• gaelle (9/5): Bon rapport qualité prix - L'emplacement Nous sommes restés 3 nuits et malgré notre demande de faire la chambre le deuxième jour, rien n'a été fait. Obligé de demander un mini bouteille d'eau pour deux, le savon et le papier toilette.... Bref la légalisation du cannabis n'a pas que du bon 😅

• Sergio Dantas (6/5): Nice large room and veranda but tired furniture makes it very out of date. - Very nice lady welcomed me to the accomodation. It is nearby the beach, restaurant and bars. Large room with a nice veranda. Room is large but furniture is old and feels more like clutter than what's actually necessary. Open showers, which is very common in Thailand maskes the bathroom pretty messy.

• Richard Michael (9/5): partying it up on Lamai - I really liked the balcony and that it was close to great restaurants and bars. I also like the lady manager, because she was very nice, friendly and very helpful. The chairs in the room were very, very uncomfortable. They really need to change them.

• Ulrich (7/5): A good choice - Good location, relatively central, a bit off the main road but mostly quiet at night.Wi-Fi upstairs isn't particularly strong. the room is pleasingly large with storage options Wi-Fi upstairs isn't particularly strong.
• Hone (10/5): - Super friendly staff, daily cleaning offered. Prime location in lamai with everything within walking distance but the accom is tucked down a side street with minimal noise. Highly recommend! Room is as pictured and is not a luxury resort, which the price reflects. Very good value

• Ashley (8/5): Worth what you pay. Would definitely recommend. - For the amount we paid for this guest house, I cannot compliment it enough. The space in the room, the balcony, the smart tv (not a lot of places we stayed had a usable tv as they were all Thai, understandable, but it was nice to be able to put some music on). The location was fabulous and the staff were lovely. Yes it’s dated but for less than £15 per night for 2 people I really don’t have any complaints at all!

• Cleo (5/5): We had initially booked accommodation from hell so this was a satisfactory upgrade. The room itself was clean, and in a - Clean comfortable bed and room with nice balcony view with a fridge and some kitchenware ( no kettle) Bathroom was falling apart and wasn’t cleaned, still had old soaps from previous guests and sink was dirty with soap scum too. Shower holder wasn’t attached to the wall and the toilet leaked Blanket on bed had a cigarette hole in it and you could tell it hadn’t been washed

• Michael (8/5): Very good - Clean towels and room clean every two days. Sheets changed every six days. Great location with regards the lamai night market and the beach. Hosts responded to all my concerns rapidly. Very rough seas compared to other beaches. Lots of flotsam, jetsam and even oil compared to other beaches. Lamai beach would be the worst beach that I have seen in Thailand.

This could be because I could stay in my lovely room, smoke on the balcony, walk anywhere and anywhere, rent a motorbike across the road and eat across the road for less than £5 the most excellent thai dishes as well as eggs and ham toast etc....and the grass is excellent and available 24Hhrs. Nothing

• Philippa (8/5): Fab for travellers on a budget! - Samui guest house is in a fab location if you want somewhere quiet at night but still within walking distance of the night market and restaurants! Aircon was fab. The room was quite dated, and could do with a bit of a refurb but for the price you pay it’s absolutely acceptable! We didn’t seem to receive housekeeping so it was difficult to get fresh amenities like toilet paper but we just bought some when we needed it

The beach is just past the night market, and it’s within proximity of anything you really need to get to within Lamai. Plus the smoke shop is open 24 hours if you’re looking for that.. so.. it’s overall very accommodating.

• Peter (7/5): Good - Comfy bed large very clean room with balcony fridge and kettle cup glasses plates n cutlery . Clean fluffy towels pillows and bedding were comfy and clean Powerful hot shower. Walking 2 mins to lamai center... TV was 20 years old and didn't work. Fan made a click and didn't work. Air con was on full blast at 23d controls didn't work had to switch on and off at fuse board in room. Room full of living room display cabinets oddly ..

Cars, vans, vehicules parking in hotel yard with running engine! Noise, pollution!!! Why do they not switch off their engine???? Too difficult? Fuel too cheap? Bathroom needs repairs: water-leaks, water drainage at the wash-basin. Some light bulbs not working (terrasse...) TV: not working. It would be better to remove TV, in order not to loose time with working? or not working? (not especially here, the same in many hotels) No safe for valuables. In street: Very loud shoutings from publicity vans for boxing contest in Chaweng.
