- Roy (8/5): Good choice for Portland - Very nice, small, non-chain motel on the northern outskirts of Portland, IN. We had an inside room which was very quiet. Good value. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked well, except the wifi. Could not get it going.

- KRISTIN (10/5): Nice Experience - Very nice lady checked me in, and the process only took a few minutes. Hotel grounds well-kept with good security lighting and plenty of parking spaces. Room was nice and clean and free of odor. Bed very comfortable. Best night's sleep I have had in a while. On the outer edge of town but restaurants and businesses nearby. I'll be back.

Really needs updated, new mirrors, lamps,etc Not enough available plug in's for our phone chargers also had to move the coffee pot because the cord was too short to reach the outlet by the fridge. No actual chair to sit in except a straight back chair. No actual chair or sofa to sit on, only straight back chairs. I do not like sitting on the bed ! No breakfast. I felt like the price was a little high for as dated as it was. Could use updating, however I would stay here again as it was very clean and beds were comfortable.

The bed was so very comfortable and we appreciated the pillows being on the flat side instead of huge pillows like most hotels have. There was plenty of table space and a larger fridge than in most places. We had a lovely time there and would come back anytime! Everything was great!

The prices are a very good value for what you get.

It was one of the cleanest places i have stayed at. It is next to a busy road and it stormed one night and i didnt hear a thing the room is very quiet. I will stay there again.

In the bathroom, the tub looked cracked and needed repair. There was dust on the hair dryer. In the morning, I had to move the coffee maker due to not plugged in and made it inconvenient. We will not be staying there again.

The bed was comfortable, though I prefer one a little softer. :) The location was great for my needs! The price is half that of the only large chain hotel in this town. For me, the cost of staying here, with less perks than those available in the chain hotel, was worth it! The owners lived on-site and were super friendly!

We arrived about 30 mins before check in and they were very nice. We got into our room early and it was clean and nice. We will be staying there every time we come to town.

The owners were incredibly sweet and the room was nice. Our room was a good size and clean. The bed was even comfortable. Perfect for a one night stay!
