Maybe horse riding lessons & definitely a spa. You have a spa “room” by the pool. Open it & use it on weekends. That better than someone setting up a table in your room. That’s quite disruptive.

Helen (9/5): Excellent. Pity about the road, which admittedly is no fault of the hotel. - It is a superb hotel and every detail was well-considered and executed. The last 4 kilometres of road to reach the hotel, is extremely rutted. For that reason I will probably not stay there again.

The horses are beautiful. This is a 5-start venue, however the service and communication was 1-2 star, everyone from management to staff should go to hotel school to learn what 5-star means.

The tasting menu was lovely experience, but we had to wait quite a while between courses. the second night we ordered from the menu while others were having the tasting menu. The service could have been better. maybe separate the tasting menu area from the rest of the diners who order from the menu. The staff at reception were helpful when we booked the sip and paint activity but unfortunately, they forgot to set it up for the time requested. Also, when we checked out it was not charged, we had to remind them which delayed our check out. Overall they were friendly and helpful

Service was good during breakfast. Sparkling clean breakfast / dining room, with windows being cleaned daily. Accommodation was superb. Lots of fresh flowers. We appreciated Lisa's assistance in directing us to Ardmore Ceramics Dinners were disappointing. The 4-course tasting menu was overpriced and frankly nothing special - e.g. pap and aubergine course didn't impress me at all. To pay R 625 p.p. for this was unrealistic and a rip-off. Rather order a la carte. For the last 2 nights, we were requested to be seated for dinner at 6 pm. When we arrived at 6 pm, we were the only guests in the dining room, staff were still busy setting up tables, sweeping floors, lighting candles, and we waited quite a while for our pre-ordered meals to arrive. On the last evening: - I ordered my steak medium rare; it came well done. - My wife's food was cold and the sauce only arrived halfway during our dinner

Xolile (10/5): By far the best experience we’ve had on holiday - Such a beautiful place. The professionalism of the staff is on another level. The manner in which they addressed us - top tier. We had a great experience. Dinner was amazing. Our room!!!! SO BEAUTIFUL. We didn’t have a phone in our room so we communicated via whatsapp whenever we needed something. But network was not good so messages were delayed.
