• Burak (8/5): Sehr zu Frieden - Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Das ganze Hotel ist vorbildlich sauber und das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut Leider haben einige Handtücher hartnäckige Flecken, die sich auch nach dem Waschen nicht entfernen lassen – vermutlich von Make-up. Es wäre schön, wenn diese Handtücher ausgetauscht werden könnten. Ansonsten sind die Zimmerdamen wirklich sehr gründlich und das Hotel insgesamt top sauber.

• Klaus (3/5): Nicht nochmal, der Gestank ist lange in der Nase. - Das Ambiente einer ehemaligen Kervansary ist schon besonders. Die Lage man ist fußläufig schnell im Zentrum. Wir mussten 3mal unser Zimmer wechseln da der Gestank der Kanalisation im Bad nicht zu ertragen war. Die Dusche und das Waschbecken hatten keinen Geruchsverschluss (Syphon)das war in allen Zimmern der Fall.
• Robin (8/5): Lots of historic character right in the centre of town - Central location was very handy to everything, the reception desk staff helped us get a carpark out front which was amazing, the restaurant on-site has a huge menu, helpful and friendly staff and huge tasty meals. The breakfast spread was good quality and variety. The hotel room was quite comfortable and cozy for 3 travellers - there was enough space for people and bags, everything was clean, we enjoyed our stay. There was no hot water for showers in the morning, the restaurant staff were smoking right next to our table while we ate, car parking on the streets nearby is total chaos in the early evening so make time for that on arrival.

• Güler (2/5): - Wir haben 2x Übernachtungen getätigt 30.09. - 02.10.2025. Zunächst war ich von dem historischen Gebäude sehr beeindruckt, jedoch stolperte ich in der letzten Nacht über einen grossen, nicht fixierten dünnen Teppich im Zimmer, fiel zwischen dem Einzelbett und der Wand, knallte mit dem linken Arm auf den Kühlschrank und holte mir einen Knochenbruch an der Schulter. Ausser, dass mir ein Krankenwagen an der Rezeption bestellt wurde, kamen keinerlei Fragen oder eine Entschuldigung für die mangelnde Sicherheit im Zimmer - bis heute nicht! Leider habe ich in meinem Schmerz nicht detailliert genug nachgedacht, ich hätte sofort die Polizei zur Aufnahme des Falles einschalten müssen. Ob mir nun das Krankenhaus Bericht und Fotos ausreichen werden, werden wir sehen. Auch hatten wir am Abend in dem Hauseigenen Restaurant gegessen, mein Sohn ass den „Sivas Köfte“ und ab ca. 3 Uhr morgens bis zum Sonnenschein hat das Kind nur noch gebrochen (Beleg vorhanden!). Wir haben an diesem Abend nicht einmal ein Glas Wasser ausserhalb des Hauses getrunken. Das Sicherheitskonzept des Hauses ist unterste Schublade nicht fixierte Teppiche, merkwürdige etwa 3 cm hohe Doppelleisten zwischen Bad und Zimmer, ein nicht funktionierender Aufzug draußen an der Tür für Rollstühle und die Erscheinung eine Augenwischerei…!

• Claire (8/5): - L’emplacement est pratique et permet de faire ses achats au centre de Sivas. Le café restaurant est génial et on s’y sent vraiment bien. C’est une bulle de fraîcheur dans la ville de Sivas. L’air ne circulait pas dans les chambres. La clim était trop bruyante. Pourtant la météo était fraîche. Aussi la réception ne nous a pas expliqué tous les équipements de l’hôtel. À savoir qu’il y a des thermes au sous-sol avec 30min offertes pour les clients.

We had some issues accessing the parking offered by the hotel which led to some unpleasantness - the receptionist at the time misled us. The hotel did cover the cost of the mistake but it shouldn’t have happened. Wifi was below average.

Standart odada kaldık ama odalar yine de çok küçüktü, bunu otelin tarihi yapı olmasına bağlıyorum. Yatak konforu harikaydı bu arada. Kahvaltı yeterliydi ancak kahvaltı reyonuyla ilgilenen kimse yoktu. Kahve makinesi kirliydi bardak koyamadım, çay semaverinin alt kapağı suyla dolmuş görüntü hoş değildi. Tuvaletten bazen pis kokular odayı basıyordu. Cam bizi kurtardı kokudan. Fiyat performans olarak bence fiyatı yüksek. 2.-3. Tercih olabilir. Yine de teşekkürler Behrampaşa Hotel…

• Marina Sergey Anton (1/5): - Отель находится в историческом здании, с виду все очень красиво. Концепция интересная. Внутри под стекляной крышей ресторан, недешево, но очень вкусно. Завтрак шведский стол, хороший, выбор есть. Парковаться можно на соседних улицах, есть несколько мест за отелем для собственной парковки (нужно спросить на ресепшн, помогут). Первое, что испортило впечатление: не смогла оплатить отель картами (разными), на ресепшене сказали, банк отказывает в проведении операции, хотя до этого везде расплачивалась, и в ресторане отеля позже тоже все прошло. В Турции жили в нескольких отелях, нигде не было такой проблемы. Пришлось платить в евро, сдачу дали лирами. Прям сразу впечатление сильно испортилось. Сам номер нормальный, но в санузле очень плохая сантехника, просто разваливается,

• Verified traveler (6/5): Schade - Leider sind die Duschen sehr (sehr!) klein, auch in den Suiten. Besonders ärgerlich war die Baustelle im unmittelbar angrenzenden Cafe. Das hat mindestens 1 Woche gedauert. Warum direkt an einem historischen Gebäude (Denkmal nehme ich an), unmittelbar an den Fenstern des Hotels, ein Cafe gebaut / ausgebaut werden kann, bleibt mir ein Rätsel. Das Cafe gehört wohl dem (ebenfalls historischen) Hamam nebenan. Das zeigt mir, dass die ursprüngliche (und hervorragende) Idee bereits unterhöhlt wird. Schade, ansonsten hätte dieses Hotel mein Favorit werden können. Deswegen werde ich hier nicht ohne Weiteres bleiben. Ich habe für die nächste anstehende Reise ein anderes Hotel gebucht, was auch nicht perfekt ist, aber mehr Raum bietet.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Konumu oldukça merkezi. Bu durum hem avantaj hem de dezavantaj. Bölge ve restauranı işlek, otopark sorunu var. Arabasız giderseniz çok rahat, ancak arabayla giderseniz zor olabilir. Ayrıca etraf kafe ve otel dolu olduğu için akşam saat 10-11 e kadar çevreden gürültü sesleri geldi. Ama yeme içme konusunda sorun yaşamazsınız. Standart oda bir tık dar ama kullanışlı. Banyo temiz, dolaplar yeterli. Eski bir han, tarihi izlenimi de var. Genel olarak orta-iyi bir deneyimdi.
• Fatma nur (10/5): - Tarihi yerlerini keşfetmek için gittiğimiz Sivas’ta, iki gece Behrampaşa Otel’de konakladık. Öncelikle merkeze yürüme mesafesi ve tarihi bir konak olduğu için tercih ettik. Yorumlarda kahvaltı ile ilgili olumsuz eleştiriler vardı, fakat hiçbir sorun yaşamadık. Odalarımız tertemizdi, çalışanlar çok ilgiliydi. En önemlisi restoran bölümü gece geç saatlere kadar açıktı ve yemekleri çok güzeldi. Çok memnun kaldık. Tek sorun wifi iyi çekmiyordu, onu da çok dert etmedik açıkcası. Teşekkür ederiz her şey için.

Sadece sabah kahvaltisi hep ayniydi. Biraz degisiklik olursa daha guzel olur. Otel hemen merkezde. Yuruyerek heryere ulasabilirsiniz.

Der kan af enkelte undtagelser nævnes lugtgener på badeværelset og tekniske problemer med værelsens låsesystem, dog blev sidstnævnt udbedret med det samme.

• Matthew (5/5): Nice room, leaking shower, bad AC, smokey restaurant - The location and building are great - wonderful building and lovely room. Helpful and friendly staff. The common covered courtyard is the restaurant and it is very smokey starting very early in the morning. The rooms open to this common area so also become smokey. The AC did not function so the room was hot, and the seal around the shower stall was not present so the bathroom floor was considerably wet most of the time.
• Elena (10/5): Erwartung voll erfüllt - Ein Hotel in einem historischen Gemäuer.Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehle es deshalb auch weiter. Das Restaurant sollte man auf jeden Fall nutzen, tolles Ambiente ( offenes Dach und Sonnensegel) und reichlich Auswahl an landestypischen Gerichten.
• Belinda (10/5): Great experience staying in an ancient caravanserai - We loved staying in an ancient caravanserai that had been restored. It was in a great location close to all the monuments and the historic hammam, still in operation. The central area where the cameleers once socialised is now a restaurant/cafe, and also just a great place to hang out - as the rooms, while very comfortable are small. The bedding quality etc is excellent though. The staff are great, with one of the restaurant staff speaking English - the other staff don’t really speak much but Google translate does the job. :) The rooms are small - the booking site said 20m square but that seems like a stretch.

• EAM442 (10/5): Living in history - This is a beautiful, historic building in which to stay. Our room was more than comfortable, but keeping many of the historic features of this old Han. The restaurant was very good, the self-service breakfasts were enormous. All staff were helpful and friendly, especially Jasmin on Reception and Osman in the restaurant who both had English. Osman went out of his way to advise us. To counteract a previous review there was loads of very hot water, you just had to wait for it to arrive. And yes you may look out onto where cars are parked but the Han is in the middle of Sivas so you cannot expect pretty views of nature. We were very happy on our three night stay there.

• Meike (5/5): As a non smoker, I would not stay here again. - The hotel is unique and the room was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. The restaurant occupies the bottom floor and the rooms are around this on the floors above, looking down on the restaurant. There is a lot of smoking in the restaurant and this smell goes upstairs and can be smelled from the room. My clothes I was wearing at dinner and my hair absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke. There is no non smoking section. I would not stay there again.
• Murray (8/5): Beautiful hotel. But stinks of cigarettes from the restaurant below. - The hotel is so quaint. The rooms are very cool. And the beds are extremely comfortable. Everything was very clean. The showers are a little small. The restaurant below allows smoking in all parts, which is disgusting, and they have the windows open into the foyer where the hotel rooms are located, so everything stinks of cigarettes.
• jbschmor (4/5): a disappointment - I fully appreciate the historical renovation to make this old Han a comfortable hotel. The arcade gallery halls above the courtyard are beautiful. But I was surprised that the large restaurant (enclosed) courtyard allowed smoking. When I went to breakfast there were people smoking next to and behind the table I chose. My room was a corner 'suite' - which meant it had an extra kind of nook that barely had room for a small chair. I opened one of the windows for night air - but because I was on the side of the hotel that backs on to a street where delivery trucks come and go for a nearby grocery store, the early morning noise was especially bad. The painting on the cross vaulted ceiling was lovely. The bed was clean and comfortable. But the bathroom did not have hot water, no matter how long I waited - and such poor drainage that the whole bathroom floor was soon a puddle. The hand-held spray device was cosmetic - not even attached to real plumbing. Though there was a room service menu, it became very clear with one call that there is not really room service at this hotel. Indeed the restaurant staff seemed rather grumpy or bored at all times. There should be a relationship with the fabulous old hammam next door to this hotel - but apparently the hotel and hammam have no coordinated booking. I stayed here one night and am sorry to say I was glad to leave.

• Piotr (9/5): Absolutely great place to stay, unique due to its history. - The building dates back to 16th century (it used to be a caravansary) and the atmosphere is absolutely unique. It is located in close proximity to main points of interest in Sivas including Gök Medrese and Sivas Congress Museum. The room was great for overnight stay. If you have more baggage with you and wish to stay for a longer time, make sure to book the room in upper part of the building (larger ones).

• tourtoturkey (8/5): We travelled to the history at Behrampaşa Hotel - It was a very good opportunity to have this different hotel alternative in Sivas. A han was converted to a hotel after a successful restoration and we had a chance to experience an old han and so travel back to history. The room was large enough and breakfast was satisfactory. The personnel makes a part of the success at a hotel and the hotel's personnel was friendly and helpful.

• John (10/5): Incredibly ambiance at reasonable price - Incredible atmosphere being in a historic caravansaray, the rooms are very tastefully decorated with real wooden floors. Some reviews mention they are small but I thought the size was reasonable. Staff is very helpful and breakfast best I had in Turkey. Love the central restaurant area to hang out. Very quiet in the rooms. Very well located. Definitely an underrated place perhaps due to being located in Sivas which I found to be a surprisingly pleasant place to visit. No issues

• Nermin (6/5): Sabah saatinde yüksek sesli müzik rahatsız edici - Otel olarak güzel fakat kahvaltıyı vasat bulduk. Kahvaltıda kapalı su verilmemesi, kahvaltı salonunun sanki gazinoya gitmişiz gibi yüksek bölümlü müziği bizi rahatsız etti. Resepsiyondaki görevliler kibardı. Kahvaltı salonundakiler de öyle.
• Emine (8/5): - Prachtig historisch hotel, maar helaas is het personeel in vnl. het restaurant onvriendelijk en niet altijd behulpzaam. Bij de receptie kan het erg verschillen. Het eten is het restaurant is heerlijk, maar het ontbijt valt tegen. Vooral in een land als Turkije en stad als Sivas onbegrijpelijk. Deze keer was ik met mijn zussen en had ik voor het eerst een 3persoonskamer, maar we konden weinig kwijt. Nergens plek om je jas of handdoek op te hangen. Een smalle kast met 4 hangertjes. Een mini badkamer waar je je kont niet kan keren. Te weinig stopcontacten. De kamer werd iedere dag goed schoongemaakt.
