Yo pienso que es mejor pagar 10-12 eur en plan bien, que 7 eur por un desayuno pobre., No lo recomiendo para nada. El desayuno. para lo que nos dieron nos hubieramos ido al bar.

No te recibe nadie, te envían un vídeo de cómo hacer check-in, en la habitación hacia frío (ese día en la calle había 1ºC) la habitación tiene un radiador de 4 módulos para unos 20m2, el baño tiene unos 8 módulos para unos 4 o 5 m2. El desayuno sencillo.

Am Telefon wird erwartet, dass man vor seiner Reise nach Spanien Spanisch lernt. Englisch wird nicht verstanden. Nachdem über WhatsApp ein Video zugespielt wird, weiss ich wo mein Zimmerschlüssel liegt. Danach werde ich angehalten mich online einzuchecken, mit all den Daten, welche ich zuvor bei booking.com bereits hinterlegte. Wellcome. In der Dusche Schimmel, an der Decke und an den Beckenrändern. Das Frühstück war frugal.

Lo peor ha sido no poder dormir ninguna de las noches debido a que es una vivienda muy antigua y se escucha todo. Gente subiendo y bajando, conversaciones de otras habitaciones....un cuadro vaya. El WiFi no iba y tuve que usar datos míos durante toda la estancia. El desayuno todo industrial excepto el pan y el café.

• Tony (8/5): Quiet clean hotel. - Nice quiet hotel, a few minutes walk from city centre.. Lovely and friendly old town, well worth a good wander around. Slightly overpriced, basic breakfast with packet cakes and toast. But in all honesty it was very comfortable and we were happy to be there.
• Chris (2/5): Ended up going to another hotel - As a motorcyclist, I liked that it was fine for us to park the bike on the property. It did mean riding through their footpath entrance, but it was wide enough even for our grand tourer. Nobody was there to check us in. It seems the owner has been called to Santander and would not return for at least 4 hours after we arrived. We arrived at 4.20pm. There was some initial confusion while we tried to contact the owner but we found our room key card and our room. The room was small but big enough for the two of us with our bike gear. The decor felt like they’d tried to modernise a little but it was a DIY job and so it was patchy in places. This was reflected around the common areas too. There was no water, kettle or other facilities in the room. I had to text the owner again and we were able to make a drink in the breakfast room. The toilet in our room didn’t flush properly. There was a broken small pipe coming out the side which leaked water and made a bubbling sound. The sink was small and the shower was weak. The owner offered to move us but with them still being at least 2 hours away they directed us to different hiding places where spare room key cards might be located. They weren’t sure what rooms the cards were for so I ended up walking around trying them on different rooms. During this I met one of the other guests who was locked out of his room - his key card stopped working and without any staff/owner he was effectively stranded without any of his belongings until they returned. I found a room eventually but it just felt tired. There was a smell of musty smoke which was being covered up by those scent sticks, but it just made a slightly sickening smell combination. This new room was in the basement, so had little natural light and it was smaller than our original room with an even smaller sink and confusing shower. Perhaps if the owner had been present things would have been better but we decided to find another hotel because we just didn’t feel comfortable.

• Timbo (10/5): A very comfortable stay thanks - It's an old house and a bit spooky looking but lovely inside. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable and the shower excellent. Managed to park the 4 motorbikes through the gate and inside the grounds. Nothing really. A short walk to town but that was quite nice on a pleasant evening.

• Russell (3/5): Poor - Convenient location. Staff was not present at location for check-in at 17:30. Had to be contacted by phone, with another facility guest helping to translate. If that guest had not helped, there is no way we could have checked in. Room was in a seperate building than the main facility, with tiny window, small fan, and no airflow. Room temperature was 29 degrees when we arrived. We ended up leaving and staying at another facility.

• DAVID (6/5): Comfortable & quiet accommodation - Stayed here for 2 nights on the way back home to UK from Southern Spain. Located in a nice quiet location a short walking distance to town which has good facilities and an abundance of restaurants and places to eat; there is a large well stocked supermarket close by. We were able to park our motorcycles securely on the fully enclosed front forecourt which was good. We stayed in a compact bedroom in the basement which had a very large comfortable bed with quality sheets and good pillows allowing a good nights sleep. The room also had a very large, TV which we could watch films in English by pressing the ‘change language’ button. Breakfast was simple: toast, coffee, jam orange drink (not juice) and small cakes which was fine for me as I don’t eat big breakfasts. Be aware that this is in all honesty a B&B and not a hotel as there is no bar or communal areas to relax an is only staffed in the morning for breakfast so nothing to eat or drink at the property in the evening. The hosts were charming and helpful but, with every honest review, there are a few minor observation to comment on; the Spa was not in operation which is a shame and should have been mentioned as this was a facility that attracted us to this accommodation and we would have used after a long days riding in the Picos mountains, and the fact that it is really a B&B I felt the price slightly high compared to other places we stayed on our 3 week road trip. If the spa was in operation I would definitely stay again

• Lynn (8/5): Nice place. - Anna was very helpful and kind. The room was clean. The location was perfect for going to the train station early in the morning. It was easy to find and a quiet area. Nobody present to check us in and the key didn’t work. We had to do all communications over the phone or email. Bathroom was tiny. We are 5’10” and 6’3” so our feet hung off the bed.
• Ged (8/5): Good overnight stay. Prior info could be better - Good value for the cost. Very comfortable bed, high end bathroom and a tasty continental breakfast. Was disappointed that the spa wasn't open despite being advertised as such, and advanced arrival details would have been helpful.

Nada más llegar nos dijeron que el spa no funcionaba porque lo estaban reformando. Nos dieron una habitación que no funcionaba la tele, así que nos cambiaron a otra. La ducha estaba llena de rastros de óxido y suciedad, la papelera contenía restos del huésped anterior, salia un olor a cañeria horroroso, de hecho habia in ambietador para disimular el olor. Pero lo peor fué que se filtraba una corriente de aire a traves de la ventana, que apesar de que la calefacción estaba a Tope, hacía un frío horrible. Tanto es así que mi mujer durmió con una chaqueta de lana y bufanda y yo acabé resfriado. Decidimos abandonar el establecimiento antes de tiempo, incluso perdiendo el dinero pagado. Nos ofrecieron cambiarnos de habitación otra vez, pero ya habíamos tenido suficiente.

Contact was difficult for us as the emails were in Spanish and I’m not a fluent speaker and the contact telephone number was not working On arrival there was no one to obtain a room key from if it hadn’t been for very helpful guests who helped us with contacting the owner we may have needed to find another place to stay

• Jaremko (3/5): Couldn’t wait to leave! - Comfy bed We weren’t met at reception. Room keys were left out for us to find in the hallway with our name on, among other guests room keys. At no time were we asked for I.D. or passports. The property was left unlocked, and felt unsecured, anyone could walk in. Room below ground level felt like a dungeon, dark and depressing, as was access to it. The property was poorly furnished.

Also had a lift which was a pleasant surprise Nice bedding Reception was not open at time stated but keys were left for you. Luckily one of the couples arriving at the same time as us rang the reception number and was advised where to find the keys. We would have been stumped otherwise. Also we could find our room easily but two other couples could not. Where to find room numbers should be displayed in hall.

And I spent 30 years in the British forces. - did not see a member of staff the whole time I was there and I needed assistance. vagrants entered the property in the early hours and slept in the corridors, I was unable to sleep at all for fear of them entering my room.
