• Katri (8/5): Lemmikkiystävällinen mukava hotelli - Aamiainen oli oikein hyvä ja monipuolinen. Huone oli remontoitu vähän aikaa sitten ja siellä oli hyvät sängyt ja miellyttävä tummasävyinen moderni sisustus. Mukanamme oli kolme koiraa, erittäin lemmikkiystävällinen hotelli. Pieniä puutoksia, kuten wc:n ovi ei sulkeutunut kunnolla. Huonessa oli yöllä hieman kuuma, emmekä löytäneet ilmastoinnin säätöä. Kuitenkin positiivinen yöpyminen.

Chambre bruyante : ascenseur, passage des clients parlant fort devant notre chambre pour aller salle de restauration ou prendre l ascenseur. La chambre fait très vieillotte : décalage impressionnant avec le hall d accueil Manque un petit frigo.

Koirat kiittävät herkkusäkeistään. - Eriomainen Huoneeseen tullessa illalla on täysin pimeää ja ei meinannut löytyä sille käyntikorttiavaimelle oikeaa paikkaa. Olisi hyvä, jos siellä olisi jonkinlainen yövalo palamassa, ettei tarvitse pimeässä tarpoa!

• Edith (8/5): - Wir waren im neu renovierten Teil des Hotels. Obwohl gleichzeitig ein Bus ankam, war es komplett ruhig in der Nacht. Frühstück war ausreichend, gute Auswahl. Parkplätze stehen genügend zur Verfügung.

• Chrysa Avramidou (7/5): - Μας ενημέρωσαν πως λόγω εργασιών ανακαίνισης, μας μεταφέρουν στο Karhu hotel, 200m δίπλα. Οπότε τα σχόλια ειναι για αυτό το ξενοδοχείο. Ευγενικο και χαμογελαστό προσωπικό. Υπέροχο, πλούσιο και ποικίλο πρωινό. Εχει ωραίο σαλόνι στη ρεσεψιόν του ξενοδοχείου και μπιλιάρδο να παίξεις εάν θες, δωρεάν! Έτσι περάσαμε το βράδυ μας εκει. Δωρεάν, ασφαλες, αλλα ανοιχτό πάρκινγκ. Εκεί αφήσαμε τις μηχανές μας. Κανονικά λόγω εργασιών δεν θα έπρεπε να δίνεται το ξενοδοχείο ως διαθέσιμο. Αφού δεν ειναι. Τα μπάνια καλο θα ηταν να ανακαινιστουν κάποια στιγμή. Πολύ στενά.

• Farah (9/5): Superb - Happy with our stay. The place was beyond my expectations, since it was cheap. Its an old buildning but its clean, comfortable, nice breakfast (tho egg is abit watery🤭) but everything is good. Sauna is a plus. We checked in late after new years eve but the lady i talked on the phone was really nice, making sure everything is fine. When i met her in person, i was abit confused at start because i thought shes angry.lol The language confused me🤭 my husband explained to me Finnish sounds angry but they are not angry, its just the language is very strong and looks them tough.lol

• Lilja (8/5): Yhden yön välipysähdys - Ihan ok yöpyminen. Huone on siisti, mutta vanha kokolattiamatto tekee huoneesta tunkkaisen ja hieman epähygieenisen oloisen. Muutoin pinnat ja lakanat olivat puhtaat. Naapurihuoneiden äänet kuuluvat melko hyvin huoneisiin ja onneksi ei naapurihuoneisiin osunut yömyöhään juhlivia matkalaisia. Aamupala oli maistuva. Hieman päivitystä yleisilmeeseen olisi paikallaan!

The staff was very helpful and positive, the room was ok, the breakfast was ok (some special varieties, all necessities available), the hotel premises just ok, even little oldish... Good parking place fro the car just in front of the hotel. Nothing special...

• Dieter (4/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt in einer Baustelle, ist abgewohnt, schmuddelig und sanierungsbedürftig. Ab 06:06Uhr begann der Baulärm. Betten durchgelegen. Der Preis von 171€ ist für diesen vorgefundenen Zustand nicht gerechtfertigt. Das um das Hotel mal gebaut wird ist nicht zu vermeiden. Hier hätte man den Gästen jedoch mit einen Preisnachlass für die Unannehmlichkeiten die der Baustellenbetrieb mit sich bringt entgegen kommen können.
• Eeva-Liisa (4/5): - Tuskastuttavan kuuma,ilmastointi taisi puuttua! Vessasta puuttui kaakeleita. Kokolattia matto oli likainen. Huone kallis,kuntoon nähden. Yksi yö meni just, mutta useampaa ei olisi pystynyt olemaan. Käytävä myös erittäin huonoilmainen. Vanhakin voi siisti!!

• Risto (4/5): Remontin tarpeessa - Odotukset korkealla,kirjautuminen ok. Huone vaikutti olevan ok, mutta tarkempi tsekkaus niin olipa huonosti siivottu. Kylpyhuoneeseen meno arvelutti. Suihkukopin lattia täynnä hiekkaa ja muuta möhnää...peltinen lavuaaripöytä märkä. Huoneen ilmanvaihto tuuletin oli käsittämättömän äänekäs. Kaikessa näki, että vain välttämätön korjataan.Sänky oli hyvä...aamiainen surkea, pöydissä edellisten astiat,aamupala tarjottavat lopussa,pöydän pinnat tahmaiset jne. Auton sai lähelle sisään käyntiä ja huone oli ykköskerroksessa ja myös sauna oli plussaa.

• Tiia (8/5): Perushyvä hotelli - Kirjautumisen yhteydessä väitettiin, että varaukseni olisi tehty yhdelle henkilölle, vaikka se oli tehty kolmelle. Lopulta siitä ei tullut ongelmaa ja varattu huone "sattui" olemaan kolmelle henkilölle. Erikoisruokavaliot oli huomioitu ihan hyvin aamupalalla. Huoneiden seinät oli paperia, naapurin kuorsaus kuului läpi, mutta muuten oli ihan siistiä ja kaikki toimi. Voisin pysähtyä uudestaan matkalla pohjoiseen.

• Mustafa (8/5): Staff is very helpful. Location and restaurant are very good. Hotel is old and not very comfortable. - Location is very nice. There are enough space for parking and important areas are in walking distance. Food in restaurant is very good, probably best in sodankyla. Staff is very helpful and keen to help also for the questions related to region and things to do. Breakfast was nice and there were options. But it was same everyday. Bed was narrow and not very comfortable. There is a small window for ventilation and it is not enough.

• nicola (6/5): Tappa obbligata - Tra le poche strutture a sodankyla quindi obbligati come tappa verso il profondo nord, colazione direi decisamente buona il resto purtroppo lascia a desiderare. Lavandino con la ruggine camera con letti scomodi e gran caldo, abbiamo dormito con finestra leggermente aperta a -10 e termo . Cenare in albergo vivamente sconsigliato perché solo su prenotazione e offrono servizio bar di basso livello. Personale gentile nello stile finlandese.

• Reino Jukka (8/5): Hunting trip in really cold winter weather - Small and nice hotel, bit outdated which you'll notice on some cases like neighbor room above of yours flushing the toilet you will hear this. Still quiet enough , you'll find everything there you'll need except business center, they didn't even knew what it was they were lacking of. Friendly personnel , feels like they are trying to run it a bit short handed. Front desk person is multitasking taking care of check-in, waiter job and taking care of bar. Rooms were a bit too cold for my taste (winter 11/2022) and -24c. outside.Or maybe this was also due for the energy crises. Parking places outside was minimal since they were building completely new parking field with charging station etc. this being ready I'm sure all will be fine. Breakfast was adequate and tasty , all functions they promises works and are in good and clean condition.Clean it is, nothing to complain in that sector. Would I come again , sure I would. My trip was mid of the week.
• Kaisa (8/5): Positiivinen yllätys - Yövyin hotellissa 2 yötä työmatkalla, ja keskitasoa odottaessani yllätyin positiivisesti! 10 pistettä mahtavalle henkilökunnalle ystävällisestä palvelusta ja loistavasta, monipuolisesta aamiaisesta. Huoneessa oli hyvä sänky ja ravintolan ruoka hyvää. Hotelli on hyvällä sijainnilla: pohjoiseen johtavan tien varrella ja kävelymatkan päässä Sodankylän palveluista. Bonuspisteet pyykinpesumahdollisuudesta ja asukaskeittiöstä! Hotelli ja huoneet ovat vanhat, ja äänet vähän kuuluivat huoneesta toiseen mutta nukuin silti hyvin ja sikeästi. Lämmin suositus! :)

• Verified traveler (8/5): Kulunut mutta siisti - Kiva, tunnelmallinen hotelli. Vanha ja todella kulunut, mutta siisti ja puhdas. Yleiset tilat aika hämäriä. Aamupala erinomainen (ei ehkä eniten vaihtoehtoja, mutta laatu korkea).
• Timo (8/5): - Mukavan hiljainen hotelli, ei enää loistossaan mutta hinta-laatu ok.
• Jorma (6/5): Mieluisa paikka erittu hyvä henkilökunta. - Palvelu ja henkilökunta erittäin hyvin ja asiat hoituu mahtavasti. Huoneessa ok. Paitsi "hometta". Paha haju.
• Patrick (4/5): Older hotel that could use help. - Older hotel and pretty well rundown. It was the only thing available and was okay for one night.
• Ritva (4/5): - Huoneessa oli pysyåinnoillapölyä, suihkutila oli epäsiistin näköinen. Käytävillä epämiellyttävä haju
• Markku (8/5): - Hyvä, tarkoituksen täyttävä yöpaikka aamiaisineen. Sauna erityisesti oli mieleen! Tilat olivat siistit, mutta esim. hotellihuoneiden wc:t ja pesutilat kaipaavat jo kovasti remonttia.
• marica (6/5): No muy bien - Sucio y viejo.. Personal algo frio. No lo aconsejo
• Maija-Kaisa (8/5): - aamupala oli nätisti esillä ja monipuolinen ihania herkkuja erityiskiitos tuorepuurosta ja inkiväärishotista
• Johanna (10/5): Kiitos - Työmatkailijana olin usean vuoden ajan vakioasiakkaana hotelli Sodankylässä, jossa on aina ystävällinen palvelu ja rauhallista yöpyä. Terveiset henkilökunnalle!
• Tuomo (10/5): - Täydellinen paikka yöpyä pitkän vaellusreissun päätteksi. Perus hotelli huone, hieno sauna käytössä iltasin (oltiin ainoat siellä) ja monipuolinen aamiainen aamulla oli todella hyvä. Käydään varmasti uudestaakin seuraavan reissun varrella.
