Room was big and thanks god with aircondition. 😅 Breakfast is italian style with fresh Croissants. 😃 Despar grocerie Shop is just 1 min. walk. It is located close to all major sightseeings. About 10 to 15 minutes walk to harbour and interesting places. public busses or hop on hop off bus goes to Miramar castle very convinient. It takes about 15 min. drive. All together we had a great stay. The bathroom is a bit small to enter - together with the bathroom sink, but everything is clean and nice shower and a bidet. The view from our room was on a rooftop, (just saying) but we didn't mind so much because it was on the quiet side, so we had no traffic noise and a good sleep. We will recommend this accommodation.

The room was huge! Comfy bed, good air-con, very quiet – we had three great nights' sleep here. Also enjoyed being able to make our own tea and coffee whenever we came back to re-group. Five-minute walk down into centre of town - and another ten to catch the ferry from the waterfront for day trips. Not glamorous from the outside, but a great, practical choice if sleeping well in a lively city is your priority! Nothing

• Steven (10/5): A great location to explore Trieste on foot. - Quiet. Located close to the center of a relatively big city, our room was incredibly quiet. The windows opened onto what would normally be an inner courtyard. Instead, the ground floor was the roof of a store on the street level. This meant there was no sound being generated from below; no cars, no children playing, no garbage dumpsters being banged around. Of course, there was no view, but then we were there to explore the city, so after a day of sightseeing, it was great to have a peaceful retreat for a good night’s sleep. No complaints

The B&B is very close to the train station and a short walk to the main part of the city, so very well located, with many good bars (including Cafe San Marco) and restaurants nearby. The breakfast is satisfying and the room very comfortable, with air conditioning. There was nothing we "didn't like", and we really enjoyed our stay, the B&B is comfortable, basic and simple and a good base to explore Trieste and the surrounding area. But it is just the room so don't expect a longue or communal area to just hang out in.

• Anonymous (10/5): This is the kind of place I would stay in many times! - We love everything about the property. It’s centrally located and near everything, the establishment was very clean, and the breakfast spreads were delicious and plentiful. The best thing about the property was the owner Ilaria as she goes way beyond what her duties are to make her visitors’ stay a peaceful and stress free one. For example, the day we arrived she had prepared for us a list of restaurants and explained to us how to get to them and the sites to see. She also put us in contact immediately with a taxi driver to take us the day we were leaving to the airport. We were leaving very early so she arranged for him to pick us up at 4:30 am and even prepared for us a breakfast to take with us!
• Jetsetjamie333 (10/5): A Wonderful B&B in a Gorgeous City! - We were delighted at the size and the decor of the room upon entering. It was bright, squeaky clean and cheerful, with a wall of windows. The breakfast, served in our room by Ilaria, was delicious and plentiful, with a large variety of breads, fruit, cheeses, ham and baked items. Coffee was always available. Located in the heart of the city, easy to walk everywhere, or take the bus. There is an elevator in the building for getting our luggage upstairs. Ilaria was exceedingly flexible in allowing us to leave our luggage long before check in time. She gave us a perfect orientation to the city, highlighting the best sites to visit, including a map. She also had a list of restaurants, bakeries and cafes prepared for us. She encouraged us to visit Miramar Castle which she said is "the jewel of our city", not on the city map, and provided us with directions to get there. We are so grateful to her for the recommendation! Ilaria made every effort to ensure that communications between us were timely, and always answered any texts or e-mails quickly. A perfect place to stay in a perfect city. Make sure to spend time in this beautiful and under-rated city, in this lovely B & B. You will be so happy that you did! Nothing!

She prepared not only facility but also some very useful information about town as well as map and a list of restaurants sorted by the type! It helped me big time, I didn't waste time on reading google reviews about restaurants but could plan my meals more easily. Explanation and tips she gave about town's area were very useful, precise and helped me a lot. Room was spacious with AC and an air cleaner. Shared area had a coffee, tea, and other kitchen's stuff that guests might need. Everything was clean and functioning and in case we lost keys or something or need any extra information - host made clear we could contact her any time. An extra shelf in the bathroom would come handy. :-)
