The staff are very gracious, nice and friendly too. Yet there is no elevator, but only one floor of stairs to carry.

- Kimberly (10/5): - This hostel was very clean. The shared bathroom is fairly spacious. The showers and toilet rooms are larger than most Japanese hotels. The sleeping pods get a little by hot at night, but nothing out of the ordinary. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The curry breakfast is amazing and is super reasonable at 600¥ and includes a beverage and yogurt. The whole vibe of this place was very soothing and relaxing. I will definitely stay here next time when I get the chance!

- Abigail (10/5): Highly recommended - This is hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The building is so beautiful and smells like sandalwood. The staff are friendly, everything is super clean, there is a beautiful outdoor area and a nice dining area. The beds are comfortable and the room is air conditioned. Do try the breakfast and coffee, they are delicious and vegetarian (very difficult to find in Japan!). I can’t recommend enough.

La propreté laissait parfois à désirer dans les sanitaires et il n’y avait pas de savon pour se laver les mains. Il n’y a pas d’endroits où stocker les valises la journée. - Frenky (10/5): - A nice and clean hostel, with friendly service in English. A bit of a walk from Kyoto Station, but they provide a walkthrough (in English) on how to get there with a lot of photos. So, the walk is long, but one does not feel lost, and on the way to the hostel, you can check out where you might want to drink your beer for the night :-)
- Verified traveler (8/5): - 新しいホステルでとてもきれいでおしゃれです。ファサードの雰囲気も素敵です。七条駅からすぐで、少し歩くといい感じのビールのお店やパン屋さんもありました。木でできているので音が響くかなと心配してましたが、意外と静かでぐっすり眠れました。 ただ、予約時に「ご到着日の３日前にチェックイン案内情報をメールにて、お送りいたしますので、 ご確認をお願い致します」と自動案内メールが届いたきり、当日まで何度も問い合わせましたがチェックイン案内メールが届かなかったのがずっと気がかりでモヤモヤしていました。施設面はばっちりなのでソフト面も期待しています。

- Dayoung (8/5): 깔끔하고 젊은 감각의 숙소예요. - 숙소는 깔끔하고 편안하고 수건이랑 칫솔, 수면안대, 귀마개 등이 지원되고 키친도 분위기 너무 좋고 깔끔하고 좋았는데 화장실이 오픈되어있는데다 남여공용인데다 방음이 안되는 이 부분이 불편했어요. 근처는 다 주택가이고 편의점이 걸어서 5분 정도 거리에 훼미리마트만 있어서 아쉬웠고 교토역에선 도보로 15분? 정도 걸렸어요.
- Sean (8/5): - This location is closed to 七条 station and I always walk to Kyoto station or other famous points like 清水寺 or 祇園 in Sakura season. The main problem of this living place is the sleeping time, every one would wake up or sleep in different time because of the different life style, so it would have a little annoying when someone making noise anytime.

Had a very bad experience, first the ran out of towels one night, staff was no where to be found to ask for more towels. Then the next day, when new towels were out, I opened it up and there were hair stuck in it, quite a few strands. It was extremely discomforting.. not sure how it happened.

- Verified traveler (10/5): 완전 추천! - 정말 좋은 숙소였어요! 우선 스탭 세 분 봤는데 모두 친절하셨고, 그 중 여자 스탭 분은 저보다 더 가녀리신것 같던디 캐리어도 들어주시고 ㅜㅜ.. 교통 편 물어봤는데 다 검색해서 요금이랑 버스 노선도 다 알려주셨어요. 덕분에 고생을 줄일 수 있었습니다. 1층에 샤워시설 네개, 화장실 너댓개, 그냥 세면대도 다섯갠가 있고 각 세면대 밑에 드라이기가 구비되어있고 거울도 여러개 있어서 굉장히 편했어요. 수건 및 일회용품을 하나씩 쓸 수 있다는 것도 참 좋았습니다. 화장실 세면대 샤워시설 모두 깔끔했고, 온수도 아주 잘 나왔어요. 2층엔 방 두개가 있습니다. 각각 방이 도미토리인 것 같았어요. 제가 묵은 방은 A방이었는데, 운이 좋게도 배려넘치는 투숙객들 만나서 너무 조용하고 불편함 없이 지냈습니다. 캐리어 보관할때 쓰라고 자물쇠랑 와이어 하나씩 빌려주는 것도 정말 센스 넘쳤어요 ㅎㅎ 복도가 약간 좁아서 혼자 캐리어 펼칠 땐 괜찮아도, 바로 옆 사람이랑 같이 캐리어 정리하기는 약간 어려워요. 그치만 방 안 쪽에 넓은 공간이 있으니 그쪽에서 해도 됩니다. 침대 폭신하고 침구 바스락거리는 하얀 침구에요! 머리맡에 콘센트 두갠가 있었고, 전등도 있어서 밤에도 편했습니다. 저는 2월 말에 묵어서 추울까봐 걱정했는데 난방 정말 빵빵했고, 호스텔 자체의 분위기도 아주 좋았습니다. 1층 오른쪽은 리빙룸으로, 알바? 주인? 분과 함께 얘기할 수도 있고, 혼자 일정 정리하기도 좋아요. 잔잔한 재즈 음악 틀어주셔서 혼자 맥주랑 간식 먹으면서 제 할일하기 너무 좋더라고요 ㅎㅎ 바에서 얘기 나누는 분들도 계셨고, 혼자 노트북을 하거나 글을 쓰는 사람들도 있었어요. 교통이 딱 하나 아쉬운 점인데요, 교토 역에서 도보로 15-20분 정도 걸리는 것 같았어요. 저는 걸어다녔지만 여행의 피로가 많이 쌓이셨거나 걷는 것을 싫어하시는 분들은 좀 힘들 수 있을 것 같아요 :) 시치조(?) 지하철 역이나 버스 정류장이 가장 가까운데, 걸어서 5분 정도면 호스텔 도착합니다. 어느 관광지와도 걸어서다닐만큼 가깝지는 않아요. 후기가 없다시피해서 약간 망설였는데, 저한테는 최고의 숙소였습니다!

- MS (8/5): - such a cute hostel! Well designed and stylish! Great value. Staff SUPER friendly and helpful. The beds were a bit on the harder side, and it is hard to not have your own space to spread out your suitcases and pack/unpack (and you have to be considerate of others who may be sleeping or resting in the same space), but that's the con of hostels. Other than that, it was a great place! Super easy to get to the airport from here too (KIX), use the bus that goes there direct! Way easier than maneuvering the trains.

- Verified traveler (8/5): アクセスよく周辺も便利です - 旅の主目的である京都国立博物館にアクセスがよいため選びました。周辺には24時間営業のマックやコンビニがあり、便利です。チェックアウトまでシーツの交換がされないシステムなので、長期滞在にはあまり向いていないかもしれません。ただ、バスタオルやフェイスタオル、歯ブラシ等のバスアメニティがついて安い価格帯で滞在できる点はよかったです。

- Yoonmi (10/5): 교토역인근 - 주택가에 위치한 굉장히 깔끔하고 잘 정리되어있는 센스넘치는 호스텔. 무인리셉션이지만 하나도 불편함이 없었다. 교토역에서 걸어서만 갈수있어서(교토역에서 걸어서 15분. 버스나 지하철타도 10분가량 걸어야함) 짐이 많으면 좀 애매하지만 숙소가 모든 단점을 커버한다. 일층이 화장실 세면실 공용공간 리셉션 이층이 침실인데 모두 이층침대고 침대마다 전등, 콘센트, 금고 커튼이 있다. 심지어 짐 고정 와이어와 자물쇠도 제공. 화장실이 5-6칸 모두 비데가 있고 샤워실 3칸 욕조있는 칸도 따로 있다. 호스텔 많이 다녀봤지만 욕조있는 곳은 처음봐서 완전 밤마다 잘 이용했다. 단점이라고 한다면 공용공간이 따로 분리되어있어서 신발을 다시 신고 나가야 하고 공용공간엔 테이블 의자 정수기 교토 안내책자 뿐. 부엌기능을 하는 곳이 없다. 유럽의 음식을 하고 나눠먹고 이야기를 할수있는 분위기가 전혀 없음. 리셉션 앞에 냉장고는 있지만 전자렌지가 없어서 좀 불편했다. 조용한 곳을 좋아하는 개인, 커플들에게 추천. 다음에도 또 가고싶은 곳
- Antony (10/5): Amazing hostel! - I stayed 3 nights and it was amazing! the hostel is brand new so everything looked perfect. The bed was comfortable the location was 10 minutes away from the station and walking distance to several temples and shrines. It was always very clean. They are very generous and provide free things such as water padlocks towels earplugs among other stuff. The only downside I would say is that the bathrooms are downstairs and there is no kitchen. But if u don't care about that it's a really good choice if you're planning to stay in Kyoto. The staff are very helpful especially Ono and they helped me to check in through the tablet. I regret I didn't stay longer
- Phoebe (10/5): Lucky to stay Utsuwa - It was lucky to stay this Hostel. New, very clean, wood smell. My Room was Japanese style double room. The Japanese small garden was impressive. The Paintings on the wall have a story and fantastic. I would stay again when I visit Kyoto next time.
- mar (10/5): - 和でモダンなゲストハウス。小さいお庭があったり、色んなところが凝っていて、とても心地よく、素晴らしい所でした。キャンペーン価格？なのか、お安く泊まれラッキーでした。ただ一点、ブースの枕の位置の左側に１cm程の隙間があり、隣がいなかったのでよかったですが、ライトを付けると目が合うだろうなと思いました。隣の上段のライトが隙間から眩しかったです。アイマスクが置いてあって助かりました。隙間対策をお願いします！また泊まりたいです。

The WiFi wasn’t very good and kept cutting out especially in the bedrooms which is frustrating for foreign travellers! There also aren’t officially any staff - you check in on a tablet which makes asking about any problems tricky. There is a big space for communal area but it isn’t finished - could do with being painted, some lights installed and perhaps a sink and microwave!!
