Guest Reviews
- Daniel (10/5): - Comodo, tranquilo
- Jennifer (6/5): - I had to double pay for the room. I paid expedia, but when i got there, they had my reservation but no money so I had to pay twice for the room. Expedia needs to either clarify that going through them and paying only reserves the room. However, the staff was very nice and helpful.
- Jose (6/5): - You get what you pay for. The hotel is ok, not a luxurious one. But it does the job. AC works great, tv remote doesn’t. Water pressure is low. The location is good close to main stores and attractions. The beds are new so the fell awesome. Pillows too. Overall is just ok if you are looking for a place to sleep, nothing else.
- rodrigo (10/5): - Good
- Connie (8/5): - We did have some issues with the hotel honoring the number of people on the reservation, but once we contacted Hotels.com and worked together we were able to get the problem resolved. It was clean and comfortable.
- Hansy (10/5): - Bien solo mejorar las instalaciones
- Erika (6/5): - Sin comentarios
- Julissa (6/5): - It was dirty, bed sheets all stained , bathroom and shower was dirty
- Alberto (6/5): - Para El Precio Que Vale La Habitacion Doble Deberian Poner Agua en las Habitaciones Porque Hay q Bajar al Lobby para tomar agua
- Viviann (8/5): - The facility to take food
- Clifton (10/5): - I requested for 2 rooms with 2 beds but received one room upgrade to 4 queen beds.
- Dietmar (8/5): - The hotel is for one night ok when you are on transfer. A Walmart it’s very close to the hotel. There are also typical restaurants and street food arround. AC worked perfect. It is very hot in the property. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The local Bus Station is across the street, Cristina Transporte it’s a walk of 10 minutes.
- Jesus (10/5): - Excelente servicio
- Shanell (2/5): - The rats dint make me sleep they ran all night long on the ceiling..and the noise out side was just getting on my nerves
- Alex (6/5): - The front desk at night is great, but during the morning everything has to be done through the chinese restaurant desk and there’s a young lady that works day shift. She harasses you about night stay payments or even asks raising her voice in from of all people at the restaurant to give her the TV remote and room keys back. I think that there should be a better control in day time. It’s embarrassing to get stopped in your way out and get asked not in private to pay your night stay which you already did prior at check in. I understand that she is trying to do her job but there are ways. It is unfortunate but this is something that happens with every reservation I make. I hope that they talk to her or give her a briefing to who’s booked and for how long so this doesn’t happen every time. The report given to her should include everything booked rooms, rooms to be vacated, who’s paid for and who’s to pay, etc. in other words with a little bit of management these things shouldn’t be happening.
- wilmer (10/5): - We reserved a room for 4 and got a roome with 4 queen beds and sofas. Super spacious
- Maury (10/5): - N/a
- Samuel (8/5): - close to ferry
- fredy (10/5): - Excelente
- Alex (10/5): - Buen personal
- Gerardo (8/5): - Muy buen hotel
- Luz (10/5): - Great place nice & clean & cheap
- Jose David (10/5): - Muy bueno
- Adonis (10/5): - Personal amable y eficaz
- juan (10/5): - La atencion
- Amr (10/5): - Friendly staff , good location, big room and comfy bed.I arrived from Guatemala after spending almost 15 hours by buses. So it was the best sleep ever I had) recomended
- Jagroop (2/5): - We did not stay at the hotel. They didn’t have the room we reserved. The receptionist wasn’t very helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I chose this property for its proximity to the Viana bus terminal, which has since been closed. However, the hotel is only 3 blocks from the Tranportes Cristina bus depot so it worked out fine for a 5 am ride to San Pedro Sula. The hotel is across the street from a local bus terminal for rides to Sambo Creek and other local spots. There is a grocery store a few steps away too. The building itself appears to be an apartment building being used for a hotel. You have to enter through a Chinese restaurant during the day, which is weird but works fine. The building isn't fancy but the rooms are clean and cheap. The neighborhood isn't attractive but security is decent at the hotel. I will stay at a hostel up in the forest on my next visit to La Ceiba, but Hotel El Dorado is a cheap option for those who need travel logistics more than beauty.
- Hugo (10/5): - It was amazing the guy was there was so friendly we us
Thanks
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a nice clean facility. And close to shoppingg, roceries bus station also very close less than one kilometer
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean and great value for the money. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
