• Maribel (6/5): Not the best - The property is well located, a few blocks from the center and not far from restaurants. It has a swimming pool that we didn’t use, but it becomes handy. The beds are comfortable. Some rooms have almost no ventilation, there were small windows and the smell wasn’t good. One afternoon we wanted to rest and have a nap after swimming but it was impossible because there were very loud construction works, like drilling. Nobody had told us about it and when we complained they said it was the owner who decided that and that the works would continue the next morning.

Much of the noise came from the clubs that are close to the water, but there were late-night staff that were also a source of noise - watching TV or talking directly outside my room.

La limpieza y el estado del baño no fue la mejor, había mucho moho tanto en las paredes como en la cortina del baño, en algunas partes de la habitación también había, creo que es algo en la que podrían mejorar para hacer la estancia mejor.

• Nuno (10/5): Amazing location, staff and stay!!! - The location is 10/10, is very close to everything, so you can walk at night in the center listen music and enjoy the city center easily. The accommodations were very good also. But the best was the staff without a doubt, Angel received us very well, he kept our luggage for the day because we arrive very early and had things to do, very kind! And Manuel was amazing!!! He recommended the best place we ate in town, recommended places to go and helped us to rent a moto so we could go around the island. Without both of them our stay would not be the same, they were super kind and helpful all the time!! :))) I would definitely stay here whenever I came back to Cozumel!

• Margareta (7/5): Great location - The hotel was a great choice for us. The staff was very nice, location was fantastic, close to the center. Unfortunatel, the water pressure was super weak and cold. However, it was almost impossible to shower with just a few drops that we could get from it :)

Now there is a construction site nearby and the mattresses are too soft for me. But good value for the price, very friendly staff!

Pillow was the best ever, I am buying a new pillow when I get home! Kids loved having a dip in the pool. Great ice cream place round one corner and great breakfast round the other corner. We only stayed one night to get a bit more time in Cozumel with our young kids (were had our main holiday in Playa) and it was perfect. Quiet location. Nothing.

The room was not so fresh. We first got a room with a pungent mold smell. The hotel staff got us another room that did not smell as bad but the smell was still there. Very unpleasant and unhealthy.

• Barbara (9/5): Nice hotel - Large room, large bathroom with hot water. The room and the premises were cleaned well, so was the pool. The ferry dock is close and it is very near to the downtown pedestrian area. Free drinking water. A lot of the staff doesn't speak english. A kitchen would have been great. We had a fridge in our room, but it was extremely loud - we had to plug it off when we were in the room and only turned it on when leaving.
• Essi (7/5): Decent accommodation, good beds and pillows. - The room was large and there was a separate space for clothes. The shower had good pressure! The room and common areas could have been a little more comfortable. I would have appreciated coffee, which is often included in accommodation.

• Deanna (9/5): The most beautiful gem of a hotel and the most wonderful staff in all of San Miguel. - The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the check-in/out process was the easiest I’ve ever had. We loved the pool and common areas as well as the central location. You can’t beat the price for such a beautiful gem in the center of the city. There was cold AC, comfortable beds and tons of great restaurants within a couple minutes of walking. The area was a bit noisy, but it was in the city center so to be expected and it didn’t keep any of us from sleeping. One of the rooms had a bit of a smell, but it went away after we ran the AC for a few minutes and one of our rooms had low water pressure.

• Raquel (8/5): Nice place with a good environment - The staff was very friendly and the wi-fi worked properly. The property was on a calm street yet it was close to everything. The room was spacious and clean. The ac in the room generated a sub-bass when hitting the wall, which made so much noise that you couldn't keep it on at night. The fridge also had a big crackling sound, like a fuse was going out, every couple of minutes. The pool got a little dirty during the afternoon, when they turned off the motor, but it wasn't that bad.

• Kristi (8/5): Great place, great people and a great deal! - Hotel Caribe was is a great location. Conveniently located an easy walk from the downtown activities and lots of great food. The staff was great and really friendly. The enclosed courtyard and private parking for our rental were better than expected. On-site 24 hour staff and the gates to the parking area were secured at night. There was decent water pressure and hot water in the mornings and evenings. The outside clothes drying area made cleaning our dive gear and drying everything so easy. On our next stay we will definately book Hotel Caribe. There was no hot water in the middle of the day when we returned from diving.

All of the staff was truly amazing!! Manuel, Vivian and Miguel at the front desk; Rayna and Laura - cleaning and Antonio with maintenance were so great! Manuel was helpful with every little thing requested and made us feel like part of the family 💕 Our room was at the end by the road. Sometimes was noisy from the traffic. Sometimes didn’t have hot water in the shower.

I would say for us a mini split with low speed fan..kind of a petty thing but ours ran full speed or control didnt work...but all and all we were happy.

Basic room but very clean and a nice pool. Good shower and internet. Staff friendly and professional, all excellent Sheets were threadbare and very old/used. But perfectly clean. Expect basic plain accommodation and you won't be disappointed

• Neidi (8/5): Good location, but need cleaning - Good location, 5-10 minutes walk to ferry terminal or city center. Room for 4 people had almost no places to but our stuff/clothes. One place to hang youd clothes, but only 6 hangers. Las night my hobby got bitten by some bugs, so he had bitten marks a week later and they where. We did see no cleaning lady for the 3 night we stayd, even if we but the sighn please clean on our door as we were told.

• Katharina (9/5): Nice location in the heart of Cozumel’s city center - Location is great, very close to the water and the center. Very quiet as well and room was clean (some stains on the sheets but nothing disturbing). The staff was very helpful and nice. There’s a small pool area and the possibility to wash/hang your clothes to dry. Big plus was the provision of drinking water. The rooms are very basic and spartan. Nothing really to complain about but maybe some feedback to make the rooms look a bit more comfortable.
