- 35c1cbe0708670e1ead1e9fe34e3ca42 (10/5): Luxusní rodina majitelů, vracíme se již 4 sezóny, našli jsme klidné, rodinné prostředí, fantastické -
- Carsten (9/5): Absolut klasse! - Tolle Zimmer. Toller Service. Tolle Gastgeber.
- Nicola (8/5): -
- Dave FA (10/5): Fantastic location, right next to the main free bus routes, great facilities. Kind management. - The whole facility was beautifully appointed, a great deal of effort and expense had been put into the apartment with all modern amenities catered for. The wellness/spa area was superb and was a welcome sanctuary at the end of a tiring day. The wellness spa could have been open on arrival day (Saturday), that way, it could have been utilised at the end of a long and tiring days travel to reach the resort.
- Jakub (10/5): Godne polecenia! Właściciel pomocny i kontaktowy. Blisko teren spacerowy, którym można dostać się właściwie wszędzie. Musieliśmy zapłacić ekstra 100 euro za zwierzaka, chociaż nigdzie nie było wcześniej takiej informacji.
- Sergejus (10/5): - The owners was very friendly and very helpful. Everything. Spa, sauna jacuzzi.
- Jacek (10/5): -
- Nicolai (9/5): Superb - Very nice host. There were two meals includes in the price which came as a surprise. So we experienced two 4 course diners with original Italien cooking. A bit far from the city but there is a bus stop near by (5 min walk)
- Aleš (10/5): Exceptional - The snow conditions, owner and all services were the best. The apartments were really great, also easy underground parking. The fresh bread every morning (if you order it), twice a week a dinner (FOC) we pay only a drink for an acceptable price.
Comfortable beds, heating storage for ski boots, two types of sauna, wellness.
- Helena (10/5): Our favourite accommodation in Livigno - Beutiful modern apartment, very comfortable beds, fully equiped kitchen. Staff is very friendly. Dinner was execelent. We love to came back. Nothing
- Justinas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lukas (9/5): Superb - The wellness was out of order.
- Helena (10/5): Great accomodation, we will deffinitely come back again - Super comfy beds. We appreciate new fully equiped apartment. We were surprised how great this accomodation is.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Chlebnikovaitė (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tomasz (10/5): Perfect winter holidays, Baita Cusini is probably the best apartment in whole Italy. - The climate of the place, owner and all services. The apartments were really great, undeground parking helps us during frost. The owner brings us a fresh bread every morning and invited us for a dinner. Can you expect more ? :). There is no such things, everything was perfect.
- Pavel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raffaele (10/5): Superconsigliato - Tutto perfetto, dalla pulizia ai servizi
- ArturW_13 (10/5): Friendly place close to Teola station - Great place for skiing lovers. Walking distance from teola station with acces to Motolino. Friendly atmosphere, quality sauna and jacuzzi and small things like fresh bread to your door in the morning. Good value for money. Close buss stop will help you to reach Livigno centre or Carosello slopes.
- PeberMx (10/5): Best choice in Livigno! - This is a truly excellent place - probably the best value for money in Livigno. We looked around at lots of different alternatives before choosing Baita Cusini and we are so content with our choice. Newly renovated premises, lots of space in the apartments, perfectly equipped kitchen, large livingroom/kitchen, wonderful view over Livigno, walking distance to the Teola lift, a relaxing spa with both steam sauna, normal sauna and jacuzzi, a play area for the kids with fussball and dart.... There was nothing to complain about! We also got two excellent meals included in the price and in the morning we could order fresh bread. If you are planning on cooking yourself you need to take the bus or car to the supermarket - it's not at a walking distance. And the same for ski rentals. But there is a great system of ski buses and all lines pass the bus stop that's closest to the residence. Also, we would like to thank the hosts - they were very service minded and friendly!
- bborissov (10/5): Quiet and warm house - We were there for Christmas 2015. The house is very close to the bus stop as well as to the bottom station of Theola chair lift.
It has small but cozy, relax room with sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi. The owners are nice and friendly persons, so our stay there was very pleasant. The apartment we've stayed was spacious for six persons.
- Kylie557 (8/5): Ski Home - We spent 10 days in Livigno staying at Baita Cusini. It really feels like a home away from home- our apartment was the perfect size for 2 people- and equipped with everything we needed. The dinners provided twice a week as part of the accomadation costs were a real bonus- delicious and more than ample!
The only downside we experienced was cool shower water one night when the geyser may have been overloaded.
The buses into the main part of town run pretty regularly, however the last bus home was before 9pm, so if you are planning to party bear this in mind.
- andrylMellieha_Malta (10/5): excellent stay, lovely hotel - We stayed here during new years week.we found this hotel on trip advisor and we are more than satisfied. It is runned by a lovely and friendly family.modern and new appartments.the rooms are big and clean and equipped with all the necessary. Very quite area and one can reach the centre within few minutes.buss run all the time
- MKa_Traveller (10/5): Very good value for the money - Freshly and neatly modernised and equipped, large appartments with all required kithen and bathroom facilities, Andelmo and his family make it easy for you to spend the holiday and get a rest... evening region typical dinners also very nice. I can recommend this appartments for small - medium groups of few people and even families. At this price it is hard to find anything better.
- NerijusZ (8/5): better than estimated value and services - looked for place for skiing vacation. we get luck and advice to check reopened property in Dec 2013. Our estimations was fulfilled 120% - great location (few steps to bus stop), lift in 5 minutes walking, perfect view to city below and mountains ahead of you
Adelmo and his family do their best to keep all guest happy and continue to improve services
we get benefit of two free dinners as complimentary for week stay
Good luck to all Cusini family!
- peterpoland78 (10/5): Excellent place to stay – lovely hotel. - We decided to choose this hotel for our 1 week winter holidays in Livigno and it was the best choice we could imagine. Hotel is absolutely amazing because of very friendly and helpful owners, who make the experience truly exceptional. We booked half board and the food was excellent – small, but delicious buffet for breakfast and 4 courses of great Italian home cooked meals for dinners.
- Tyntyn (10/5): Great value and a friendly service - Baita Cusini is a small family-run (and oriented) hotel located above Livigno on the Mottolino side. Our group consisted of two adults and two kids, we asked for adjacent rooms. And we got them. Both rooms 5 and 6 boast beautiful views of the opposite mountain range and the town. The rooms are smallish but adequate, I was especially pleased with the efficient housekeeping throughout our stay. While the rooms are far from being brand new, they are definitely well kept.
Half-board included breakfast and dinner where a 4-course meal was served. While the hotel only offers one set dinner menu, they were happy to accommodate any requests for alterations if someone was not happy with the offer. Food was very good, included some local specialties, and prices of drinks were reasonable. The service, provided by the owners themselves, was unobtrusively friendly and even if the hotel is quite small, it still offers a sense of privacy and respect. Various board games were available for children to keep them busy before they went to bed while the adults could take a drink or two at the bar. This was our second stay in Livigno and I’m sure that this two-star hotel is one of the best choices in its class that Livigno has to offer.
- atlot (10/5): Very good !!! - Found this little hotel on Tripadvisor and I was surprised that, as a 2 star hotel, it was in the top 10.
Booked and stayed for a week with my family in the only apartment they have but with half board
Very welcoming hotel, run by the Cusini family. Adelmo and his wife are very kind and helpful.
The hotel is very clean with good food.
Quite location but still close to the centre. Fantastic views from the hotel. Outside playarea for children and close to walks.
In a phrase, it is a hotel that has everything you need when you are on the mountains.
We booked arleady for next year !
- mprg2004 (10/5): Just excellent. - We booked our stay for a skiing trip at this hotel based substantially on reviews on this site. We stayed half board at the hotel from the 16th -23rd January. The rooms are very clean and warm. The bathroom as noted in other reviews is small but no real issue, plenty of warm water at all times.
There is a separate TV area and small bar (much frequented) and a dining room, WiFi is available at €2/hour. The breakfast is substantial and fresh daily with cereals, bread, meats, cheese, scrambeld / boiled eggs etc.. The half board dinners were excellent, 4 course, different every night, with extra portions offered each evening, food prepared and served by the owners, we ate in every night as they were so good.
The hotel isn't in the town, but there is a frequent ski bus stop very close to the hotel and later in the evening the taxis are €6 any journey, so everywhere is easily accessible. The Teola lift is with walking distance (or 1 stop on the bus if you don't like walking in your ski booots) and Mottollino main gondola 2 stops in the other direction.
All in all a great hotel that I would have no problems recommending to anybody.
- Jankovsky (8/5): Hidden gem, fantastic food... great value!!! - First use of tripadvisor and SCORE!!! Forget two stars!!! This family hotel with amazing food, large and clean rooms, 2 mins walk to black slope. Simply great value, it is not in the centre of livigno, but its not far, close to skibus station (5 minutes to the centre). You can park for free front of the hotel, I would highly reccomend the room number four for family with young child, cause it has terrace with children playground. Food is amazing but unfortunately since this year they serve the dinner at 7.30 pm which is too late for small children, cause the dinner lasts for 2 hours and more (3 - 4 courses). And wifi is for free. The owner is very kind guy, prof skier, could advise best slopes. His bro has ski rental and shop so you can get discount there.
- anaesthetic (8/5): Very pleasant value hotel - This hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from chairlift (black run back down) and a short ride on the free bus to the main gondola (blue/red back down) on the Mottolino side of Livigno.
Its out of town location suited us fine as we're not into the nightlife so much, but you can get into town in 10 minutes on the free bus up to 9pm and a cheap taxi back only a few euros. The drinks were cheaper in the hotel bar than in town anyway.
The room was comfortable, big enough and warm enough, though the shower room (no bath) was pretty small and dated, but always plenty of hot water. We had no balcony but a nice view of the town (no high rise) and Carosello/Costaccia mountain.
Food was fantastic, no buffet meals here (except breakfast, which was a nice large continental spread with hot eggs). Great salad bar, fresh starter, mains and dessert served to table, quite often they came round and offered seconds.
Most of the other guests (12 rooms in total) were English with same tour operator (Airtours/Panorama) plus a few from other countries.
The family who own and run the place were really nice, made our stay very enjoyable.
- BrownieandWibs (10/5): Fantastic food ! - We stayed at the Baita Cusini in Feb 08 for a ski holiday. Super friendly helpful family run hotel offering great (and we mean great food). You will not go hungry here. Loads of variety and as much as you can eat. Rooms comfortable, clean and warm. Everything you expect from a ski destination. Ski locker at the hotel (there is also one in town at the ski school if you get fed up of carrying your kit home). The bus is a few minutes walk and the buses are frequent and free. We would highly recommend this place. We had a lot of fun. The other guests were really nice. Baby Rudi was very cute and so happy. Livignio itself - more spread out than any other ski resort we have stayed at. Lots of great shopping ! Take your visa card ! Plenty of pubs and nice places for lunch if you get time. We didn't have a meal out at night because the hotel food at Baita Cusini is so good. Don't book your ski kit on the transfer !!! The hotel owners brother runs a shop in town which offers 10% discount to hotel guests - his kit was great. Highly recommended. We would love to return one day !
- BOMBADINO (10/5): Perfetto!! - What a charming, well managed, family run hotel!
I can not praise this hotel enough, nothing was ever too much trouble!
Although we booked Half Board, we did plan to eat out a few nights to sample Italian Cuisine, however there was no need as the out-standing food on offer was enough to tempt us to stay in, freshly cooked Italian Food .... Squisito!
You had a freshly prepared salad bar and fresh roll first, then we sampled sumptuous starters, magnificent mains and DELICIOUS desserts!
The breakfast choice was plentiful especially for a day on the slopes and whilst having breakfast you could review the evening dinner on offer, fresh grilled trout, home made torttalini, risotto and so much more ... and all freshly prepared by the owner who is also the chef.
If you did not like what was on offer then all you needed was to tell them and he would prepare something else.
His friendly wife ran the front of house operations and did a fantastic job, even with three adorable children who were always on hand to make you smile, and his father ran the bar and got me into Bombadino's ... a MUST!
The rooms were varied, sized dependant on couples or families and due to the limited amount of rooms (12) it meant guests got to know each other over breakfast and dinner and mingle, many a night was spent in the Hotel Bar rather than hitting the town, we sat talking about the days activities on the slopes, so as a result we were able to make some lovely friends!
Although the Hotel is out of the main town there is a free and easy bus service running all day to and fom the town and the slopes, it stopped at 9pm. There was a stop right outside the Hotel, so it meant in the evenings you avoided the hustle and bustle of the Livigno Nightlife, but should you wish to sample, you simply hopped on the free bus and then you can catch cab back for 6 euro's.
The resort is stunning and the slopes were great for all levels!
So all in all an A+ from us and una festa vero bella (a truly lovely holiday!)
P.S back a day ago and already planning next year's trip and our stay at the Hotel Baita Cusini
- 2seahorses (10/5): Christmas at Baita Cusini - A lovely hotel. Small but immaculate rooms, some with balconies. Plenty of hot water for twice daily showers and the shower was very powerful! Comfortable beds and excellent food. We went half board and were impressed by the extensive breakfast selection and the very varied and appetising four course evening meals which hit the spot after a long day on the slopes. The couple who own the hotel are very friendly and speak relatively good English. Unfortunately for us, we picked up a virus and couldn't make it to dinner on one of the evenings. Within 10 minutes of the dinner bell sounding the wife was knocking on our door offering to serve us our meal in our room. Talk about a personal service!!
The only criticism is that the hotel doesn't appear to have much in the way of sound proofing and we could hear other guests toilets/showers, tv' sets etc. A pair of ear plugs soon solved the problem and it would be a shame to avoid the hotel on this one small omission!
- davesangel (10/5): Brilliant, Well Worth The Transfer - We stayed at this hotel and i must admit we made the right choice. the staff went out of their way to do anything for you, even play board games with the big kids that we were one night!!!
the rooms were not that large but you had ample room for your luggage and breathtaking views of livigno when it was all lit up at night. The bathroom had an amazing shower that i didnt want to get out of after a hard day on the slopes and everything was really clean.
The food was very well cooked and plenty of choice.
Now here is the best bit, behind the hotel is a chair lift that takes you up to a red and black run on the mottolino side of the mountain. if you wanted to go into the town at night, it was a 10 min walk or a 2-3 euro taxi ride away. the drinks in marco galli was really cheap and i must admit it didnt cost much for me to be tipsy!!!
would i go back, you bet i would.
- YorkshireGeoff (10/5): Adelmo's Majic - Great Food. A Friendly and Welcoming Hotel - We were a party of 4 just returning from a skiing holiday. This is an excellent, small, family run hotel which is freindly and very welcoming. The food in particular was superb, traditional Italian cooking with 4 courses. (You'll need a good appitite)
It is convenient for the ski bus which serves the centre of Livigno and all the lifts. (Skiing is on both sides of the valley.) However, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the Teola chair lift which gives direct access to the better red and black runs on the Mottolini side.
I can certainly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, good food, and an excellent atmosphere.
