• John (10/5): - Briviesca is a small jewel of a town. The Isabel is right in the centre of the old town. Great area to walk round, very historic. Some great local bars and tapas for a couple of weary travellers. The hotel is well run and offers clean and comfortable rooms. Has a separate lounge, which we didn't try. As it was early in the season the restaurant was closed. However, lots of other places with a 100m of the front door.

Wat ik wel nog kwijt wil is dat ik van Booking.com een compensatie vergoeding kreeg aangeboden. Ik heb daarvoor een factuur van mijn alternatieve verblijf opgestuurd. Ik kreeg toe een bericht retour dat een “nul” factuur nodig was. Ik heb toen de factuur inclusief pinbon per e-mail verzonden, omdat ik de claim niet opnieuw kon indienen, omdat deze al eerder was ingediend… Daarop kreeg ik geen reactie. • Iago (9/5): Excelente hotel - Está en pleno centro, la recepcionista muy amable y las habitaciones están muy bien. Para una habitación con dos camas, solo había una mesilla de noche central ocupad la mitad ya por el teléfono y una sola toma de corriente en la zona de los cabeceros de cama.

• Angel (8/5): An overnight village. - If you're looking for a place to rest for a night when you're travelling, you won't find a more convenient place. It is a hotel in the heart of the village and offers parking (much appreciated). There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are plenty in the surrounding area. The staff are quite friendly and are sure to advise you on the best place to dine. The room was quite comfortable and spacious and what I liked best, very clean. It was not possible to book breakfast in advance, in fact you could see different prices on booking and on the hotel website, (the cheapest on booking). The breakfast is normal, coffee, toast (or croissant) and an extremely small glass of fresh orange juice. Maybe with the previous price of 4,5€ it was ok, but with the new price of 6€, in my opinion it's not worth it. I don't doubt you'll find a better option on weekdays, but not many at weekends.

• Kevin (8/5): Nice Hotel - Check in process was a little confusing as no one onsite when we arrived and phone to call was not answered. But once contact was made everything was fine. Room was comfortable and ver clean. We were travelling a small dog which was not a problem and there was not charge for her 😁

• Isabel (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent welcome, room and bathroom, even if a little outdated. Centrally located, with safe parking only a short walk away. Great tapas bar nearby. Breakfast was very good. Definitely much more than a 2 star.
• Carlos (8/5): Very good stay in the heart of Briviesca! - I'm returning guest so I knew exactly what to expect. Excellent room (upgraded), complete amenities, comfy bed, clean towels and beddings, strong wifi, cleanliness, parking and very friendly staff. Regular breakfast provided at attached coffee shop. In low season the AC is turned off which didn't makes difference due to low temperatures.
• Steve (7/5): Short stop - Staff were pleasant. Secure parking round the back. Nice looking room and bathroom. AC didn't work and the room just got hotter and hotter. Open the window if you like bugs in your room. Memory foam, sausage pillow wasn't great and you can't flip it unless you wake the mrs. The "onsite bar" n the pictures is not a bar. It's for breakfast.

• Louise (10/5): Immaculate and Friendly Budget Hotel - This place is IMMACULATE. I have never been anywhere cleaner. The rooms are not the most modern but it’s upkeep is something else. I have been in 5* hotels that are worse. The welcome from the reception was lovely and she walked me to the parking which was a bit tricky to find. Altho once you have found it the place is well signed and they did send me instructions when I booked so they did try. Once behind the secure electric gates it is level and well paved. The bed was so comfy I slept in. The town in which it is located has seen much better days unfortunately but the town is at the bottom of a beautiful set of roads up to Santander. It was well worth spending the night here so I was fresh to enjoy the wonderful ride on my motorbike to Santander.

Alles war sauber und landestypisch geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich und um unser Wohl sehr bemüht. Das Hotel liegt in einer Fußgängerzone - die dazu gehörigen Parkplätze gerade um die Ecke. Alles nicht sehr weit von der Autobahn entfernt, deshalb für Übernachtungen auf der Durchfahrt geeignet.
