- Mark (8/5): The Right Place To Hideaway - The Beartooth Hideaway was a great overnight experience as part of a bigger road trip. I particularly enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. The room was well equipped and the bed itself was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a cold buffet style affair with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly, professional and personable. If I pass through Red Lodge again, I will stay here again! Honestly, I didn’t experience any issues during my stay.

- Barth (10/5): Humbling and exciting, worth every penny and worth returning to! - The hotel was clean and had a pool and hot tub. Very nice space wise, and their breakfast selection is way above par. It’s close enough to walk to downtown to see red lodge and its sights. Also it’s right near a park. Above all though the staff is what makes this place, I didn’t meet everyone, but Robert the night staff man definitely went above and beyond! Not that anyone else didn’t, but I’ll be damned if I won’t be back in a month just to be able to revisit the staff themselves. You go beartooth you’re people definitely deserve raises for making this business run properly and professionally, and because they make the experience unlike any other, you literally don’t have to be rich to be treated correctly here! Nothing. It was literally perfect and I’ve stayed at 100+ hotels from 12 different us states.

Quiet, even though we were on ground floor at the end of the hall. Evening staff was ok, not very engaging. Morning staff was pleasant, but in the back, had to make myself known at the front desk. Doorknob to our room was loose, not very secure. Breakfast was all carbs, no protein. Could have used a breakfast burrito or similar.

Found several long hairs on the vanity shelf above the toilet and the air conditioner quit working after the first hour. Also the vending machines kept taking our money and wouldn't give us our items.

- Q268AXjohng (10/5): Our Favorite Place to Stay in Red Lodge - The Beartooth Hideaway Inn & Cabins is our favorite place to stay in Red Lodge. We have been staying there for several years. Recently, we booked rooms thru Linda at this property with an estimate of how long we would be there. During our stay, we made some modifications to our schedule and wanted to extend our stay one extra day in our deluxe room, only to find out that this room had already been booked for someone else by another front desk staff member. When it came time to move to another room on the property, Linda at the front desk said that we have been upgraded to one of their cabins for the same price that we were paying for our motel room. The cabins are priced significantly higher than the other rooms at our motel. I found out that Linda had talked to general manger Scott and assistant manager Amber and they were in favor of moving us into of their cabins. Also, Melissa at the front desk gave me some bear spray in case I encountered any wildlife during our stay, as she did this out of concern for me as she knows that I like to hike some of the trails in the area to include Wild Bill Lake. Scott and Amber along with Linda, Melissa, and Robert treat us like family, which is why the Beartooth Hideaway Inn and Cabins is our favorite place to stay in Red Lodge.

- worleybird98 (6/5): Okay for one night stay. - We had left the Badlands of S Dakota that morning, and had spent the day driving across Wyoming to Red Lodge, with the plan to hit Yellowstone in the morning. The town of Red Lodge is very cute, with lots of restaurants and stores. To be honest, the Beartooth sounded better online than it was in person. It is definitely in a need of a refresh. We had booked this vacation somewhat last minute, so other locations to stay had already been booked up, so it is what it is. But we were grateful that we were only staying one night. The breakfast is limited, both in selection, and length of time that it's available, and forget about getting seating - you will have to take it back to your room to eat. Everything is prepackaged and chilled from being in the fridge. If you put the pastries in the microwave for a few seconds, it definitely helped. For the price, I would've expected better accommodations, but honestly, when you are staying in a gateway community to a national park, this is often what you find.

The new gym is a great addition and your pool is lovely, wish we’d brought our swim suits. A few bugs had collected in the front window, probably due to a change in the weather. My husband took care of them.

They are located in the reception area so you choose from the refrigerators and return to your room to eat. There is no area to eat otherwise. The staff was rude and unhelpful. Room are grossly outdated. Cleaning is secondary, there was urine still in one of toilets that had not been flushed. Dark, dingy.

Unfortunately we failed to bring swim suits, because the heated indoor pool looked very inviting. The room size is very comfortable with a natural pine ceiling, pegged pine hanging posts, comfortable table and chairs, spacious low chest for bags, a small full refrigerator, and ample bathroom counter and mirror. The jacuzzi tub with shower is a real treat! Basic breakfast

- Julie (10/5): If you don't mind spending a little more and want quiet and comfort, get a cabin - The cabins are great. I wish we were staying for more than one night. The kitchen has everything you could need. The gas fireplace is a total environment changer, just made it so cozy and homey feeling. The separate vanity area is huge compared to most hotel rooms. We really enjoyed the short time we were there. The only downer was that breakfast was only served until 9:00 am but that's not even a big deal. We sleep in on vacation so missing breakfast is on us.
