in de badkamer zijn. Ook grensde onze slaapkamer aan de gedeelde keuken en woonkamer dus pas diep in de nacht was iedereen in rust en hadden wij ook geen last meer van pratende bellende mensen voor onze deur. Het selfservice ontbijt was ook niet heel uitgebreid en had oud brood (dat lag er de dag ervoor toen we aankwamen ook al)

• Jane (9/5): Pleasant guesthouse with shared bath and good kitchen facilities and hot tub! - Located a few kilometers north of Varmahlið on a horse farm, very nice guesthouse with 5 rooms and 2 shared baths. Extensive kitchen facilities. Breakfast was self served from refrigerator which worked well even with multiple guests. Showers warm, room decent size with comfortable beds. Hot tub outside was popular with all! Horse rides available for reservation on site. Owner had set everything up so never met him/her. Parking spaces fine. WiFi worked well. Would have been nice to meet owner but everything was set up well so not necessary.

• Stoker (9/5): Très bonne étape - Lit confortable, chambre assez spacieuse. 2 salles de bain communes propres et bien équipées. Cuisine bien équipée. 2 coins repas. Salle Tv. Machine à laver et sèche linge. Le spa protégé du vent. Une suggestion : les aliments pour le petit déjeuner (variés) sont mis en commun sur les étagères du frigo. Il serait souhaitable qu'ils soient séparés par chambre et selon le nombre d'occupants cela éviterait que certains consomment la quasi totalité des denrées disponibles comme cela nous est arrivé.

L’hôte m’a contacté gentiment pour s’assurer que nous avions reçu toutes les informations. Hot spot disponible. La chambre 1 est très proche de la laverie ce qui peut causer du bruit quand elle est utilisée tôt le matin.

Everything is new, beautiful, well furnished and comfortable! In addition to all kind of attentions for breakfast, hand towels... and with amazing horses! Deserve a 5 stars +++ Nothing

• Laura (9/5): Just as advertised - The bathrooms worked well and the room was spacious enough for my husband to use his wheelchair. Beautiful view and horses outside. Plenty in fridge to breakfast with and everything was clean. Other guests were respectful. Gravel outside extremely hard to manoeuvre with a wheelchair.

• Adele (10/5): This was our favorite guesthouse on our 2-week trip. Most well equiped kitchen too. - Wow, we loved this place!!! There was initially a mistake in our booking (we needed twin beds, not a double), so they kindly gave us two rooms. Kitchen was very well fitted out and we had fun making our dinner. Geothermal hot tub in the light rain surrounded by grazing horses. Met lovely people sharing the guesthouse. So much fun and so beautiful and clean!

Due bagni in condivisione con cinque camere ma curati e spaziosi. si effettua check in tramite codici forniti via messaggi e mail, nessuno della staff presente. La colazione scarsa. Nessuno dello staff per eventuali necessità/ spiegazioni e domande. La porta di ingresso si apre tramite codice, di notte sono arrivati altri ospiti disturbando chi già dormiva: hanno utilizzato la cucina, mangiato bevuto e parlato senza ritegno anche se siamo usciti chiedendo di fare più piano. Nessun proprietario cui rivolgersi!

Nous avons fait une balade sympa en famille avec une équipe à l'écoute et proche de leurs chevaux Le spa n'était pas en fonction mais nous avons vraiment apprécié notre nuit avec petit déjeuner inclus.

• T (8/5): - I love the decor and the "spa" like feel of the room and bathroom. Very clean, easy to find, quiet location. What I didn't like is the fancy blinds I couldn't figure out and had to place pillows in the window to block out the light. I also had an embarrassing morning with breakfast. Other guesthouses label the guesthouse food so you know what you can or cannot use. And it is understood if something is on a lower shelf or in a bag, it is not for general use. This guesthouse says yogurts, eggs, breads, etc available so I used that but it turned out to be someone else's food that was not labeled and was out in the middle of the refrigerator! This can easily be avoided with a label on the shelf for "guests".

• Lori (10/5): - We loved staying at this property! The quietness was lovely. The fridge was stocked for breakfast which was appreciated and the hot tub was wonderful after many days of hikes. The only small issue was trying to contact the property. I was not able to use my phone to call and the property does not respond to messages, but a wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend!

• Saskia (10/5): - Very nice guest house!☺️ We felt very comfortable. The house is cosily furnished, has everything you need and even a hot tub outside. There was food in the fridge which we used to prepare a delicious breakfast. I can well imagine that on clear nights you can see the northern lights very well.
• Einar (10/5): Comfy and good nights sleep! - Stayed one night only. Came in late and went early morning after. Very clean and comfy small room. Very quiet and good nights sleep. Cosy and lovely feel, as walking through grandmas house. Self service breakfast and coffee was very nice early in the morning. Enough choices for light breakfast. Had a nice chat with other guests, in the living room before departure :) Very homey feel. There was a hot tub and grill outside which we did not have a change to use, but looked nice. Environment beautiful with the winter sunrise in the morning.

• Vala (9/5): We were comfortable and happy with our stay. - Breakfast was self-serve which was good. There were plenty of clean towels and washcloths, cotton pads and buds. Bed was comfortable and felt clean. Black out curtains where good and mesh shutters in windows to keep flies and bugs out. And the room was very roomy with plenty of space to keep your belongins. The room temperature was set and you could not change it. For me it was a bit to hot for me during the night. I think also it would have been great to have more information available in the common area about the breakfast, the amenities, the hot tub etc. Also I asked for a twin room but got a double bed.

• Anna (10/5): Worth it! - Accomodation smells fresh & clean. There are extra towels in the bathroom, free coffee and tea. Hot tub with a view, if you like to take a warm bath. Water comes from a natural source via drill hole. Owner lives across the street and is available for further questions. You wake up to a stunning view ❤️.

• Steffen (4/5): Nie wieder - +der Hot Tub ist echt ein Traum +die Lage ist ländlich, man hat seine Ruhe +große Dusche -Frühstück war ein Reinfall, man muss es selber zubereiten und es war von der Auswahl der Lebensmittel schlecht -beim Großteil des Brotes war das MHD abgelaufen, viele Packungen waren angerissen und vermutlich schon älter -Küche extrem schmutzig: Dunstabzug keimig, Toaster schmutzig, Wasserkocher verkalkt, Geschirr und Besteck teilweise dreckig im Schrank, alter Kaffeesatz in der Kaffeemaschine -der WC Sitz im Gemeinschaftsbad ist defekt und wurde mit Klebeband nur notdürftig repariert -wir hatten leider Pech mit einem weiteren Gast, der hochgradig asozial war (kann bei einer Gemeinschaftsunterkunft natürlich immer passieren)
