Lena (6/5): - The rooms we cozy and the pool was great for the 1 day we could use it. There was no coffee or proper amenities in the place. The only reason I booked was for the kitchenette and we could not cook or prepare any meals. I have a small child (4) and need to be able to prepare food. The BBQ was also broken. It was super loud at night and difficult to fall asleep. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. There were lots of ants as well in the place. We only stayed 2 nights and could only use the pool 1 day. The other day it was being cleaned and we couldn’t use it.

Azmi George (5/5): Not pleasant. We stayed here last year but renovations destroyed the hotel. - Location. Caretaker was cordial. Small living space. No sink, had to go to bathroom to wash mug and fill coffee machine. AC was dripping water in bedroom. Side lamp was not connected and I had to put it on floor to reach socket. Suicide shower was scary. Living space had one seat only, we were three people. No cleaning whatsoever for 5 days. No glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. just three coffee cups which still had price stickers on them.

Fabián (9/5): Relajante - Las habitaciones son muy comodas y tienen una excelente vista a la piscina. La piscina es amplia y mantiene una misma profundidad excelente para los niños. Las villas son muy tranquilas. Un lugar muy recomendado para las personas que buscan un lugar seguro y céntrico para relajarse. Esperamos volver pronto con mas miembros de la familia. Definitivamente un lugar que recomiendo al 100%. El llavín de la puerta del baño estaba dañado por dentro. Y el portón no abría y cerraba automáticamente, había que empujarlo un poco. Pero nada del otro mundo. Pequeños detalles. :)

Geoff (4/5): wouldn't do it again - no one answered when we called at the gate. Another patron had to help us in. The manager took about 30 minutes to get us our room. He seemed a little slow and this place is in a sketchy neighborhood. horrible lighting, no sink in kitchenette, had to brew coffee on the floor as no place to plug it in, ants, people talking loudly on facetime in the pool, hard beds, loud noise from bar next door.
Danielle (4/5): We would not stay here again. - It has a great location, and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. The host was also helpful. The rooms awkward, uncomfortable, and rundown. The layout of the units is awkward. There is no couch or sitting room space. The beds were uncomfortable.

No sink other than in the bathroom upstairs. No silverware or dishes other than cups and glasses. There was an ant infestation in the bathroom sink. The air conditioning was not the best. There was no electrical plugin for the coffee maker, so we had to put it on the floor to plug it in. Finishes were worn and needed repairs.

The condo was clean, AC was cold, shower was so nice and very spacious, bed was very comfortable. The pool was very nice and the hot tub was perfect for the evenings too. Daniel (2/5): Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen - Das Areal und der Poolbereich sind schön gestaltet - allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ariel ist sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr nett in Empfang genommen. Die Villa, die wir gebucht hatten, hat leider so gar nicht den Fotos entsprochen. Als wir ankamen, mussten wir erstmal feststellen, dass ein Tisch und Stühle nicht vorhanden waren. Obwohl es eine Kaffeemaschine und Kühlschrank sowie Mikrowelle hatte und man daher eigentlich meinen sollte, dass ein Tisch nicht schlecht wäre. Schlimm war das Badezimmer… Die Dusche war so verkalkt und schimmelig, dass wir keinen Fuss reingesetzt haben und aus dem Wasserhahn am Waschbecken kam nur ein Rinnsal. Ebenso wurde die Toilette definitiv nicht gereinigt bevor wir ankamen. Leider war auch der Fussboden in der Villa nicht sauber. Unser Kind lief barfuss und hatte danach schwarze Füsse… Am schlimmsten war jedoch, dass im Schlafzimmer bei unserer Ankunft eine grosse tote Kakerlake am Boden lag und auch sonst im Haus viele Ameisen unterwegs waren. In der Nacht war es aufgrund der angrenzenden Karaokebar sehr laut, so dass wir mehrfach aufgewacht sind.

The location was good as it was a short walk from the restaurants, shops and bars (however, we heard the music from the bar until late at night). We liked the pool. The pictures of the property show all the rooms/villas. It is difficult to understand what your room will be like. Bathroom as no door as it is right in the bedroom. The water pressure is limited and at times there was no hot water. With that in mind, it is crazy that there is a jacuzzi in the room. There was nowhere to hang clothes. A couple of hooks or a rack would be a good improvement. We heard our neighborg talking online and watching videos through the adjoining door. Music was coming from the nearby bar until 1 am. Fortunately, we had earplugs.
catharine (7/5): good location, pool area, living area is fine but shower needs a good clean and more seating all ove - having access to the pool was the bonus and really made the accomodation shine having more seating not only inside the unit for a family to sit around and talk but also by the pool area ... not enough chairs/loungers for all the people. Also if a fridge there should either bwe a central area to chop fruits with utensils or have a few glasses and cups in the unit

Deb (9/5): Enjoyable stay. Recommend and would stay again. - Loved the king bed, hot shower. Staff member Ariel was very friendly and helpful. Spoke good english. Great walkable location. Layout of the rooms a little strange. There is a sitting area with only one chair. The shower is huge with a large skylight so that bedroom is quite bright in the morning.

Dylan (10/5): It is worth the money, and much better than many the other options I saw while around Coco Beach. - The location was geographically great. My brother and I could make it to the beach within about five minutes. There are two grocery stores within a minute walk of the location. The property was secure with the only way being in or out being a key fob. If you’re somebody who enjoys sitting by the pool or being in the pool, they have a decent one. I also have a grill by the pool if you want to cook some food. The showers were large. The room was clean and tidy when we arrived. So I suppose if I had to pick one sentence to describe what I liked it would be “it is what you want from a place to stay when you are paying $200 a night as someone who values their money and needs to justify spending it on a place to sleep.” The only complaints that I have are of no fault Green Villas. When my brother and I gotten in bed for the first night, we noticed that there was music coming from a location somewhere in the vicinity, loud enough to be a distraction whenever it came to trying to go to sleep. A restaurant outside of the gate throws their old grease in the ditch beside the road every morning. So whenever my brother and I were leaving in the morning to go about the planned activities, it smelled like rotten human fecal matter. But it’s worth noting the smell was only on the road and in no way traveled to the villas.

Da alle Apartments auf den Pool ausgerichtet sind, ist es trotz der Lage mitten im trubeligen Ort total ruhig. Abigail vom Staff war super hilfsbereit, nett und jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar! Playa de Coco direkt beim Hotel ist nicht so ein schöner Strand, es lohnt sich mehr an den Playa Hermosa zu fahren.
Luis (8/5): en general, para una estancia de un par de días el apartamento cumple con las necesidades mínimas. - La atención brindada por Abigail fue excelente, es muy atenta y servicial. La habitación principal es muy pequeña y por lo tanto el tamaño de la cama es matrimonial, tamaño que no es el ideal.

We were so late arriving but they really went the extra mile and yet another one on top! I cannot thank them enough. Great communication from the start. The breakfast was very tasty and set us up for the day. You can not ask for a better position in town. Very private and clean. When we come back, without a shadow of a doubt we would stay back at Green Villas El Coco

Milena (10/5): A great value for money - The location is nice, in a quiet street and still close to the center and some shops. The host is a very kind lady that provided us with a lot of advices for the area. The rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. You can sit and relax right next to the swimming pool.
Kristen (9/5): It was wonderful. Minutes to the beach, shops and restaurants with clean and friendly accommodations from Abigail. - Abigail was amazing! We had a red eye so she kept our bags with us and recommended breakfast locations at the beach. She was quick to respond to us for any requests we had. Our villa had an old oven I wasn’t comfortable using while my parents villa had a new oven so if we needed anything cooked, we would use their kitchen.
Lane (9/5): Great spot walking distance to beach - Abigail was very helpful with check in and check out. The location was great and the AC in the rooms worked well. The property is very secure behind gates. There are several different keys for the various doors and gates, but it's not really an issue.

Rocío (8/5): Nice villas, check the ACs - Staff was very attentive, they moved us to a different villa when I notified them the AC in one room of ours wasn't working. Not all villas are the same in terms of supplies and decor, but I think they're priced the same. They moved us to a better villa that had bidon of drinking water and nicer living room furniture than the first one.

Francois (9/5): Worth the stay. - In comparison to other locations, this place was on the upper end. I am giving it a 9 because the other places available were not as nice. But this is not a 5-start villa. The staff were splendid, very professional, very accommodating, and always available. We were expecting the complex to be much larger. The street that led to the main entrance of the complex was plain dirt and not finished.
Pauline (7/5): Too expensive for the level of comfort, furnishing and kitchen supplies. - We greatly appreciated the help Abigail provided, solving the issues we had during our stay. She was quick to respond and the repairs needed (water heater in the shower) were done quickly and well. Very courteous, professional staff. The place is clean and very well located. It is on a street next to the main road in Coco, with all the restaurants and supermarkets. You feel comfortable and safe walking around. When we arrived on a dirt road full of deep holes and water puddles we were not impressed. Then we were assigned unit number 6 which is straight at the back of a very popular, noisy bar. We also noticed that the condo was not exactly as shown on the pictures I had requested; close but not the same. Abigail suggested another unit and it looked like the one I had rented. All good. Then we realized that there was hot water only in the shower.....not in the kitchen, not in the first floor bathroom and not in the upstairs bathroom. Just the water heater in the shower. Yes you may do the dishes with cold water but no, it is not the same. We did not know that when we booked. The noise from the Coconut Bar was loud but they did stop around 11PM. On Saturday however there is karaoke and music until about 1AM. We could not really sleep as you can feel the vibration...... but my main complaint is that the price is very high for what you get. The whole place is in need of an upgrade. I checked while we were there and we could have stayed in higher quality places for much less. That was a disappointment.

Problems with the appliances. Stove randomly turned on in one room and short circuited. One of the toaster ovens also stayed on u less unplugged. The sliding door on one of the units kept going off the track.
Dawn (10/5): A very lovely place :) - Everything! The location was perfect, a short walking distance to the middle of town. It was clean and spacious, plenty of amenities and the beds were very comfortable!

Mold on furniture! Aweful smells (3-4 different bad smells). Old ACs. Massive dust on ceiling fans. 1 in 3 pools broken. Green trash piled up on property as perfect breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Very loud in the evenings as located directly behind pubs with loud music. Uncomfortable beds caused back pain. Merely two bowls for eating didn’t work well with a whole family.

Pender (6/5): For the price and location, it is a good place to stay in Coco. - The location slightly out of the busy Coco main street but close enough to walk into town was great. Nice to have a patio outside, air conditioning and a separate living/dining area with well-equipped kitchen. The outside pool area was not quite up to par. The pool looked great and clean, however, immediately outside the villas are lots of little stones so you cannot walk outside in bare feet and there were exposed pipes and hoses lying across the patio areas between the pool and apartments. TV options could be better if possible to offer streaming services so that guests can stream using their own channels (Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu, etc.) - unfortunately the only channels available were all in Spanish and the only other 'source' was via an HDMI cable, which I did not have.

Pool close Dirty, the jacuzzi had been closed for a long time but was shown in photos and was a reason we chose the location. Large bugs in the house. Beds were horrible, I was tossing and turning all night. Under the bed was filthy. Dust from months or years. Horribly loud karaoke at the restaurant behind us. Made it very difficult to sleep. No cushions on the pool chairs even though the picture showed them. The grill was flooded and unavailable for the whole trip. Pool floor coming apart. Many Bugs in the pool.
