Gaia gave us very clear directions that were easy to follow. She greeted us and showed us the apartment which was very clean and spacious. Her recommendations on where to eat also came in very handy. We felt very safe staying at Rosa Magra Guest House. A big bonus was that we got to make use of the balcony for an afternoon aperitivo overlooking Corsa Italia. Type a message

The accommodation was 2 minutes from the main square. Please book this accomodation, you will be very pleased with it and certainly recommend it.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect Central Location! - This is a great place to stay! Absolutely central in Sorrento located very close to the Sorrento Train Station and the Piazza Tasso. Almost just across the street was a supermarket (owner suggested) with a wide selection of items. I actually made two meals from the prepared meat and deli sections. Speaking of food, there are all sorts of restaurants that are very close to Rosa Magra particularly around Piazza Tasso where restaurants are open late and a focal point of activity. Putting this into perspective Piazza Tasso is only about 160 meters from Rosa Magra and the train station about 250 meters. I was surprised that despite being so centrally located, my room was very quiet facing away from the street towards lemon trees beyond a courtyard. The owner, Gaia, could not have been more friendly or helpful! She actually helped me translate a document from English to Italian and explained government procedures and where to go to file those papers. I give Rosa Magra, and Gaia, an unqualified thumbs up!!

Check-in was easy, breakfast was always ready and waiting for us, excursions from Sorrento were easy to arrange, and the location was wonderful. Couldn't believe the size of the room -- three adult friends in one room and we had plenty of space to spare, and the room was so clean and bright. Such an amazing find!
• Barbara (10/5): Exceptional! - Coming back to Sorrento, Rosa Magra Guest House will be my 1st choice! The location was perfect, right in the center of Sorrento which made it so easy to go shopping or to restaurants or to walk to the boats for excursions. What made it very PERSONAL and extra special was the owner, Gaia, who guided us to the best excursions, restaurants, and made reservations for us and was always available by text. We had the room with the balcony. The room was spacious, very clean and updated bathroom with a separate toilet shower area, and separate sink area which made it easy for 2 people to get ready at the same time. She even had white slippers at the side of each bed. Gaia owns Rosa Magra Guest House, which has been in her family for generations, and she takes great PRIDE in it!!! It was our pleasure getting to know her!!

• AUGUSTO DARIO (10/5): - La habitación está muy bien. Pese al tamańo justo, es muy acogedora. Está bien decorada y con buen gusto. El colchón y almohadas perfectos. Climatización muy bien y pese a ser una habitación interna, tiene una ventana en altura que deja entrar el aire pero sin vista. El bańo es amplio y está muy bien. La única observación que encontramos (que en realidad no es una crítica) es que la heladera es muy pequeńa, nada más. Esta muy bien ubicada, a tan solo unos metros de donde comienza el centro de Sorrento. El desayuno sin lujos pero muy bueno y cabe destacar a la anfitriona que qué siempre fue muy amable y servicial con nosotros.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing. This is ideally located in the heart of Sorrento, a stones throw from the train/bus station and port whilst in the centre of the bars/shops and restaraunts. Look no further for a base to explore the Amalfi Coast. Very little walking necessary. The rooms are tucked off the high street with no noise - so impressive!! Gaia gives that personal touch that rivals Air BnB. She offers recommendations, is thoughtful and kind and truly made our holiday. I would go again in a heartbeat and truly recommend this easy and convenient location, kept bright and clean by Gaia.

• Vienna (10/5): I will stay at Rosa Magra Guesthouse again!!! - ARRIVAL: I was greeted by a very kind lady named, Gaia. She helped me carry my one luggage up the stairs to my hotel room. BUILDING: It's a historical building (see attached image) with modern interior in each room, & separate kitchen on the same floor. Location is right in the heart of all the action. It's walking distance to everything, especially the train & bus station (4mins). I love that I can shop across the street &then drop off my stuff in the hotel & walk right back out. BEDROOM: The CLEANEST room to my high standards. It has a closet, fridge, safe, AC/Heater, and Smart TV (you can log on to your Netflix Account- just make sure to fully log back out). The window has a button to open and close, which Gaia will walk you through once you get in the room. I loved how comfortable the room is and very well insulated (not thin walls)! Bring slippers/flip flops though to walk around the tile floor. The entire room is exactly like the pictures. BATHROOM: It came with fresh towels (& towel heater), and toiletries. Just like any old building, expect to wait a few seconds until the hot water comes on. HOSTESS: Gaia is warm, hospitable, and always willing to help. Her English is pretty good, as well. She will assist whenever you need her. She even helped me book a house call for a professional masseuse, for a 1hr relaxing massage, after my trip excursion from Capri. Gaia made sure there’s light breakfast prepared every morning. She's just amazing (no exaggeration)!
