• Christine (1/5): Appalling! Not fit for rental. - Absolutely nothing This is to advise that I had to leave this accommodation 2 nights early 25 & 26 March) due to the following reasons: 1) the ground floor within the apartment and especially in the main bedroom (only bedroom on this floor) stank of drains. And dampness. Both the bathroom and the bedroom had dehumidifiers in them which were obviously there because of the damp atmosphere and moisture in the air. At 1am, I had to leave that bedroom and use the one downstairs. 2) the only bedroom downstairs in the basement, also had a damp smell about it and there was a dehumidifier in both the bathroom and the room. It was like being in a cave underground. 3) it was untenable to sleep in either bedroom and especially as I have a health issue in such a damp atmosphere. I did not sleep a wink all night. 4) It is to be noted that this apartment is not fit for habitation and should not be let out. 5) I looked everywhere for an iron and ironing board but none to be found. There was a notice saying they were in the small courtyard outside, but they were not. 6) The small courtyard had a blocked drain and the smell emanating from that was very unpleasant within the Kichen area. It became so impossible to stay that I had to make a new reservation elsewhere in Florence, at 3:30 in the morning on 25 March, just to make sure I had something to go to the following night, as it was absolutely not possible to stay in such an apartment and atmosphere. I have not put a review about the apartment yet, but I will be doing so, especially if I do not have some recompense for the two nights: 25 & 26 March 2026, that I am not in the apartment. • Deborah (10/5): Wow! If you can book this, do it! - Such a treasure - 16th century apartment, furnished amazingly. Everything so well explained, and the location was perfect.
• Stuart (7/5): - There was no breakfast, but the coffee and condiments were appreciated. It is clear the owner went to a lot of effort to make us comfortable. The location is excellent….couldn't be better. It is right on the Santo Spirito Square, which is the only square in Florence (that I saw!) that has trees, a beautiful Basilica, a fountain, and tables for eating and drinking. A wonderful respite from a day’s touring! The smell in the apartment is what made me give this apartment only a good rating. Even thought the owner had many incense sticks around, as well as plug-in scents, nothing took away the unpleasant odor. I slept with the windows opened which helped, but didn’t reduce the odor. Even though I like the apartment VERY much this would keep me from staying there again. The other things that could be improved: the lack of response to our needs. My friend was in the downstairs bedroom and was quite cold. He requested someone help him turn on the heat but no one ever came. Via the phone they tried to tell him how to do it, but he couldn’t figure it out. We needed and requested more than 2 sets of towels for the two weeks we were there, and it would have been nice to get a clean set of sheets as well. No one brought anything. It is a very good price for the location and apartment, and if they can fix the odor problem I would give it top rating.

• Concolino (1/5): - La posizione Pulizia assente. L'appartamento viene proposto molto luminoso e pulito, in realtà è un tugurio sporco e polveroso. Negli armadi abbiamo trovato persino indumenti personali lasciati lì.
• Zachmann (10/5): Wish we stayed a few more days in this lovely home. - Cozy, comfortable, clean, unique, spacious. Loved the artwork and decor. Loved the location … church and market, lots of shops in the square. Great coffee shop … bars. Easy walk over the bridge to downtown Florence. Everything is labeled … so helpful in locating lights. LOVED THESE ACCOMMODATIONS! Some people might think it was a noisier area … it didn’t bother us at all.
• Craig (10/5): An amazing place and lots of room . Two full bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms along with 2 living rooms and a kitchen with - Location is amazing- 10min walk from most sights The main bathroom- you could smell the drains at different points of the day and night .
• Mariia (10/5): Всё было великолепно 👌🏼🫶🏻 - Очень понравилось расположение апартаментов, на оживлённой площади, где каждый вечер собирается много людей. Окна гостиной как раз выходят на площадь, при закрытых окнах практически не слышно гул, стоящий на улице. В спальнях совсем ничего не слышно, что гарантирует комфортный сон👌🏼. Вообще апартаменты очень необычные, я влюбилась в созданную атмосферу владельцем😍, необычная планировка, хочется всё рассматривать, ощущаешь себя в средневековом замке👍🏻. Для проживания есть всё необходимое, можно спокойно готовить, гладить, стирать и т.д. Достаточно чисто, но не стерильно конечно))), однако претензий к чистоте постельного белья и полотенец нет, всё белоснежное👏🏻. Нас встретил приятный молодой человек - Оскар, который всё показал и рассказал нам👍🏻😉. Спасибо за комфортное проживание, нам всё понравилось, обязательно будем рекомендовать данные апартаменты и по возможности с радостью вернёмся🫶🏻 Всё понравилось 👌🏼

• Leonid (6/5): - Overall a very unique home, pretty clean, but close to a bar that is loud into the night and a bit too much moisture in the house! We enjoyed our stay in Florence but this place was not the best highlight. The location is excellent though!
• Scott (9/5): Great vibe and great location!!!! - Santo Spirito Dream I will begin by saying we loved the apartment and if we are lucky enough to return to Florence, we would stay here again! As an overview, the apartment is large and spacious. We are a family of four with two adult daughters (21 and 18) and had plenty of space. It is on the ground floor which is an amazing benefit in Italy as we did not have to worry about bringing luggage up flights of stairs. When you enter the apartment there is a large family room and tv. It is really nice. Beyond the family room is the laundry room (great washer/dryer) and refrigerator. We used the washer a bunch. Next is the master. It has a memory foam comfortable queen or small king sized bed (hard to tell exactly how large). We liked the bed and size of the room. The master has its own bathroom. It’s interesting as the toilet/bidet is on one side and the shower and sink are on the other. Both baths worked flawlessly. Thumbs up. Beyond the master is a stairway downstairs, then the dining room (small) and kitchen (small). Both are practical and nice, just small. Downstairs is another bedroom w a queen. Our girls seemed to like it. Additionally, there is a bathroom which also worked well. No issues or complaints. Finally, another family room. Large, inviting, and comfortable. I believe one of the couches converted into a bed. As great as the apartment is, the location is better (in our opinion). About a twenty minute walk from the train station (a bit too far for us w luggage) but easy to get to. About a ten minute walk to Ponte Vechiaa. Better still, the apartment is part of a large square. There are restaurants and bars next door, and out front. Literally next door. And the area is very lively and busy. Lots of young people (think college students) eating and drinking and chilling. Some music and energy in the evening (until 2am). During the days there are markets and entertainment. Super cool vibe.
• Alejandro (8/5): - We stayed two nights in this apartment. It was very nice, decorated in a very Florentine way, it is extremely spacious, located in an area with many restaurants and very local. Definitely a perfect apartment for a large family. The only two issues are: 1) Cleanliness, the apartment did not feel so clean, they have to find a way to generate a feeling of greater cleanliness. The day we arrived there was a slug in the sink, so we decided not to use the kitchen. 2) Note that check out is at 10:00 and not at 11:00 as it is typically in hotels.
