• IanC Warminster (10/5): Perfect for a family stay and great value - The facilities are excellent. The food at the Marriot is great value, and the views are terrific. We went for a big family wedding and everything was perfect. The instructions given through booking.com for key collection were confusing. The keys were available from the reception desk at the Marriot hotel which is simple but the instructions gave different information that had us searching for 30 minutes looking for the pick-up location. We were not aware that the apartments were part of the hotel. When we went to reception for help locating the key pick up point, we found out that keys were given out there.

• Vicki (9/5): Lovely Denia apartments with Hôtel facilities - Great size of apartment Able to use hotel facilities Use of a bike store was excellent for us Didn’t expect to have housekeeping in the apartment. Lovely location Nice food in the sports bar - excellent service too. Ants in the kitchen and a blocked kitchen sink but both quickly dealt with. Description of the apartment mentioned a hot tub but it’s actually a jacuzzi bath which is impossible to fill due to very slow water pressure in the tap so we were unable to use it. Golf was expensive compared to other courses we played in Spain , also offered no discount fee to apartment residents. Our feedback is just our opinion of our stay and we would definitely return again as we found the staff and facilities were very good.

• Carlos (9/5): Apartamentos exclusivos cerca de Denia - Amplitud del apartamento. Calidad de las instalaciones. Limpieza excelente. Amabilidad del personal. El SPA está fenomenal, muy luminoso y tranquilo. Pueblos cercanos que merece una visita tranquila de medio día (p. ej. Benitachel, Gata de Gorgosl). La zona es muy verde (fui en pleno agosto), y permite excursiones a pie y en bici. Resort con varias ofertas gastronómicas, y en pueblos cercanos hay buena oferta de comida típica. Mención especial los bares de tapeo dentro del Mercado de Abastos de Denia. Se llega a oir algo de ruido de la piscina ya que los apartamentos están orientados hacia la piscina comunitaria.
• Marco (10/5): Great refurbished apartment - quality & service what one can expect from Marriott - apartments separated from hotel, 2 minute walk. Quietly situated, next to golf course. Surrounded by nice green areas, trees. Nothing really. family hotel with kids. So one can expect some crying etc. But can't really avoid that.

Envejece de maravilla, desayuno excepcional (la terraza sobre la piscina es una zona privilegiada para ver el paisaje) y muy buenos restaurantes en las instalaciones. Una boda inglesa al aire libre en la zona ajardinada de los apartamentos en plena hora de la siesta -17h…pero les perdonamos este fallo, jaja.

Se pueden utilizar las instalaciones del hotel (gimnasio, spa etc) No hay ascensor. Si el apartamento está en la planta superior hay que cargar con la maleta por las escaleras

• Rebecca (7/5): Nice spacious apartment but a bit run down - Lovely apartment and spacious Hotel staff helpful We have stayed several times but this apartment was a little run down even though it was more modern, there were a few things broken and we had to call maintenance. Broken safe, lots, mirror, wardrobe door and the kitchen is t that well equipped The hotel pool wasn’t attended to that well, the gentlemen pool attendant wasn’t helpful with umbrellas beds etc and there were a lot of cups etc left around the pool However the young man pool attendant was super helpful shame he wasn’t there every day. Having said all that the hotel is lovely and hotel staff are good

A policy about this should be imposed so you do not feel awkward when taking one from not being used and immediately have someone telling you it is theirs.

• Malcolm (9/5): apart from shower very enjoyable - it had everything for a relaxing few days plus golf if you need it we had a wonderful 2bed luxury apartment overlooking the pool ,But the main shower in the big bedroom was very below average it needs a makeover it has mold between the wall and floor of shower grouting needs redoing and the silicone sealant replacing then it will be perfect.

On first floor, no lifts and we are older generation so difficult with suitcases . Weather not good but not your fault!

• Graham (8/5): Over priced drinks in the hotel - i have been staying hear for years and always have a good time the only down side on this trip is the prices of the drinks in the hotel have gone up dramatically 16 euros for a gin and tonic and because of this we had most of our drink at the golf club The cost of the drinks
• Batten (8/5): The hotel is well maintained and the pool areas are clean with plenty of sun loungers. The staff are friendly and profes - Lovely big apartment. Very clean and a quiet pool area. Easy less than 5 min walk to the main hotel. The menus are limited at the hotel. The pool bar restaurant is the usual pizza, burger sandwiches. Which is a shame. The salads weren’t great. The food at the golf club wasn’t the best but the burger was consistently good. We like tapas so would like to see traditional tapas in a Spanish hotel. The upstairs lobby bar is lovely but only opens in the evening. Would be nice if it was open all day so you can get a coffee in the morning or have a drink on the terrace in the day. In the evening the terrace is in shade. Service is slow at the bar but the staff are friendly and polite. Quality of the drinks was consistently good.

• Jacqueline (9/5): Comfortable and homely - This is a fabulous place to stay and it was well worth paying extra for the superb breakfast. This was our second visit here and we knew what to expect after an amazing first visit. Our only disappointment was that our apartment was not quite as beautiful as on our first stay as we had an older type apartment for 4 people as opposed to a more modern one. However all the facilities were still there, including a spa bath. Having a newer apartment as on our first visit. You spoilt us the first time around with modern decor and fittings

• El (9/5): Wonderful resort and apartment complex - This was our second time staying at the La Sella Apartments, and the fourth time at the complex. We returned after a four year gap and the overall quality continues to impress. It is a wonderful and peaceful resort, with the excellently managed facilities that you would expect from a Marriott resort. The apartments are well serviced and are well equipped for a longer stay holiday. Reception staff at the Marriott looked after our booking arrangements - extending our stay to 2 weeks - and were wonderfully friendly and helpful in assisting us with all aspect of our stay. Highly recommended. The large walk in shower cubicle need to be upgraded (just new tiling, regrouting and new chromework for the glass doors and enclosures) to bring them into line with the tip-top quality of the rest of the unit.

Aparrment was definitely not geared up for self catering, barely anything to cook with, no towel or tea towel, not much to assist in food prep. Kettles leaked, one leaked exceptionally badly. Floor was filthy, we booked for 3 people, only 2 mugs supplied.

• Margaret (7/5): Great location, super friendly staff- very quiet location - The location is perfect for both Denia & Javea. You do need to have a car though as there’s no facilities within walking distance. The hotel has restaurants, the food & staff are excellent, but if staying longer than a week then you may need to venture out of the complex. The swimming pools both at The apartment & hotel were superb, always plenty of sun beds & umbrellas for shade. Pool towels supplied daily. Very helpful pool attendants on duty 0900-late. The apartment is huge, great size bedroom with jacuzzi bath & a separate shower room, both bedroom & shower room had vanity basins & hairdryers. There is a full size washer & dryer & lots of storage space. The apartment kitchen wasn’t equipped to do anything other than prepare breakfast due to lack of utensils, which is a shame as there is a full oven, microwave & dishwasher. There was no toaster though & only a small travel kettle. If you wanted toast you had to turn on the oven, there was no kitchen knives other than a bread knife & only 1 small frying pan & 2 large pans, & a plastic spatula. No tin opener or bottle opener. The tiles in the shower cubicle were loose & falling off. The lounge area & dining area are lovely, could do with ‘ softening’ with a few cushions, place mats for the table, a rug maybe?

• Rebecca (8/5): Lovely holiday, helpful staff, perfect location for us. - Excellent swimming pool, if staying at The Residences you have the pool there but also use of the main hotel pool. Good splash pools for small children in both locations, really clean and well maintained facilities. You need a car or taxi to get to Denia or any of the surrounding villages, we needed good access to Denia and Orba and got a hire car so it was ideal.

I'd like to call out the lady who cleaned our apartment regularily - she helped me enormously letting me spend more time with the kids. 2. Stunning and well kept grounds - perfect for relaxation 3. Delicious and high quality food in restaurants. A little bit remote. With two teenagers it would have been good to have a regular hotel bus into Denia. This may even attract more families with older kids.
