- Katelyn (8/5): - This property was beautiful and scenic! You look right out at Kirkjufell and can see multiple stunning waterfalls from the property. The room was huge with two bedrooms, a living room/kitchen and a big bathroom. The only thing is the room was hot! When we got there the heat was turned high (in August) and we weren’t able to cool it down enough to make sleeping comfortable. I would recommend this guesthouse- I think the heat situation was maybe just an unfortunate mistake.
- Julie (10/5): - Beautiful, spacious room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a view of Kirkjufell with 2 gazing chairs. The window shades did not completely cover the long daylight, but we managed and the room made up for that. There were several loud groups who arrived into the evening, making it a noisy environment until 10 pm on the night we were there, and the same was true in the morning, since one of those groups took over the kitchen. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.

- Lisa (6/5): - Very clean and a decent amount of space. Pretty location, but not all rooms have views. Most face a parking lot. Beds were hard and linens scratchy. We stayed in the Kirkjufell guesthouse. There were 5 bedrooms with a shared kitchen/eating area. Most of the other guests were quiet in the morning but you need to prepare for this common cooking space - most people were making their own breakfast right outside our room. The property was clean and adequate - we were just passing through. But I wasn’t prepared for the shared cooking/eating/lounge area.

Our room was at ground floor level. This guesthouse makes you feel right at home. It is spacious, clean and has all the amenities needed. The shared kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. From the kitchen table you can have breakfast with the view of Kirkjufell mountain. There is also a separate dining area, also with lovely views. Would definitely stay here again. Nothing

- Eric (10/5): - The rooms are around an inner area that has the two kitchen blocks and seating for dining. Very nice and convenient. Enough outlets next to the bed. Everything is new and in excellent working condition. There is even a dishwasher. Coffee for the coffee maker is provided as well as filters. The property is a little outside of town and has great views. Highly recommend and would go again. Most convenient accommodation of our Iceland trip.

The view of mountains and ocean were breathtaking. Even when inside, the many windows brought the outside in to us. The induction oven was a challenge to use. Directions might help.

- Budsaya (9/5): Nice view - The room was clean and big enough for 4 persons but we had to fold out our luggages in the living room. The kitchenwares were well-equipped. It’s located at the end of the city but not very far. We can see the kirkjufell view from the room with the beautiful sunset (But it’s not the angle that you can see the mountain in the triangle shape). We can park the car at the guesthouse area. They will put your name on the window so if you couldn’t make it before the check in time, you still can get into the room.

- Kayla (10/5): Incredible view and very comfortable stay. - Exceptionally clean, very friendly and helpful staff, and an incredible view and location of the Kirkjufell mountain. Upon waking up and opening the blinds, we saw a big rainbow right in front of the mountain, which was just a bonus treat after a great night’s stay.! We had windows with the sun beating on them all day, so it was very hot when we got in, but we opened all the windows and the staff gave us a fan, and the place was cooled right down in about 10 minutes. Exceptional staff working there!

- Bruce (1/5): I would rather stay in the worse room in hell than stay here again! - Nothing. I would have rated it a zero if that option was available. Where to begin! I asked for a quiet mountain view room. It appears all rooms are Mountain View rooms. Fine. Quiet? Quite the opposite! My room was next to reception and the kitchen. Nonstop noise well past 10 PM. In addition, everyone that arrived had to park facing my room. With my drapes open to enjoy the mountain view, I also got to enjoy everyone exiting and unloading their vehicle. I may have avoided all of this if I could have had a conversation with the person in reception when I arrived. No chance! She spoke no English and made no attempt to communicate at all. I thought > 90% of Icelandic people spoke English?!!
- Celsa (10/5): - The room and service was very good. They staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a bit on the hot side, but I believe that this was true of all the hotels we stayed at. It’s due to not having a/c and the sun never really setting. Besides this, it was a good choice. It’s very close to Kirkjufell mountain and waterfall, which is wonderful. The sea is right next To the hotel and there is another waterfall right next to the hotel. All in all this was a great find.

Beautiful surroundings, warm, welcoming room with well equipped kitchenette. Check out time at noon was very appreciated, we needed our beauty sleep on our first night in Iceland. - Tiffany (9/5): Great location! - Clean, basic accommodations with convenient location to Kirkjufell. Shared kitchen available, though we didn't end up using it. Good value for the price paid. Bathroom on small side.
- Lisa (10/5): - This apartment was a great one nightvstay for us. Would've been a great place for more nights because of the extra space, the kitchen and living areas and the wonderful view! We stayes in apartment #1 and it looked right at Kirkjufell!
- Huang (10/5): Wonderful memory!! - The hotel’s location is away from the town center, but it offers tranquility and exceptional views of Kirkjufell. I wish I had known before we went, would have booked at least 1 or 2 extra days to stay there as a base to explore.

- Harish (10/5): Great stay with nice view and Aurora - Perfect stay to view northern lights from the hotel, don't have to drive up anywhere else in the night to catch the Aurora. Great views of Kirkjufell from the room. Very quiet and less than 10min drive to the city center.
