• Elina (7/5): Een prachtig uitzicht vanuit dit huisje. Ideaal om uit de drukte weg te zijn! - Een mooi huisje , eigenaar woont beneden. Een prachtig uitzicht vanuit de keuken. Je kijkt zo de vallei in en naar de zee. Alles is aanwezig in de keuken , beetje oubollig maar voor ons was dat prima. 3 aparte slaapkamers met prima bedden. Badkamers zijn netjes. Alles was keurig schoon! De vriendelijke eigenaresse had bananen uit eigen tuin voor ons neergelegd , heel attent!

• Irene (9/5): Gunstig gelegen en comfortabel appartement met prachtig uitzicht. - Het huis was comfortabel. Suggestie kookmogelijkheden wat verruimen zou fijn zijn. Prachtig uitzicht vanuit de kamers waarvan we het meest gebruik maakten. Goede buitenruimtes om te zitten. Voor ons lag het huis gunstig gesitueerd mbt de wandelingen. Het voetbalveld wordt tot 's avonds laat gebruikt, doch gaf ons geen overlast. De warmwatervoorziening is niet erg stabiel. Vaak was er in de ochtend weinig dan wel geen warm water. In de avond meer dan voldoende. Het zal misschien te maken hebben met een zonneboiler? Vervelend als je een koude douche moest nemen maar overkomelijk.
• Ernst (10/5): Grosszügiges Haus mit Aussicht. - Super ländliche Lage. An der relativ wenig begangene Levada Castelejo. Abseits der grossen Touristenströme. Ruhig und geniale Aussicht auf den Adlerfelsen. Heizung vorhanden. Liebe Gastgeberin bringt Früchte. Viel Platz im Haus und rundums Haus. Neu renovierte Badezimmer. Etwas altmodische Ausstattung ausser die renovierte Badezimmer.
• DENIS (6/5): Nous avons apprécié la vue et l'emplacement durant notre séjour - L'accueil très chaleureux, la vue . Le calme à la campagne. La proximité des beaux sites de la côte nord. L'absence d'un vrai système de chauffage dans l'appartement. Poêle à pellets qui ne chauffe que le salon, petit chauffage d'appoint insuffisant à la cuisine. Décoration trop rustique à notre goût.
• Helen (9/5): Lovely villa with superb views in a peaceful part of the island. - The villa is situated in a quiet neighbourhood with superb views of the sea and mountains. It was very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Being able to park on the drive was a bonus. The host's mother who lived in a separate property beneath was very friendly and generous with samples of the local fruit. The levada walk just up the road is gentle and through beautiful countryside. There is a football pitch adjacent to the property which can be quite noisy during and for several hours after a match. A car is definitely needed as there are no restaurants within easy walking distance.

• Leszek (10/5): Piękna okolica, świetna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Madery. - Dom jest wyposażony w kominek, co pomaga w chłodne dni lub suszeniu mokrych butów :) Wszystko mi się podobało.
• Petra (9/5): - K dispozici nám bylo celé patro domku nad Porto da Cruz. Oceňovali jsme klid a pohodlný, velký byt. Jedna ložnice má i soukromou koupelnu. Výhodou byla pračka, kterou jsme využívali, presovač, měli jsme k dispozici i kapsle a od paní domácí bio banány. Na vaření vše, co jsme potřebovali. Parkovací místo u domu, terasa s výhledem. Perfektní čistota a pohodlné postele. V městečku byla i 2 bistra, kde se můžete i najíst, zajít na kávu. Na levádu jste mohli vyrazit rovnou z domu. Hostitele vstřícní, rychle reagovali.
• Moira (9/5): Lovely spacious property, just out side of a busy centre. You do need a car. - The property was above Porta da Cruz amongst properties which were residential. It was very near Levada do Castelojo. The property owners were also local and responsive to messages. There was nothing to dislike about this property.
• Robert (10/5): Good location nice clean property - Spotlessly clean property good dining area and comfortable bed, 2 bathrooms with w/c and shower a + Lovely view from kitchen window while having breakfast. Small bar Katrepa`s with a few groceries 2 mins away parking off road. All was OK

• John (7/5): A rather rustic but nice stay because of the great view and because we are not picky or particular - The view The house was cold (18-19C) upon arrival and there was lno information on how to turn on heaters. Also the kitchen equipment was very minimal. Also there was an alarm beeping throughout the night and it woke us up several times.
• Piotr (10/5): Great place to come back to after the whole day of attractions - We have spent 4 days here afer staying for three days in busy Funchal. The place is really special and a perfect spot for a hub to explore the northern part of the island. Very comfortable apartment with private free parking, located in a quiet area with beautiful Atlantic ocean view. Norbertos mother lives downstairs and is always there to help - if you like it she can offer you sweet homegrown bananas - perfect addition to breakfast's cereal. It takes only 5-8 minutes trip by car and you are in the center of Puerto da Cruz with always busy Pipa Restaurant and a few other good eating spots right at the seaside. Perfect location to visit Ponta de São Lourenço or Levada do Caldeirão Verde (both incredible and both apps. 20 minutes by car). There is a 4km trail of local Lavada 200 meters away form the appartment - very nice evening walk without any tourists around and if you like - you can continue walking until you reach Puerto da Cruz going down the other lavada (another 4km) No complains whatsoever.

• Gillian (8/5): Lovely stay in the north of Madeira. - Great views. Very clean property with new bathrooms. Easy access to some Levada walks. Communication with owner was poor and before arriving we did not know if we would be met by anyone. In fact we were greeted by the owner’s mother who was charming but did not speak any English. It would have been helpful to have an information folder with rules for departure / rubbish disposal etc.
• Osmalley (10/5): Perfect stay for hiking - Lovely house in a great location. Super helpful owners who gave great dinner recommendations. Very clean apartment, with well equipped kitchen! Nothing!

• Aleksandra (9/5): Cosy, home-like, awesome view - I loved the view from the window, the location of the house, the room for my daughter with the toys, the kitchen was sufficiently equiped and it was nice that the land lady came to say hello event though she didnt speak English( we've managed🙂🙂) Maybe it is just the personal taste but the bed was too hard for me. Also, if you do not like too many decorations in the dining room, you pass by quickly to the kitchen to admire the view from the window. For any shopping you need to drive down to the main city as the house is on the hill( that is why the view is so awesome).

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft. Alles war sauber, die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Sie versorgten uns mit frischen Handtüchern und es gab auch mal Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten. Der Ausblick von der Küche und vom Balkon war Richtung Meer und es war einfach nur schön diesen Blick zu genießen.
