John (10/5): Amazing - Beautiful property. Perfect location for us. Just outside the town center to be out of the crowd but really easy walk to be right in the thick of things. Owner and host Margrita is such a warm and welcoming person.

L'emplacement est idéal, calme, à quelques minutes des rues commerçantes et bien situé comme point de départ vers Sant' Agatha ou Massa Lupransa Rien du tout

From ‘finding’ me on the street when I thought I was lost (I missed the very clear sign) to a warm greeting, to delicious and fresh breakfast…well I cannot wait to return to Sorrento. It was an easy walk to the historical center and Margrita offered many suggestions on things to do. I would highly recommend this location for any amount of time in beautiful Sorrento.

Margherita is such a beautiful host, it was our favourite stay of our whole trip. Our room was exactly what we needed, spacious, impeccably clean and full of charm. Breakfast was always fresh items from her garden and local pastries—we especially loved the apricot and pistachio croissants. We also had the chance to day-trip to Capri and then move onto our next destination in Amalfi, thanks to the convenient local ferries. Her dog Kira was adorable and so friendly, adding an extra touch to our stay. We would 1000% come back here and highly recommend Mario Relais to friends and family!

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen, und diese freundliche, familiäre Atmosphäre zog sich durch unseren gesamten Aufenthalt. Das gesamte Team war stets aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und sehr professionell – man spürt, dass hier mit echter Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Frühstück: Es war nicht nur reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich, sondern auch geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Frische Zutaten, liebevolle Präsentation und eine große Auswahl ließen keine Wünsche offen – ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Auch sonst war alles bis ins Detail durchdacht – von der Sauberkeit über den Komfort der Zimmer bis hin zur stilvollen Einrichtung. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten die Tage in vollen Zügen genießen. Ein großes Kompliment an das gesamte Team – es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, für den wir sehr dankbar sind. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Local fruit and new croissants every morning), comfy room, nice bathroom and good location. Not far walk from central of Sorrento. Quiet neighborhood. There is a shy cat and a loving little dog in the premises. Me and my girlfriend had a good stay. (Eight days).
Benjamin (10/5): An excellent stay with an exceptional host - The B&B is in an excellent location - a 10 minute walk from the centre but nice and quiet at night. The room was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. Margrita was such a great host - we felt really well looked after and very welcome. We were up too early for breakfast both days that we stayed, but Margrita was up too and sent my wife and me off with a packed breakfast each (with gluten free alternatives for my wife). Such a lovely and unexpected touch. We only stayed 2 nights but this was by far our favourite accommodation during our 2 week trip to Italy.

She accommodated a takeaway breakfast when we had early starts for tours and provided great recommendations for tours and local restaurants. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed being in a quieter location, with a short walk to the old town (10-15 mins) and Marina Grande beach (20 mins).

Allison (9/5): Brilliant local location and hospitality - We really enjoyed our stay here, from being greeted with a warm and friendly arrival to a daily homemade, breakfast that was of a very high quality (get the chocolate or pistachio croissant!. We thought the location was brilliant, being a short walk or off the busy part of town, you have easy access to some lovely local restaurants in the evening that aren’t as busy as in town. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and can’t think of much to say here! The only thing we could wish for was for some greater variety in the breakfast offered over the course of a week long stay.

She also personally prepared an incredibly fresh and delicious breakfast each morning we stayed. We enjoyed the amenities of the room (Smart TV!, didn't think that would be something we needed but our two other hotels on this trip had dumb TVs) and we enjoyed how quiet the area around the place was. We loved Sorrento and the vibes in general but it was very bustling even at night so it was nice to be able to get away to a quieter area only a short walk away from the city center. Would definitely stay again!

Ryan (10/5): Gorgeous B&B and friendly host - Margrita went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable here. She was so welcoming and friendly and always provided us with recommendations of where to visit, how to get there, nice restaurants etc. The property itself was beautiful and very well maintained. This cosy B&B is located just outside of Sorrento centre, making it the perfect place to stay as it is quieter and only a short walk to the centre. The breakfast was prepared freshly each morning with their own grown ingredients. We loved it here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento.

Margrite was responsive to my questions and even booked our private transfer from her place to the airport for my husband and me for a 2 a.m. ride. Margrite's home is set slightly away from the business of Sorrento, but just a short walk to the center of all the great restaurants and shopping. My husband and I walked daily to the center of Sorrento, to the port and beach areas. Breakfast was fresh daily with items from her farm (fruits, tomatoes, olive oil). Coffee to order (cappuccino, latte, etc.). She always had a smile on her face, impeccable attention to detail, and made us feel very welcomed. It is obvious that Margrite loves what she does. I would highly recommend staying at Mario Relais.

A short walk to the main square and train station. Very quiet location which was great to get you out of the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. Margrita and her entire family were amazing, from booking to the end of our stay. Nothing was too hard; they were very accommodating to ensure that we were happy. Right down to breakfast, Margrita was able to ensure that we had food for breakfast that we enjoyed. The sfogliatelle were the best we had in Italy! Mum was very appreciative for these, thank you. The fresh fruit from your garden was the best! Thank you also for all your support after my mum’s fall, we were truly grateful for your help and care. Thank you and we will definitely be back!
Jacob (10/5): - We recently stayed for four nights and can’t say enough great things about the property and Margrita as a host. The location is in a great spot and is only about a 10 minute walk to the main shopping and restaurants in Sorrento. The room was was clean, spacious and the air conditioning worked great! The breakfast provided each morning is something my wife and I will talk about for years to come and was a real highlight of the trip. If we get the chance to return to Sorrento some day, this will be the first place for us to try and book again!
Stefan (10/5): Sorrent - Auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert - Wunderbares kleines B&B im Zentrum von Sorrent Bahnhof und Hafen sind gut zu erreichen (etwa 20 Minuten) Margrita ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die sehr viel Liebe in ihre Arbeit legt. Das merkt man beim Frühstück, da bleiben kaum Wünsche offen. Orangensaft, Käse Schinken Toast, Tomate und Mozzarella, Tee, Kaffee, Obst... Alles wird ganz frisch zubereitet und vieles kommt aus dem heimischen Garten Zimmer sind auch sehr schön, könnten vielleicht ein kleines Regal mit Schubfächer gebrauchen, damit man seine Kleidung besser verstauen kann, aber sonst sehr komfortabel (für wenn es wichtig ist : Smart TV) Bad ist auch groß genug mit Rainshower Dusche und genug Abstellmöglichkeiten. Balkon gibt es im Zimmer nicht, wir hätten aber gegenüber vom Zimmer einen kleinen Balkon benutzen können. Gute Lösung.

thomas (8/5): - The property only has 3 rooms and is run by the owner, who could not be more welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay and the lovely breakfast. Excellent value for money. Located in a quiet residential area, but with supermarkets and restaurants very close by. Would certainly recommend it, if you don’t mind being a 10 minutes walk from the centre.

Sandra (10/5): - This B&B is exceptional. The property is immaculate and our room was very large, comfortable, and spotless. Our host is was so nice and greeted us at the door to the property upon arrival. The breakfast she prepared was delicious as was the coffee. The property was very close to train station and minutes from the main city plaza. The nearby restaurant she recommended were very close and were outstanding. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here since we feel like we were at home in Sorrento.

Margrita was the best host, felt like home and spent the time working out with me the best transport back to Rome. Cannot thank you enough for the lovely time and I hope to be back! Amelia (9/5): Superb - Very clean, modern accommodation with a good shower!! Host was so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and filling. It was a bit of a walk from the main areas but didn’t bother us and it meant it was quieter. Not many places to hang wet towels / bathers in the room after going to the beach. we hung our stuff on the nearby balcony which was fine though!
Soyoun (10/5): - The room condition was super clean and we liked the interior and breakfast area. and also breakfast she made is excellent!! she has a garden and growing her own fruits and provided us which is very greatful and fruits are very sweet! her response is very quick and it's close enough to sorrento centre. (12mins walking )
Marie (10/5): - Si vous cherchez un logement à Sorrento, ne cherchez plus. La communication avec Margrita était parfaite avant et pendant le séjour. Nous avons été super bien accueillis. Les explications étaient claires. La chambre est grande, propre, et la salle de bains aussi. De l'eau (gratuite) était à disposition. Un petit balcon de l'autre côté du couloir, juste en face de la chambre est aussi accessible. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent et copieux, avec des produits frais. Bref, nous recommandons absolument cet endroit. Grazie Margrita ☀️
Joanne (10/5): A wonderful stay - We had the best possible stay here, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Margrita was so lovely and attentive, we couldn’t believe the gorgeous breakfast made fresh for us every day! The location was perfect, less than a 10 minute walk into the centre. I honestly don’t think the pictures do this place justice it was so much better than we imagined, lovely details in the room such as a smart TV and USB charging points were a great added bonus. If we were to come back to Sorrento we would 100% look to stay here again!

Georgia (10/5): Wonderful host and amazing breakfast! - The location was great, a ten minute walk from the centre of town and to the train station and it was very peaceful. The host Margarita was absolutely wonderful. So kind and and lovely! The breakfast was a 10/10, homemade croissants, sandwiches, fresh tomatoes and mozzarella, with freshly squeezed orange juice. The room was very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re in Sorrento :) Nothing!
