- Jane (10/5): - What more can I say about Cygnet. Can’t wait to come back. We been travelling for three weeks and Huon Valley is a must on everyone list. We stayed in Cygnet Old Bank. Our room was large and very cosy this time of year. A lot of produce also around the area.(Yum)
- Therese (8/5): - Lovely large room with ensuite.
We arrived around 4.30pm which was right on closing time. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Convenient for an overnight stay. Dining options are limited in the area.
Our stay included breakfast but the menu is limited.
I read you can order a meal from the dining options but you need to give a few hours notice and it’s left in the fridge in the dining room.

- Leanne (10/5): - The room we had was so beautiful. Although the bathroom was across the hall, it was only ours. Very private and secure for our own toiletries.
We could not believe how comfortable and safe we felt in our first B&B experience.
The inclusive breakfast was amazing. Choice on private menu and the coffee was perfect.
We will definitely be back.
- Shaun (10/5): - A beautiful historic building in the middle of town with plenty of dining options nearby. The room was immaculent and very roomy.
With over 5 weeks traveling this lodging was at the top of the group.
- Linda (8/5): - Comfortable and convenient. Small tv, could do with a touch up in some areas. A lot of bird droppings and cobwebs on outer building.
- David (10/5): - A very comfortable bed and breakfast with a very good café attached which ensures a lovely choice of high-quality breakfast
- Eliza (10/5): - Wonderful stay, right in middle of Cygnet but not noisy. Lovely cafe for breakfast & lunch downstairs, bed was so comfy.
- sandra (10/5): - Luxurious comfort down to last detail, including fresh flowers in a vase.
Internal stairs during day, external stairs at night was a negative - if raining.

- Teri (8/5): Easter night stay. - Clean, beautifully decorated and a comfy bed. Had to leave before breakfast unfortunately.
- Trish (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful! The Old Bank has been restored to the highest standard and was extremely comfortable. The food downstairs is phenomenally good, in fact the food and shopping in Cygnet is all top class, we were beyond impressed.
- Brenton (10/5): Great stay in Cygnet - We had a great 3 night stay in Cygnet. The room was very comfortable and the cafe was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

- Louise (10/5): - Beautiful B&B with attention to detail. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The room spacious and beautifully decorated. Comfortable king size bed. Nice bathroom with big shower. Lovely atrium down stairs for breakfast.
- Neville (10/5): - We loved our night at the Cygnet Old Bank, the whole experience from the start was welcoming and friendly, the room so comfy and spacious, we would highly recommend.
- Leigh (8/5): - A lovely old building beautifully appointed. Comfortable bed and good shower. The rooms have their own bathroom but it is across the hall from the room. Being an old building it is not suitable for people with mobility issues - lots of stairs. The cafe downstairs is open every day and food and coffee is good. Staff are friendly.
- Amali (10/5): - Friendly staff and nice break
- Janet (10/5): An absolute gem - I was so well looked after from the start until the end of my 3 night stay. All of the cafe staff and employees are incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were divine and proximity of such a lovely cafe is a real treat. My room and bathroom were beautiful- the bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens top shelf. I was very comfortable. I went for a compkete switch off and this was certainly what i was able to do.
- Marion (10/5): - Beautifully preserved building, a lot of attention to detail in the rooms and with cleaning which is faultless and not something I come across even in 5 star hotels. It just is so relaxing and the cafe garden is gorgeous.
- Frank (10/5): - Great service and lovely building
- Danny (10/5): - All of the above
- Andrew (10/5): - Lovely friendly staff. Quiet rooms and good food/coffee.
- Kristie (6/5): - For the price, a bathroom across the hall and no cleaning is not ideal. Our room wasn’t touched on the second day and we washed our own cups and glasses to reuse. “Complimentary” coffee/tea facilities in the room were lesser than a motel. A B&B by definition is a bed and breakfast. Meaning, breakfast is included. Not a $20 voucher per person towards breakfast. The cost of the menu did not allow a simple meal and coffee to be covered by the voucher.
Nice enough room but not worth the money. Pleasant staff.
- Karen (8/5): - A clean and pleasant place to stay.
- Stephen (10/5): - A small boutique hotel with a great cafe. Comfortable rooms with an excellent team working there. They are super friendly and really make your stay with them a pleasure.
- Debra (10/5): - Such a beautiful place to stay. Room was really lovely. Breakfast delicious.
- Joshua (10/5): - Outstanding B&B. Great staff, great location and excellent food.
- Lucinda (10/5): - Hullo
The accommodation is lovely and comfortable. The only gliche we had was that the after hours door could not be closed, which was an access issue after hours. Also safety concern.
Everything else was wonderful and the staff friendliness was exceptional.
Thankyou
Lucinda
- Leanne (10/5): - Beautifully decorated rooms with a very handy location. Parking on premises. Was surprised on arrival only 1 room had an ensuite bathroom. The other had a bathroom across the hall. I feel this should be mentioned in the listing. However, we loved our stay. The staff were lovely. Cafe downstairs had the best coffee take a walk through the town….it’s delightful. 5 stars!!
- Pen (10/5): - Very friendly staff, lovely space, very comfortable bed and warm room. Excellent location.
- Rebecca (8/5): - Lovely property & fantastic staff
- Eoin (10/5): - A hidden gem. Clean, quiet, comfortable and perfect breakfast. And part of a very interesting town steeped in history.
- Mark (10/5): - Very friendly reception great food and atmosphere
- Eugene (8/5): Quaint B&B. - The Old Bank hotel is along the Highway towards Huonville. Quite easy to find. It is part of the cafe and a arts and craft shop. The room we stayed in is compact yet pleasantly decorated and fully stocked with essential amenities. Certainly worth staying there again if opportunities arise.
- Jannell (10/5): - Beautiful old world charm in this B&B which is an old bank building. Meticulously clean and the owner went out of her way to make us welcome. We ordered a platter from the cafe which was set up for us in the most beautiful dining room and we had it all to ourselves.
- kerrianne (10/5): - Beautiful room great service and food at the cafe would definitely stay there again
- Douglas (10/5): - Delightful in every way: friendly staff, great cafe attached, perfectly private and safe in a heritage building, really special tiny town to explore and just a pleasant walk away from Port Cygnet and water views. Wonderful people. Thank you
