• Amael (8/5): Très content - Nous avons passé un très bon week-end. La chambre était propre, silencieuse et spacieuse pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants, avec des lits confortables. L’hôtel est très bien situé, face à la magnifique porte Saint-Pierre. Le personnel est très accueillant et de bon conseil. Nous n’avons pas mangé au restaurant, qui ouvre uniquement le midi, mais nous avons pris le petit-déjeuner : il était très bon et varié. Nous recommandons fortement l’Hôtel Saint-Pierre. Il y a de fortes chances que nous y retournions avec grand plaisir. Le carrelage de la salle de bains est extrêmement glissant une fois mouillé. Déformation professionnelle oblige, la chambre aurait besoin d’une bonne rénovation : le papier peint se décolle à plusieurs endroits et n’a pas été posé correctement. Une peinture aurait sans doute été plus adaptée. Il y a également quelques petits trous visiblement rebouchés çà et là, ainsi que des traces d’usure dues au passage des nombreux voyageurs. Cependant, cela ne nous a pas dérangés car se sont des détails !

• Matthew (9/5): Perfect stop off point on the way to skiing - Spotlessly clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Hotel perfectly positioned in the old part of town. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choice.

Le garage privé est un vrai plus pour nous Le tarif du petit dej est excessif car minimaliste comparé a d autres hôtels qui proposent un buffet bien plus étoffé. Il s agit là d un petit déjeuner continental généralement facturé 8 a 10 euros. La chambre et la salle de bain sont petites et là encore le tarif nous semble élevé. Il n y a ni bouilloire ni cafetiere ni eau rien. Cela devient rare que l on ne trouve pas cela. Dommage

• Chris (9/5): Two day stay in Pontarlier - The hotel was well-situated being a ten-minute walk from the railway station and then a five minute walk to the Musee Municipal D’Art et D’Histoire, which was the main purpose of our visit, and the starting point for our three hour walking round trip along the River Doubs to the Chateau de Joux. The Hotel is clean and comfortable and all appliances worked and we felt safe throughout our visit. The hotel staff were friendly and visible at all times for check-in, check-out and to pay the bills. We were also allowed to check-in early which enabled us to deposit our bags easily. The breakfast was fine. The hotel operates a bar, which was welcome after the walk to Chateau de Joux and the day spent in the Museum. The hotel did not operate a restaurant on the Sunday and Monday we were there. Therefore we ate four meals at the Brasserie de la Poste, which seemed to be the only restaurant open in Pontarlier on those days.

Ideal stop over as we were heading through Switzerland ! Nothing to do with the hotel, would like to see more restaurants open on a Sunday - however on flip side fair play to France still respecting Sundays for family etc.

• David (6/5): - Le soucis de l'hôtel a ete a l'arrivée dans la chambre, sol qui fait un bruit horrible, j'ai du réparé provisoirement l'antenne de la télévision, j'avais noté que on etait 2 mais des serviettes pour 1 personne, la porte de douche tellement usée que impossible de la fermer et les joints de douche jaune et pourri.
