Guest Reviews
- Stephanie (8/5): - Everything was great & I would stay here again. They aren't responsible for weather, but lightning knocked out power to most of the town so there was nothing to do but sit in the dark until check out.

- Brooks (1/5): Need waterproof bug protector - Friendly staff A cat peed on the bed. They didn't have a waterproof bed bug protector. So cat pee went through the non-waterproof protector and got the mattress, so any clean sheets would be smelling like cat pee. And your body and any clothes materials will be smelling like cat pee. Also pillows haven't been changed when stained, so the pillow smelled like someone else's body odor. This is room 114.
- Aaron (7/5): Good but expensive - The beds were very comfortable The site said it would cost $240 for 3 nights and it costed $340.
- Wallace (10/5): -
- Michael (7/5): Good value! - Good value for a couple nights just to sleep and shower. Waffles were good. Had to rinse out the tub before we showered due to what looked like dirt in tub of shower. The water cooler ran out at breakfast our first morning. Notified staff and it was still empty the next morning. Fruit wasn't refilled next morning.
- Antrim (8/5): - Location, and the guy that checked us in was very nice. There wasn't anything dissatisfying.
- Moore (3/5): - Staff was nice Poor breakfast, Roach in shower, shower didn't work properly, stained pillowcase
- Susan (8/5): - Staff was friendly and accommodating.
- Michael (10/5): - H
- William (6/5): Renovation - I would have given it a better rating but there was some renovation going on close to my room that made it just a little inconvenient. The rooms were a little out dated but they were clean.
- Matthew (10/5): Great stay - It was a great stay. Better than I could have imagined.
- Nita (9/5): -
- Kendra (6/5): - I would like to request that staff are trained to regularly inspect and clean air conditioning drains. My daughter and I got sick. The room had a very bad mildew smell. I have breathing issues. And we both are allergic to mold. When we werent in the room our symptoms subsided but as soon as we went back in and stayed about an hour we got headaches, fever and nausea. I am sad to mention this because I very much like this motel. But we both became very ill staying in this room. And once we were out of it we are still sick, but symptoms began subsiding little by little. We were checked by our physician. We do not have any virus, or common colds. Dr. stated we had been exposed to mold and bacteria and that is what had caused our illnesses. Please, I desire to visit this establishment again. Staff and the rest if the experience is wonderful; but I am pleading that cleaning the drains in the air conditioners are made a priority and done on a regular basis. I am saddened about this ans how it affected my vacation time.
- Troyce (2/5): - We got excited because friends from Indiana , that we haven’t seen for a couple years were camping in Warsaw. So, We rashly made the decision to come spend Sunday with them and surprise them. Less than an hour after booking we remembered my husband had cataract surgery scheduled on Monday at 7am , at the VA hospital in Leavenworth KS . We called the motel and explained and asked if we could cancel and get a refund, they said we had to go through Expedia. We contacted Expedia and they tried for a couple days to work with the motel , but the motel never responded.
- Dawn (6/5): - It was convenient to what we were doing. The breakfast bar didn’t have any eggs or sausage and that’s one reason why I stayed there was for breakfast. Ck in staff was to hard to understand. It smelled really bad and they didn’t have the ac turned on when we got to our room so it was really hot especially when it was over 100 degrees outside. Glad I didn’t want to use the pool it was nasty.
- Hope (8/5): - We were able to check in a little early which was awesome since we had a wedding to get ready for. Room was clean enough, however walking around barefooted in the room turned our feet black. Was really disappointed with the "hot breakfast" selection. Even though breakfast was supposed to be from 7-10, by 8 am the only thing left was packaged coffee cake. Fortunately, lots of good restaurants nearby to choose from. All in all, not a terrible experience and would likely stay there again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Poor cleanliness - The toilet had not been cleaned. There was urine all over the toilet seat. The tub had gritty sand the blankets were not very clean. I was worried about sleeping in the bed because all I could wonder was "did they actually wash these sheets/blankets".
- EMMETT (10/5): - Handy place for me
- Anita (7/5): -
- Jessica (1/5): Meth madman and filthy pool - Pool was filthy with green algae staining the walls. There was an insane meth head that sat on the balcony and screamed at all hours of the day and night, verbally assaulting passersby to the point that the police were called. The staff lied to police about the insane man and the situation. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.
- TONYA (6/5): - Room have been redone however linens are definitely past their prime. Room was clean and staff was pleasant.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good motel. - It was clean. Bed comfortable. Basic. It was a busy July 4th weekend at the lake. So a little noisy. You never know who your neighbors will be. A very convenient location for us with family in the area. Not a great grab and go breakfast, but there are good options nearby. No elevator to second floor. Pool looked nice.
- Barry (6/5): Okay for an overnighter - Staff is great, lobby is fine, place is easy to find and get in and out of. Bed was stiff and not so comfortable, had a hard time keeping a cool temp in the room, long black hair clumps inside the floor mat and one of the towels. TV and fridge were fine, didn't use the microwave. Small coffee pot was fine and appreciated the small pot over single cup brewing. Parking can be an issue with large pickups with trailers and boats, seems like a landing spot for weekend fishing trips.
- Manuel (10/5): -
- tammie (2/5): - We were put in a room where they knew air conditioning wasn't working when we checked in. They wanted us to crawl under it and reset it everytime it stopped working. Cigarette burns on floor and bedspread yellow curtains from smoke no eorking light bulb in lamp something all over bathroom door. Not good at all.
- Debra (8/5): - Front clerk impersonal. Facility old and rundown but very clear they are making improvements.
- Kendra (10/5): - Excellent in all aspects
- Mary (8/5): Stopping for a Night - Just passing through Warsaw and stayed at Lakes Inn. Clean, nice staff. Good quick breakfast.
- Jennifer (6/5): - The staff were all very nice and friendly. The only thing that was a bit irritating is I chose that this place because it had a pool however upon arrival the pool was not open. Understand that things happen and need fixed but a little side note on the website would have been helpful. Other than that it was good
- Jeanne (2/5): - The room was not clean like it normally is. The toilet had pee all over the seat. My husband and I have stayed here for years and it has always been very clean. It was a little bit run down and not clean at all.
- Kristina (2/5): - My room was dirty, it smelled bad, and they did not have pool open like I asked abd was yold yes! And there was only coffe and yogurt for there so called breakfast bar !!!!! Will never be back !!!!
- Gary (3/5): Poor -
- Lynette (8/5): Very good -
- O5954JYkristinaw (2/5): Do not stay here rooms are not remodeled - My husband and I chose this place because like you we looked on the internet and it had great reviews do not go here! The pool is not open, no Continental breakfast, you ring the bell and nobody ever comes to the front desk. My floors in my room are not vacuumed there's hair all in the bathtub.
- Ivan (10/5): - Awesome stay
- Harold (8/5): - Rooms were clean and very convenient..
- Howard (8/5): Very good -
- Donna (10/5): - The king size bed in room 104 was so comfortable
- David (6/5): - Beds were horrible, lack of items for the free breakfast. Prices are fairly high for a average at best motel.
- Dale (10/5): - Freindlyness of staff nice rooms
- S (10/5): I really enjoy the hotel I stayed at. - I has a great stay and I would like to return.
- Jessica (6/5): - My husband and I have stayed here a couple times in the past and it was good, not as good this time. The room was not clean. The carpet around the bed was noticeably dirty. The area between the bed and side table was very dirty. The breakfast was also not as good. There was waffles, which are good, but not much else. A couple packaged snack cakes, cereal, and fruit was it. Seems that it has taken a down turn in the last 6 months.
- Clara (7/5): Good -
- N5446GQtamarab (2/5): People don’t have good customer service skills anymore - From the very beginning, not sure if it was a miscommunication or what but , I called to set up for a week rental. They quoted me a total different price on the phone and when I got there, they told me the new price wow for one week I ended up paying almost $900.00, now mind you this is off-season. I can’t imagine what their prices are in season . I did have a pet therapy cat for my husband. I was told that I had to keep him in a kennel got to the room, walked in it totally smelt like wet dog. I pulled the air conditioner filter out because I cleaned them when we go somewhere because my husband has bad breathing problems. It was full of hair and hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. The bed wasn’t too bad , the chairs in there were all stained up and very old.
bathroom was pretty clean. freezer worked, but the refrigerator didn’t keep good temp, the manager does not have very good communication or customer service skills, the TV stopped working I went and told the manager he came in the room, pulled the TV off of the TV stand proceeded to tell us that it was our cat that jumped up there and broke the cable wire from tv. I was so concerned before I left then I totally cleaned the room and I made a video showing everything in the working order before I left because I was scared that he was gonna try to rack on charges for something that we didn’t do that was already previously damaged. I guess I should’ve paid a little extra money and went down the street.
- Jessica (8/5): - 2nd time staying here and i would probably stay again. It is an older place, but it was clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Will stay here again. - Everything was fine. Simple check in. Polite desk clerk. Breakfast available.
- Jerrilyn (8/5): - Very nice Christmas light display at the Warsaw Drake Arbor and park area. Restaurants and shops in area but close early.
- Dale (8/5): - Nice stay
- Debi (10/5): - a quiet, safe, room at an affordable price. My only complaint is the light on the hair dryer stand that I didn't know how to turn off; it made the room too bright.
- Lori (8/5): - Decent accommodations
- Christina (8/5): - The hotel is older but has had some updates and rooms were clean. Outside well maintained, they were asphalting the parking lot when I was there. Affordable rate. Check in person was very nice. Wifi in room. Allowed pet for $15.
- Anita (8/5): Great stay - Room was very clean & the owner was very nice.
- april (4/5): needs some updates done..... - Large group of us stayed here with multiple rooms. Each room had is issues. Stained sheets from last guest in one room, most rooms had a musky smell to the rooms, large gaps from the front door into the room allowing for bugs, ect.. to come in. Over all the place is pretty run down and needs some TLC to bring it up to what one might consider standard today. The gentlemen and his son at the front desk where very nice.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Minimal options - Listen, it was either this place or camping, and I think we would have been more comfortable in a tent. The beds and pillows are rock hard. The light over the bathroom sink flickers like you are in a horror movie and there were brown stains on the shower curtain liner. The person who checked us in was very nice.
- Andrew (4/5): - At 8:30 am on Sunday, September 22, 2024 there were contractors doing demolition work in the room above. Very loud, very inconsiderate of hotel management to be disturbing their guests like that on an early Sunday morning. I got no apology but just a comment that that kind of work takes hours to complete. I'm asking for some kind of refund.
- Sharon (5/5): I ask for first floor but was given a room on the second -
- Lorrie (8/5): - Our stay was awesome. Staff was excellent and friendly.
- Phillip (8/5): - The room and breakfast were great. I loved the pool, which actually went pretty deep. But there wasn't even a tiny fridge in the room. It made it frustrating to keep items cold.
- Mark L (6/5): - No refridgerator, no iron, electrical receptacle not working. Blood on the lamp shade. Bathroom not cleaned. Room smelled like wet dog. Had to go to Wal Mart to buy soap. Breakfast showed one half of a buscuit and pre packaged pastries. Never again.
- Joseph (6/5): - Dated but clean, others smoking weed but over all good value
- Dale (8/5): - I was a good basic motel. Bed was not very comfortable but still had a decent sleep. Covers were very thin. If you’re looking for a decent place to lay your head for cheaper, this place is fine. Outside vending machine was out of order. Room could use a little freshening up ( update
- Lacey (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (5/5): Passable - The floor was soaked and it smelled like cat urine
- Lesley (8/5): Amazing except breakfast 😋 - The rooms are fun and easy to manage/organize. Perfectly located and parking is easy. Pool was a little dirty but I think it was from the storm. Breakfast was terrible. Only biscuits and gravy and everything under cooked. I would like to see eggs, sausage or some protein alternatives.
Also our light over the sink didn't work.
- Cody (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (10/5): - Amazing place to stay .
- Machaela (7/5): Pretty good overall. Will stay again. - Lakes Inn was exactly as advertised, a good stop on a lake trip weekend. Nothing fancy, but pretty clean and a friendly staff at the front desk. Room could have been a little cleaner, and the outlets on the wall containing the fridge/hairdryer/etc didn't work.
- Davis (10/5): Exceptional - Pool
- Sherry (10/5): Great Place! - Very friendly staffgreatly located and loved the pool & nice room with all the amenities. We will definitely stay there again!
- Joseph (4/5): - Property could definitely use some TLC. Good location and clean. Bed was terribly uncomfortable. One of the worst night’s sleep I’ve ever had
- Bradley (2/5): - Dirty washrag in bathroom, room smelled like urine
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean & Quiet - Our room was very clean & appeared to have been remodeled/repainted recently. Our stay was quiet and enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to others.
- Lisa (5/5): Clean place and nice breakfast. Outdated room. Safe during the day but at night it was a little uncomfortable with the s - It was clean. Allowed pets. People staying was pretty sketchy. Lots of marijuana smoked near us and made our room smell bad.
- Beth (10/5): - Comfy, super friendly staff, yummy breakfast had a great stay
- Ann (8/5): - It was where we were doing our vacation
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good service, but lots of bugs - Lots of bugs in the carpet. I felt like I was getting bit all night. The service was good.
- Thomas (10/5): Fishing trip - Comfortable clean room. AC worked great. It was hot outside.
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Penny (8/5): - Clean comfortable stay.
- Brenda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hailey (4/5): - The sink leaked the whole time into the floor and it smelt like sewer. It was very dirty and smelt horrible. Manager said she’d refund part of our money and the next morning someone else was working and refused to give me my refund.
- Robyn (10/5): Exceptional - Location is great
- Russell (6/5): - Nothing
- Thomas (4/5): - Our refrigerator had wet towels in it that had turned pink and smelled horrible. Our bathtub had dead bugs in it as did the floor of the bathroom…. We were exhausted and only stayed a few hours before we left.
- Melinda (8/5): Very good -
- James (7/5): Good - Breakfast choices
- Loretta (9/5): The beds and pillows were so comfy - Biscuits and gravy were great and the coffee was good and hot When we returned to the room Saturday evening there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. We had been gone all day. Didn’t understand where it came from.
- Theresa (4/5): - No soap or shampoo and broken hair dryer. Blankets and spread very low end. Shampoo/conditioner combo that was given was very low end
- Richard (10/5): - Friendly staff and great parking for boats with electric outlets
- Linda (10/5): - Great help and service!
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
