• Haydar (7/5): Good for a short stay if you need to be near the airport, but needs significant upgrades in facilities and internet. - Location & Safety: Excellent location near Airport Road in a safe and vibrant neighborhood. • Cleanliness: Rooms are clean and well-maintained. • Service: Friendly staff and a generally quiet atmosphere (except for occasional events). • Airport Shuttle: They offer a great shuttle service. Although I didn't use it upon arrival, they kindly provided a complimentary and welcoming transfer to the airport. Missing Amenities: No electric kettle, no mini-fridge, and no bathrobes/slippers in the room. • Maintenance: The shower door was broken and couldn't be closed. Lighting in the room was also too dim. • Poor Wi-Fi: The internet connection was extremely weak and almost unusable. • Limited Breakfast: Very basic menu (mostly eggs). The kitchen and café quality is generally low. • Towels: Inconsistent towel service (often only one provided, and sometimes they looked old). • No Facilities: The hotel lacks a Gym and a Spa.

Tv satellite doesnt work at all. Avoid the restaurant. Showers are ok but blocked drains. Not all room Doors don’t have internal locks. Loud music downstairs all day.

• Rosie (7/5): - I stayed at this hotel for one month, and overall, it is a beautiful place. It’s clean and conveniently located close to everything. I would like to highlight two receptionists who were doing a great job—they were very friendly and welcoming. One of them is Biruk, who made my stay more pleasant. However, I did experience several issues during my stay. One major concern was when a staff member was sent to my room without any prior notice. Despite having a “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door, he knocked repeatedly. When I opened the door, he was very rude and even swore at me. This situation was completely unacceptable and made me feel very uncomfortable. Another issue was with the laundry service. I asked the hotel to wash a small number of clothes (less than 10 items), but I was charged between 4800 Ethiopian Birr. Later, when I asked people outside the hotel, they told me the normal price should be around 2000 Birr. It felt like I was overcharged, especially as a visitor. I also had a negative experience with one receptionist who was very rude in both her attitude and the way she spoke. Unfortunately, when I raised these concerns with the manager, he did not take any action and simply responded without resolving the issues. I believe the management team needs better training in handling customer concerns. In summary, while the hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and in a good location, guests should be cautious. I recommend always asking for prices upfront, especially for services like laundry, and clearly communicating your preferences.

• Dred (8/5): Overall, it was a wonderful stay defined by a beautiful atmosphere and exceptional cleanliness, despite the dining optio - What I loved most about the property was the incredible environment and the beautiful surroundings, which perfectly captured the charm of the area. The atmosphere was welcoming and well-maintained, making it a very pleasant place to stay. I was also deeply impressed by the housekeeping staff; the cleanliness was exceptional and their attention to detail was evident every day. It is clear that the team takes great pride in the upkeep of the hotel, and their hard work truly enhanced my overall experience. While I enjoyed many aspects of my stay, I found that the dining experience didn't quite meet my expectations. The food was unfortunately not very flavorful, and I felt the pricing was a bit high for the quality provided. This was especially noticeable because there are so many local restaurants just outside the property offering delicious, authentic meals at much more reasonable prices. I believe improving the menu or adjusting the value for money would make the guest experience much better.

Die Rooftopbar gibt es nicht mehr und das Frühstück wird auf Anfrage serviert. Flughafenshuttle ist kostenfrei. Die Kommunikation im.Vorfeld lief nicht ganz rund, bzw es gab keine Rückmeldung durch das Hotel.

I brought this to the attention of the hotel manager, Mr. Asmarew, who listened carefully to my concerns and responded with genuine professionalism. He took immediate action to make my stay as comfortable as possible, something I truly appreciate. We also discussed the hotel’s potential—its close proximity to Bole Airport is a major advantage. At the same time, I shared my observations that the hotel could benefit from some renovation and optimization. Mr. Asmarew agreed with my feedback and assured me that management is actively working on improvements. Despite the initial issues, the staff’s kindness, responsiveness, and willingness to listen made a significant positive impact. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team, and in particular to Mr. Asmarew, whose commitment to guest satisfaction helped turn my stay into a memorable one. I genuinely believe that with some updates, Venetian Hotel can reach its full potential, and I look forward to seeing the improvements on my next visit.

• Miroslav (10/5): Amazing 10/10 - I stayed at the Venetian Hotel in Addis Ababa for 10 days and had a truly wonderful experience. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, and the hotel itself is clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The restaurant serves delicious food, and the bar has a lively, welcoming atmosphere—perfect for meeting locals, who are incredibly kind and sociable. A special mention goes to Manager Akiya, who welcomed me in my own language and was always ready to assist and guide me through my Addis adventure. Rahel, Biruk, Weyni, and Titi will forever have a place in my heart—their warmth and smiles made my stay unforgettable. Fantastic team, fantastic experience. I truly hope to see you all again soon!

They are so smiley and welcoming and helped with everything that we needed. They made the hotel stay for us. Delicious made to order breakfast including including a hot breakfast (try the Ethiopian Full), fresh juice, tea/ coffee, cake. Much better than other more expensive hotel buffet breakfasts. Great that the shuttle service is included. Nice clean rooms. Good location. Nice restaurant food. My new favourite place to stay in Addis! We will be back! The road outside is a bit tricky for some taxis to find.
