Guest Reviews

Wij hadden huisje naast zwembad. 1x ontbijt genomen was goed.

- Giulia (9/5): - Molto silenzioso piscina privata appartamento grande

- Cristian (10/5): - Tutto, i proprietari e lo staff gentilissimi,
- Gaia (1/5): - La posizione comoda La struttura è molto lasciata andare.

- Anna (4/5): Not for people who want to relax in peace and quiet-disappointing - The location was very nice, the swimming pool was almost only for us, many animals to see for kids The owner intentionally omitted information about organizing events until midnight in the garden. During our stay They organized somebody’s 18th birthday in the garden. The music was very loud, the speakers and the DJ was in front of our House/apartment. We couldn’t sleep. We planned to stay there for a week but we left after 3 nights. They explained that the events can be organized in the Argroturismo Gli Archi without informing the guests. They apologised us for the party and and offered different solutions as a compensation, but we didn’t agree. We contacted Booking and got our money back, we didn’t want to stay there. It has nothing to do with peace and quiet offering on the website.
- Wieweet5 (9/5): Superb - fantastic staff nothing
- Anna (9/5): Lovely place in gorgeous surroundings! - Loved the location, attached to a vineyard. Loved the pool! Loved the restaurant! They had a private event but very kindly laid a table for us outdoors and the sweetest staff served us, bringing out tasty food - and delicious wine from their own vineyard! (Also very good value for the food!) The apartment was very spacious and clean. Great value for your money, especially as you could have slept another three people in the flat. The beds weren't the comfiest, but ok for just one night (or a few, I'm sure!). Not the quickest response through the booking.com chat, but it didn't cause any problems.
- Tiia (1/5): Confusing mismatch between comments to reality - Idyllic scenery, remote location. Friendly employees trying to make up what the place is lacking even without knowing any English Dampness, propably mold due to bad maintenance as black silicon in the bathroom suggests and the fact we all felt it (caughing and tingling in our throats the minute we arrived), made us eventually leave a day early. AC was totalled to an unfixable state so they provided a loud but inefficient moveable one. Lacking basic amenities like a trash can or even a soap. They also host parties, blasting music until midnight right behind your window which we learned can happen every other night. So much for the peace and serenity of a remote wine-yard accomondation. Given the condition and the fact that the place hosts loud events, at 150€/night without breakfast seems greedy as there are better options (we know, we switched from and to one in Tuscany). It's a shame really, facilities could have potential and great recommendations brought us there and we gave it chance, but couldn't sleep 3 out of 4 nights so left for the last one, a day early. Comments of the others hints about issues like this but curiously still render a picture of quality, that's a first. Choose wisely.
- Wendelien (8/5): Agriturismo with nice pool and garden near Livorno. - Good location on our way to the ferry to go to Sardinia. Nice pool and quiet area with olive trees and wine yards. We arrived a bit early and our host was not at the property yet. the woman who showed us our rooms was not really welcoming…the first thing she said was: who are you ? A bit grumpy? But this could be the language barrier …😬
When our host arrived she was very charming and offered us a nice drink at the pool. We had a delicious Tuscan dinner that evening.
- Francesca (10/5): A postcard location - The place is magnificent and beautiful, quiet and very close to Pisa and other beautiful locations. Host was very polite and helpful, always present and ready to give us information. Nothing
- Hamid (6/5): Pleasant - No Internet. !!!!!
Was not clean. Very bad smell in the bathroom. No shampoo and no water.
- Kamil (8/5): Very good - The fold-out bed in the main room is of average quality (no level), the bed in the bedroom is OK.
- John (7/5): Good -
- Pirvu (10/5): Exceptional - wine yard and all the property was amazing to walk through and feel so relaxed. we.ve also met a cute little cat.and it was such a big bonus to have a furry friend there. event happening right by the window. but we have been informed about it. just didn.t realised was that close to where we were sleeping.
- Szymon (10/5): Perfect place to have some rest in Tuscany - A beautiful place, with great food. A good place to visit Tuscany, drive to famous cities, and have a calm evening.
- Stephanie (10/5): Impressiv wineyards, wine and lovely people - We were only for one night but appreciate the whole area. The Wineyards and the country side Are impressive.
The pool super to relax. And the food as well the wines are very Good. We feel like home there. For our son it was also Perfect, as no Cars Are driving and he can Walk around how he likes.
Ilaria is a super lovely hotel manager and all were very friedly. A big complement!
- Yehonathan (3/5): Poor - Close to Piza tower We had a family trip with 4 little kids.
1. It took 20 min until someone open us the gate and let us in, there was no access through whatsap with the phone number in booking.
2. The pool wasn't clean. Lot of dead bugs in the water. We couldn't stay there more then 15 min.
3. The washing machine didnt work.
On general this property didnt feel like a place we want to stay in.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- ליאת (8/5): Very good - Very pleasant hosting,thank to Illara !
- Hana (10/5): Beautifull place - Beautifull place...Chiara the owner was amazing and the wine tasting excellent
- Cimdina (9/5): Amazing! -
- Charatsi (9/5): Peaceful - Very quiet and peaceful.
Felt like you had invited few friends to your holiday house, due to peace and quiet that existed!
Whatever we asked for (either extra towels or coffee or olive oil ) were provided. If I had to mention something is the language barrier that is something you face all over Italy.
But I also have to admit that people were trying their best to understand and serve us
- Gerla (10/5): fantastic dog friendly vineyard stay - The Gli Archi farm is located in the rolling hills of Poggio alla Farnia on the outskirts of Fauglia and only a short drive from Pisa. So perfect for visiting the leaning tower of Pisa. This stunning farm is surrounded by nature and boasts stunning views of the Pisan Hills. They produce 6 varieties of wine and olive oil, and the courtyards are lined with lemon trees. Their wine tastings are very popular and set in the restaurant with stunning views over the mountain range. These tastings are also open for non-guests, and I highly recommend them. We were told that there would be ‘a little bit of food’. In Italy, this means a full-blown meal! My favourite wines were the Viognier, Sangiovese and the vermouth.
Fauglia is a village of medieval origins that has preserved the characteristics of a rural town. Following the destruction of the castle, which took place in 1433 at the hands of the Florentine army, the town was structured along the crest of the hill. Fauglia is known for its villas, and it is not a surprise that the Italian nobility, writers and artists loved to settle down here with the stunning views over the Pisan hills.
If you are looking for a short or longer break in the area of Pisa, then I recommend staying here. It is a beautiful place and a stone’s throw away from Pisa, Livorno and Lucca, and Florence is merely an hour’s drive away. Pisa has a good train connection to Florence, so you can sit back and relax. If you don’t fancy cooking every night, the restaurant opposite the church in Fauglia comes highly recommended.
- Edite (9/5): Great stay with kids. - Beautiful Possibility to buy also bio olive oil

- Verified traveler (6/5): Satisfactory - We stayed here one night, as we were attending a holiday party in the area. Prior to our arrival, I was asked what time we would be arriving. I indicated between 14:00-15:00. When we arrived at 14:30, after a 4-5 hour drive, and rang the reception bell, no one answered. My husband placed a phone call twice to the number associated with the hotel. He was able to reach the owner whom said they would be by in 10 minutes. They were friendly in greeting us and apologized. When we were shown our apartment it was dark and cold. They hurriedly turned the heat on. It took several hours for it to warm up. We were walking around in winter jackets until we left for our function. Not to mention the concrete floor was freezing. Slippers would have been nice. There was a cozy, open fireplace we were told we could utilize, yet, it only had two big logs, no kindling, lighter, extra wood, no safety screen or fire implements. Other minor details - Wi-Fi did not work as advertised, and there was no remote to use the TV. Lastly, as it was a family winery, there were bottles of wine in the kitchen for purchase, yet, no price list. For the price we paid and conditions, a complementary glass or bottle of wine upon arrival would have been nice. Yet, we were checked in, paid and the owners left hurriedly in about 10 minutes. Other than these issues, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment was cute and property beautiful.
- Brad (10/5): - the welcome staff were so helpful with directions to find the venue (google maps had us 2 properties up the road) and suggestions for dinner locally. Lovely guest cottage in a rural vineyard. Stunning and great family stay with a huge pool.
- Terese (10/5): Mysig lägenhet med kök på en vingård - Allt var fint och jätte bra, men var uppmärksam på att det är eget kök, så man får laga sin egen mat.
