• Aleksandar (10/5): Spacious, clean, and cozy stay with a wonderful host and a beach within walking distance. - A very clean, comfortable, and spacious room with private parking and a cozy garden sitting area in the yard. The host, Ivana, was extremely friendly and happy to help with restaurant and beach recommendations—such a communicative and pleasant person to talk to! The beach is just a 10–15 minute walk away. Everything was great—we really have no complaints.

El nostre lavabo estava fora de l'habitació tot i ser privat perquè així ho havíem contractat. És una mica molest a l'hora de sortir de la dutxa o a la nit al anar al wc que el meu company em va despertar perquè s'ha d'obrir amb la clau l'habitació, després el lavabo... Crec que només era la nostra habitació i les altres tenen els lavabos dins.

• Sarah (10/5): - The pictures do not do this pansion justice. It was authentically pretty - truly lovely. Ivana is the perfect hostess - friendly and helpful. The room had a useful fridge, kettle and a few items of crockery. We were able to have muesli and yoghurt for breakfast in the room (or sat downstairs in the beautiful shared courtyard). Air con was amazing and a life saver as it was extremely hot even through the night. Perfect private bathroom - top tip - I took a thin lightweight dressing gown which was very useful as the bathroom wasn't connected to the room. The pansion is literally a 10 min walk from the town centre. Bol is fabulous - smaller and easier than Hvar Town. Another 10 mins east takes you to the most lovely shingle/pebbly small beaches where I sat on my towel with my feet in the sea! The famous Zlatni Rat beach was a very pleasant 20 min walk in the other direction - this was very busy but we got there before 10am to grab a nice spot. We very much enjoyed the Wed night fisherman festival - ate great fish street food and danced to some fairly dodgy but fun live music. Overall I loved my stay with Ivana in the beautiful village of Bol. Nothing

La casa tiene una terraza, muy bien cuidada y a la sombra, que se agradece con la calor y sol de estas fechas La mayor pega es que para llegar hay que subir una pequeña cuesta y con las maletas y calor...

The room was comfortable and had what I needed (including air conditioning; it was so hot while I was there.) Ivana was friendly and helpful. It is stressful to drive in and out of there on the narrow street with few good passing places. Even pulling out of the yard to park can be a bit tight. Ivana helped thankfully when I was leaving.

• David (10/5): Straight out of Momma Mia - This is an excellent place to stay in Bol, on a quiet side street in the historic area, a short walk to the waterfront restaurants and shops. There are a few sterile modern “resort” hotels in Bol, but staying with Ivana and Ivan in part of their stone family home is far superior. Our rooms were up steps and included a full kitchen, private covered patio, and garden. Bol is a delightful mix of local activity (fishing, wine and olive oil making, historic sites, small grocery stores, friends meeting for coffee) and tourist services (restaurants, shops, tour boats). The active waterfront serves the small boats of local residents, classy yachts, and small tour boats. There are several excellent gravel beaches on the crystal clear Adriatic within walking distance. With a car, there are numerous picturesque villages worth spending a few days exploring on the mountainous island of Brac. This was our second visit to Croatia and Bol is our favorite.

Ivana was welcoming and very helpful. The property is uphill from the port which wouldn’t be good for those with limited mobility.

• Paula (7/5): Nice, comfortable stay. - The host was so lovely and welcoming. She let us drop our bags early and had the apartment ready for us before the check in time. We were also informed we could use the washing machine if we wished. The apartment was large with its own private patio area. The apartment had good air conditioning and had many amenities in the kitchen for dining. The bathroom was well equipped with all you would need. The location is very quiet which is great for getting a good night sleep. The bed was fine, wasn’t uncomfortable but could be better. The apartment has ants, which may not be a big deal to some, but we did not cook here for that reason. The location is at the top of a steep hill, not necessarily a bad thing but useful for people to know.

There is a parking space available free of charge. The room was clean and comfortable, including fridge and kettle. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the port, restaurants, and supermarkets. The beach promenade is about a 10-minute walk away. You really don’t need a car to get around Bol. Ivana is such a nice host, offering recommendations and tips to ensure the best experience on Brač island. The family produces olive oil, wine, and spirits — I highly recommend tasting and purchasing these as authentic gifts.

They answered all mu questions and gave me some inputs what to see. Ivana had birthday on October 5th and she invited all guests for a drink and birthday cake. Room is perfectly clean and looks the same as in the photo. It was sunny, seaside coast is beautiful, restaurants are great with great prices. Beaches and sea are clean. Sea has turquoise color. Bar at Golden horn beach is also amazing. /
