Great location to check out the lovely town of Seydisfjordur. Self check-in/out was smooth and easy! Very nice place to base your East Fjord adventures. The photos online made this hotel look like it had a restaurant on premiss, which is does not. It is located in their main building. This was not clear. Additionally, I think all of the photos were from a different hotel as nothing about our room matched the photos we saw at booking.

• Melysa (8/5): - The location is good and the room is also well-decorated. We come in low season so there are limited option of restaurants available in the area. The hotel provided this info clearly on the table. It's a small hotel and everything is self checked, so we could not meet anyone from the hotel to consult about the road closure (except by email, which was replied with very limited information).

• Evonne (9/5): Refurbished old heritage house. Clean and convenient - The toilet is spacious. The room is very clean Check in instructions are clear Short of chairs. We only have one dressing table stool in the room while I see other room have 3-4 chairs. The check in process is clear but the staff is not very responsive. I can understand it’s low season now so there is no one stationed in the reception counter but if guests have issues to solve, there should be solution provided

• Janette (9/5): - The triple room was a large, comfortable space with a nice view of the harbor and surrounding mountains. Our daughter loved the coziness of the small sleeping nook. We would advise eating the breakfast buffet. Simply delicious. Beautiful slice of Iceland and overall a really great stay. The directions to enter the building were confusing, but we figured it out just fine.

• Marbel (10/5): Amazing - It was an amazing experience. We loved the hotel, it was very clean and modern. The town of seydisfjorur was one of my favorite town in all Iceland. We recommend it 100%.

La réception, qui se trouve dans un autre bâtiment, laisse à désirer sur l’accueil très froid, presque agacé. Les chambres sont bruyantes, ce qui peut poser problème en fonction du voisinage.

Ce sont des chambres dans un bâtiment à l’écart. Faible insonorisation. Très cher pour ce que c’est, à savoir une chambre dans une maison à 300m de la réception. Pas de service.

• Hongyu (10/5): - The place seems to be converted from an old bank, and it’s got a nice vintage vibe. The view from the window is great too. The check-in location is about a 5-minute walk from where the rooms actually are, but overall, everything was really good.

Very cool place, though the room was a bit odd in its measures (probably because this is the way it was built over a century ago). Great shower though (completely new) 😊 The great breakfast should have been part of the room cost.
• Cynthia (10/5): Gorgeous stay in a very comfortable Hotel and cute little town. - We loved the little town our stay was in and the room was spacious, clean, very comfortable and just perfect. The little nook for my daughter - even though she is an adult - was awesome. She wasn't feeling well and so being tucked in all cozy and warm was wonderful. The location was awesome and beautiful even though VERY windy! Had to climb some stairs, but not a problem. Everything was great!

Our toddler loved the little nook to sleep in.the restaurant food was also phenomenal for both dinner and breakfast. Nothing in a particular but it’s good to know the check in reception is just down the street from the actual home we stayed in.

Il check-in si effettua in una struttura vicino che gestisce sia le camere che il ristorante. Non abbiamo potuto cenare in nessuna struttura presente nella cittadina a causa di un evento. Tutti i ristoranti e bar hanno chiuso alle 19.30 e nonostante fossimo clienti dell’alloggio,sono stati fiscalissimi con l’orario. Dopo un lungo viaggio per arrivare in un luogo così sperduto avrei preferito più elasticità.

Beautiful spot to explore when not pouring with rain! Iceland is expensive to eat and dinner and breakfast here were no exception. Food was delicious. Communal kitchens in all three properties would be a lovely addition.

• Birgit (10/5): - Hier stimmt alles. Das 3-Bett Zimmer in der alten Bank (Bankinn) war charmant und sehr gemütlich. Der Weg zum Restaurant ist gut zu Fuß zu bewältigen. Abendessen und Frühstück waren top. Die Kulisse ein Traum...obwohl wir Regen hatten.
