- Alys (9/5): Excellent stay, would recommend! - The property is exactly how it looks! Really spacious, beautiful apartment with excellent amenities. The blinds in the twin room were broken so we had to put blankets up to block out the light to sleep.

- Helen (10/5): A beautiful place to stay. - The New Town Idyll lived up to its name - it turned out to be a true idyll. We were a group of six adults who all enjoyed the flat itself (very spacious, lovely decor, well equipped, warm and comfortable) and the area of its location (central and so it's very easy to reach places of interest either on foot or by public transport). We just loved it all! The only thing we felt would have been useful to us while staying in the flat would have been a booklet about the flat and how things work (i.e. instructions for the microwave and the hob/oven). There is an electronic/online booklet that gave some useful information but a hard copy that could be browsed through quickly, without having to resort to screens, when something crops up, we would have appreciated so perhaps others would too?

- Angela (9/5): Perfect. - Beautiful, classic simple decor. Very roomy for my family. High ceilings lots of light. Quiet neighbourhood. No items to wash up with eg dishcloth, scourer, brus( even though the kitchen was very well kitted out for cooking.

- Robyn (9/5): A Lovely stay in Edinburgh - Amenities nice and lots of space for a family of 6. Great to have a laundry room too. Location was good with some nice restaurants nearby as well as a Tesco express. Previous reviews said “lots of stairs” but we were still shocked by the amount of stairs from the street to the front door of the flat (6 or 7 flights). Lovely neighbour helped as we’d been travelling for 5 weeks and had heavy suitcases. Twin room single beds uncomfortable for adults. Stained upholstery on couch.
