• Graeme (4/5): Not the best - Bathroom fitting and fixtures hanging off wall or falling off. Room smelt awful, and in need of refurbishing. Definitely overpriced.
• emer (5/5): Amazing staff shame about the property - Bar staff and reception staff were amazing really friendly and attentive wonderful staff Very run down lift not working when arrived told if u get stuck in the non working lift we have crews to get you out !! Took the stairs Rooms and all areas need renovating

• Johann-Anton (7/5): Ich war außer dem Freunlichen Empfang etwas Enttäuscht von der Qualität der Unterkunft. - Der Empfang war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Heizung konnte nicht eingestellt werden, somit hatte ich zu kalt und zog mir Nachts einen Pullover an zum schlafen. Die Dame beim Frühstücksbuffet war ziemlich mürrisch und mir gegenüber unfreundlich.

• Amanda (8/5): Friendly hotel near the port if you are getting the ferry, and near the sea for a summer break. - Very friendly, helpful staff. Stayed overnight before early morning ferry to Spain as worried about closed roads due to fuel protests (which we supported, just wanted to make sure we made the ferry!). Very near the port and so all was fine. I expect it is a very busy hotel in the summer.

• Moore (5/5): - Room and bathroom were clean Cracked tiles on the bathroom floor, in need of a make over. The blinds in the bedroom full of dust when we opened the windows , view out of the window was a mess of what look like was once a nice garden area.

Only stayed the one night as passing through on the way to a family wedding.. Service was excellent. Will definitely return if we come back to Ireland. Nothing perfect for us.

• Graeme (3/5): This should be 2 stars, at best! - Location was great. One or two of the staff were cool in the bar. One young lad was trying his best in the bar. The room wasn't cleaned properly at at all. Definitely not vacuumed. Mould all over the bathroom. Absolutely shocking seating in the room and it was supposed to be a suite. Weird welcome on reception. The food was overpriced and very basic. Their measures of spirits were a disgrace for the price I paid. See attached. This is a 2 star at most. Hotel needs a massive revamp. Lights in the corridor barely worked. Walking to my room I was expecting either two twin girls ask me to come play with them or Jack Nicholson to pop out with an axe trying to get into me room

• Helen (9/5): We will be back to stay again. - The breakfast was perfect and made to order, a large variety of options available. Fruit salad, yogurts, pastries, different choices of bread, including the lovely Irish homemade sodabread. Eggs cooked whatever way you wanted. A Full Irish, including black / white pudding too! We were also delighted by the restaurant menu in the evening. I had a lovely Seafood chowder soup, nice steak, also a very tasty duck another evening. Tge staff were friendly, attentive and very good value for money. We would recommend a stay. The golf course is very nearby also. Thank you. There was nothing unlikeable about our stay.

• Mcginn (7/5): Couples weekend - Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dinner was fantastic, varied menu and piping hot. Breakfast same, was mostly table service. Room was large, dark, bed very comfy. Photos taken with flash. I think there was another bed in the room, hence the space under the wall light. Plenty of nice shampoo and shower gel provided. Great value for money. Nothing too negative. Hotel very dark and dated. EVERYTHING painted dark grey! Walls and furniture. Bathroom small and dated but adequate. However, nothing that a lick of paint everywhere wouldn't solve😀. Just my opinion. The hairdryer went bang with smoke in the middle of my blowdry🤪 I was very impressed the receptionist produced another one pronto.
