- Jon (9/5): - Check-in was seamless, parking easy, clean, little things done well and the most comfortable bed.

- Isabella (7/5): Great location, standard facilities - The location was great - close to great cafes and restaurants. The featured walks and attractions were also not far by walk or drive. The room was clean and the staff were helpful and approachable. I was initially misdirected and asked to use the hotel patron bathrooms. After the public holiday, they were very dirty. It might help that if upon check-in, a welcome email was sent to you, explaining exactly where the facilities are (showers and toilets are on the same floor as you). Also, the place did smell like cigarettes, so if you're asthmatic please be mindful of this. The noise levels may also vary depending on what nights you book for.
- Stacey (8/5): Comfortable and good value accommodation - Good value accommodation. The heritage features of the hotel accommodation have been maintained well to create a nice atmosphere. Common living room with tea and coffee. On-street noise as to be expected in pub-style accommodation on a Saturday night

- David (10/5): Great stay - Great Pub . Very nice room and facilities
- Richard (9/5): We were met by a young staff member who showed us around , very friendly and would definitely stay again - Yes , very clean Nothing
- Laura (8/5): - Very quiet (after the pub closes). Lovely lounge space for residential guests to mingle outside your room.
- Sandra (8/5): Very comfortable , good location and value for money. - Swearing outside after closing
- Brendan (10/5): -
- Keilly (9/5): Beautiful - Rooms with history .. a fab place to stay .. excellent clean shared bathrooms … great size family room

- Bernadette (8/5): A great pub stay in a lovely village. - Very convenient. Lovely refurbished rooms. Just walk downstairs for a drink at the bar or a great pub meal. We even joined the Trivia night. Great fun. Easy to get to if you don’t have a car, just get off the train onto a bus that drops you at the door. And all the shops are right outside the pub.
- Megan (10/5): My daughter and I stayed the night to attend a concert. The accomodation was lovely and comfortable. Everything was very - It was incredibly well priced and very clean and comfortable Nothing

- Kerry (8/5): Lovel town - It was a lovely town and not far from the event I want to in Thirroul. It was a clean room Don’t book room 7 as the window bed has the pipe work for shower right behind the bed. Not good when you’re needing to sleep.
- Ramu (10/5): -
- Villanueva (10/5): - Really good Nothing
- Andrew Bults (10/5): Andrews Helensburgh review - The beds were very comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The food at the pub were delicious.

- Glenn (8/5): if you're looking for a 1 or 2 night stay, it ticks the boxes, for price, cleanliness. - bathrooms and kitchen were very clean No air conditioning, except open a window, but the evening breeze was good. Lucky us :)
- Melissa (7/5): - Very good staff
Lovely country hotel
Old world charm Shared bathroom
- zhao (1/5): Overall, this was an extremely poor experience. - Nothing. This property's main business is clearly a bar, not accommodation. When we arrived, there was no receptionist and no proper reception desk. We had no choice but to stand among a group of drunken people and wait for a long time until the bartender was no longer busy selling drinks and finally came to check us in. After checking in, we discovered that the room had almost no sound insulation. The bathroom and shower facilities were shared, and people were using the toilet and shower throughout the entire night. It was impossible to sleep. Even very late at night, people in the bar downstairs were still loudly singing together. What is even more unbelievable is that this “hotel” has an overall rating of 8.2, which raises serious doubts about the reliability of the rating system. I strongly hope that Booking will conduct more thorough investigations and clearer classifications of the properties it cooperates with. Allowing such unprofessional partners on the platform seriously damages consumers’ trust in Booking’s professionalism, rating system, and credibility.
- Peyman (9/5): i will stay again - being close to everything

- Terese (10/5): Helensburgh Hotel is a little gem, one of the best places to stay just outside Sydney - This is one of our favourite places to stay on our way to Sydney, it’s very comfortable, clean, fantastic value for money, friendly, the food is excellent downstairs in the pub, bathrooms are so nice and easy to access outside our room, and the lounge room is lovely with facilities for tea and coffee and a fridge and microwave for your own food.
And it’s a cute little town to walk around with great shops and restaurants and cafes. We like every thing

Price
This is a pub stay so expectations should match this. Other customers left bathrooms messy in the morning, towels on the floor not considering other customers but the cleaning was immaculate by staff. People should be told on check in or there should be a big basket in bathrooms.

- Helene (8/5): Mid week stay. Clean quiet value for money. - Mid week stay so quiet after 10pm. Shared bathrooms were clean, modern and equipped with everything you’d need. Bistro food downstairs was good. Parking was full on arrival at 7. Though as the pub cleared out it became available.
- Saeedeh (7/5): Good location and although the bathrooms were share but they were clean. - It was a warm day and being a Heritage building it did not have the aircon and the fan did not help very much but all together I liked the place.
- Leon (8/5): -
- Bhanuka (9/5): -
- Eugenie (10/5): Comfortable clean - very like a European bnb - Great country pub feel -bathrooms were shared but were clean hot and welcome. Common areas were well stocked big fridge freezer to put food in and refreeze ice rocks. Dinner in beer garden was great!
Will stay again! Stairs- but really they were not a problem we had just done 10k hike so our fault!

- Rhea (10/5): -
- Brian (9/5): -
- Andrew (4/5): - The upgrading work done on the hotel No water/loo, shower basin etc
- Natasha (4/5): - Location is well situated in middle of small town.
Bathrooms look like they have just been renovated and common room is nice.
Unfortunately the room is was in (7) with twin beds had what looked like mold stains on the wall or water damage at least, I hadn’t noticed it at first but did notice the very strong odor of bleach or some chemical product used in the room as soon as I walked in, I am guessing for this exact issue. This was not disclosed to me upon c/in and I am therefore very dissatisfied about paying 125$ for the room. I am awaiting to hear back from the hotel, who I have brought this issue to. Mold/water damaged walls + strong chemical odor in room.
Free parking, which is actually street parking and can be tricky if busy like it was for me on a Saturday night.

- Trenna (7/5): Should have stayed longer as it was very enjoyable!! - Old world charm, lovely spacious common room to do laptop work. A great meal downstairs. Good location, cafes close by for breakfast. Staff and locals very friendly. Stanwell park beach 4K away, we had a picnic in this beautiful spot. At our age a lift or someone to carry bags up the stairs would have been good. But there is nothing really that we did not like.
- bruce (8/5): Very happy - Close enough to the conference centre at Stallwell tops I like old buildings
- Helen (8/5): -
- Salesh (4/5): - Shared toilet n bathroom Rooms didn’t have toilets n bathroom
- Sean (5/5): - Room was very cold and no option for any heaters. Would be nice to have kettle and coffee option for ppl staying.
- Michael (7/5): - Didn't have breakfast All good for the price
- Claire (10/5): Good vibe, style, friendly staff, good value for money. - Good vibe, style, friendly staff

- Fernando Agustin (8/5): - Very good everything! Super clean. Wifi is slow.
- Annette (10/5): We stayed a night in transit ,it was convenient for us ,we had a pleasant time - The Hotel was very charming ,spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable with crisp white sheets. The shower was amazing . The common room was nicely set up .It was a lovely old building ,shabby chic and very reasonably priced.

- john (8/5): -
- Hayden (5/5): -
- Yuan (6/5): Overall not bad but can be improved for better experience - strategic location with shops conveniently available within walking distance -No air condition in the room which cause the stay uncomfortable during intense heat (ceiling fan didn't help much in such intense heat)
-loud noise from restaurant downstairs till late at night
-spider, cockcroach & beetle were seen on the bed in the room
- Talea (10/5): 10/10 - Very convenient, very clean and friendly staff :) Loved the furnishings and the alternate access door
- christine (8/5): - Bien placé,
- Chiara (10/5): - Camera pulita ed accogliente, con tutto il necessario.
Posizione centrale e staff accogliente e gentile
- Ian (6/5): - 2 toilets/showers for 9 rooms is a little on the low side, especially when 1 room had shower and toilet in it
- Mikaeli (6/5): Good for the cooler months! - Clean updated shared bathrooms, tidy room No aircon and poor airflow into the room mad a warm summer night hard to sleep.
- Silwan (5/5): -
- Nerine (7/5): -
- amber (9/5): -
- Ronda (8/5): Recommended, great value, would stay again. - Rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable with old style furniture in keeping with the age of the hotel. Shared bathrooms modern and very clean. Great value for money. Some noise as above the bistro and bar but not too bad. Fabulous location with great eateries across the road. Our stay exceeded our expectations! It was a very warm night when we stayed - there is no aircon in the rooms but there was a ceiling fan and windows can be opened.

- bronwyn (10/5): - Lovely country pub, spacious family room. Shared bathrooms but that was no issue at all. Everything super clean and nice little touches here and there. Example shampoo and conditioner in shower, nice paper towel in bathroom. Great shower. Quiet too considering it's a hotel! Comfy bed, nice bedding. Fantastic location. Will be back when in town again!
- Pamela Tawatao (9/5): Great stay - Location is excellent with stores and restaurants all a few steps away. Room is very clean as well as the shared bathrooms. There is also free coffee / tea in the shared area.
- Sofia (8/5): Clean room, comfortable beds, and very tidy shared bathrooms with shower gel and shampoo. Highly recommended! -
- Marco (7/5): -
- Hind (8/5): - Easy booking, good ales, good food. Quite after 11.30 at night. Bathroom / shower / toilet were not en-suite.

- Kim (10/5): Highly recommend for leisurely stay. - Relaxed and comfortable hotel and rooms. Good value for money and very good staff. Nothing.
- Michael (8/5): -
- Ross (8/5): Very good - Very clean and great facilities. Clear window above the door so when someone walked down the corridor the hall lights went on and off all night . Put a blind on the window .
- Clemens (10/5): -
- Neil (8/5): It was basic but nice, staff are very friendly. -
- Saritha (9/5): -
- Tim (9/5): Charming country pub - Charming old hotel, well furnished and clean, renovated bathrooms. The common area is a godsend for longer stays, with boardgames, kettle etc Note the 32 steps leading up to the rooms and noise downstairs until 10pm (it is a pub!)
- Matt (10/5): - Super comfy pillows and bed, and I love the heritage style. Quiet considering there's a pub downstairs. Shower was good and warm. Nothing
