Guest Reviews
- Volodymyr (2/5): - No breakfast.
- Sean (10/5): Truck Parking - Road trip
- Gary (4/5): - Old
- Tracy (10/5): - Clean and convenient
- Norm (2/5): - The first thing is that when I wanted to use the toilet it would move around and leak out the water onto the floor as it was being flushed (rm #106). Second thing is very poor condition and maintenance.
- Leslie (8/5): Budget friendly - Very friendly people. Budget friendly motel. Needs a bit of updating but it was clean.
Across the street from a Loves gas station, which is convenient.
I liked that they seemed to book rooms every other one so we didn’t bother each other. That was very smart.
- Travis (8/5): - Decent place to stay for the money only down side is a small parking area
- Douglas (6/5): If you need a cheap stay - Clean but bed was not comfortable. Location is in a truck stop within a small village without places to eat. Room was clean and price was good.
- Esther (6/5): - Lovely woman checked us in. Upon entry, one of 3 lights didn’t work and the fridge wasn’t plugged in. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. There was hot water from the faucet in the late afternoon but by evening and the next morning there was no hot water.
- Jason (8/5): - We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Super clean. Completely redone. Very nice accommodation. Very convenient. Bed very comfortable. No noise issues or people issues.
Front office very efficient and helpful.
Wonderful family operated travel stop. No breakfast.
- Barbara (4/5): - It would have been nice to a cup for water . Or to have tissues for your nose .
- Chris (10/5): - very clean and comfortable. good value.
- Mary Lou (6/5): Ok for the price. Clean but not comfortable. - Ok for the price. NO breakfast, lobby closed, all check-ins throught the night window. Staff was polite. Single story with parking right next the room. In between two truck stops. Location felt safe & there was no city noise.
I know this is weird, but the A/C (which couldn't quite keep up with the heat) made the whole room shake - the floor & bed - and it made me light-headed.
Water pressure in shower was terrible. Bathroom light squealed. Thin toilet paper. No tissues. Bed uncomfortable with bad pillows. Small towels. No luggage rack.
Room was clean. Room had coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, chest of drawers, table, chair, office chair, a few hangers. Direct TV worked well. Wi-fi worked well.
- Thomas (6/5): - Refrigerator not pulled in, not cold for my drinks. All recepticals loose would not hold plug-ins properly, fire hazards!!!!!
- Bridgett (2/5): - First off it was 85 dollars for one night they charged me an extra 20 dollars instead of 10 the water didn’t get hot at all! The bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi was fire he had an attitude and acted like he was giving me a discount I suggest you find some where else to stay because if I’m paying 85 a night the water needs to get hot! And they gave no time for the so called breakfast that they offer never got it check out it a 10 am and he charged me again because I checked in before 2 pm never again!
- Chrisandra (10/5): Excellent Value, Wonderful service. - It was definitely a no frills hotel but for the money it was fantastic. My room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location was very convenient and easy to get to. The service was wonderful. We thought our first stay there was so good that we made a point to stay again on our return trip. It does not have breakfast as advertised but for the money, I would not have expected it. It does have a fridge and a microwave. The only drawback I found is that it did not have a hairdryer.
- Alma (10/5): - The clerk was moderately friendly. The room is clean, the furnishing mismatched and dated. There's a microwave and mini fridge. The A/C works.
- linda (2/5): False information not like they advertise - Got there open the door. Very small room we had to talk through a window. Nothing like they show in the advertisement picture. Ask about the restaurant they advertise. Then said pizza restaurant didn’t know what I was taking about. Forgot to ask about breakfast. Went back. No breakfast served. Cup in room we styrofoam. Other hotel have plastic with plastics covers
- Wayne (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the Rest Inn. It was very convenient for us being close to the interstate. Registration was easy and efficient, too.
- Alton (6/5): - It met minimum standards for cleanliness and facilities. Overall satisfactory. This is a one night stay so it provided a good place to stay for the night.
- Anthony (6/5): - I get that this is a no-frills motel off the interstate desperately in need of a face lift that will never come.
But the pillows had a smell as if the linens weren't changed from the previous guest. I didn't get any sleep after that.
- Melissa (10/5): - Convenient location. Helpful staff. Quite affordable. Good value for price. Stayed multiple times!
- Sandra (8/5): Convenient - The room with clean and smelled nice. The bed was a little hard for me. And they don't serve breakfast any longer. At least there was a coffee pot in the room.
- Baldomero (10/5): - Very comfortable and clean
- JB (4/5): - No breakfast of any sort as advertised—staff was less than pleasant—location was literally in the parking lot of a gigantic gas station—no dining options except for a subway located in the gas station—it was right next to the interstate and easy to find if you’re looking for that—the room was very clean—the wifi didn’t work
- DeAnn (4/5): - The stay didn’t match the description.
- Donald (8/5): - I was traveling without my family so I was looking for a budget motel. I was very surprised how nice this place was, especially for the price. I would have been happy with much less!
It didn't bother me but the description said they provided breakfast but I don't believe they did. If so I never saw it!
- Michael (10/5): - Clean and staff were super. Great value!
- William Monroe (6/5): - Just a place to sleep.
- Amy (8/5): - The location is good, right off the interstate and although it has 2 truck stops close by it is quiet. The wifi sucks, but its because of the location. In that area cell phone and wifi service are bad.
- Tawny & Derek (8/5): - Comfy and clean, but front desk area sketchy
- Herb (10/5): - The room was neat, clean,& quiet. I would recommend this for anybody.
- Darby (2/5): - Cleanliness was so horrible that my husband didn’t even want to sleep there. He preferred to go sleep in his vehicle. The sheets were so dirty that he was afraid he’d get bed bugs. He said the lobby was sketchy and the man up front was rude. Do not recommend.
- Jason (8/5): I was in a hurry! - Stop sleep wake up gone! Didn’t really get a chance to use it see anything
- Brenda Estefania (2/5): - They didn’t have a non smoking room and I had to stay in a horrible smelling smoking room, they don’t give breakfast! That’s a lie. The place around it is ugly, the sheets on the bed were dirty, the curtains were broken, everything was just awful, it’s the first time I’ve had to stay in such a filthy place
- Bihuan (4/5): - bed iis comfortable but there is no hot water. the checkin took forever.
- Taylor (8/5): Thanks! - This place was clean, quiet and we got some great rest. Exactly what we needed after a long drive. The employee working nights was very helpful, also!
- Patty (10/5): - Nice place. Walls a little thin. But economical.
- Ricky (2/5): Rude - Needed a early check in, and the lady was very rude! And we are formally from this area and was in town with family and really needed a extra hour for my wife to get ready for a family event!! People was very rude till they found out we was from the area!! Then he said next time just come in and he would match the price on hotels.com. Not again just because of the rude encounter. But the room was clean, and served it’s purpose! Or half of it’s purpose! The place is out of date but it’s in a small town of about 1000 people.
- Barbara (8/5): - Ok for the price.
- Helen (8/5): - It’s nice, clean and friendly..!
- Charles (10/5): - Great little place to stay. Very comfortable and pleasant.
- Amber (6/5): Great of traveling alone! - This is a great little place for adults. Not so great for kids or families. There is a Love’s across the street that you can walk to with two restaurants inside. Nothing nearby for kids. No pool. They don’t actually offer breakfast even though the details say they do.
- Michael (8/5): I’ll stay again - Simple, clean (with hot water) hotel. I’ll stay again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Carpet was sticky, toilets barely flushed, the only thing open was Loves but all services and restaurant's inside were closed.
- Jason (4/5): Ugggg - Very unpleasant, barely spoke English. No ice. Not recommended
- Joe (6/5): k - It’s was a bed
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel was average closest pizza restaurant would not deliver there.
- Erin (8/5): - The staff at this hotel was very nice, and the location being near the interstate was convenient for us as we were driving a long distance. While I wasn't super happy with an earlier check-out time, it impressed me that they had moved check-out an hour earlier to utilize the extra hour for room cleaning. That showed they really care about their guests during this uncertain time, and made me feel more comfortable about staying here. So well done!
- Keith (6/5): - I liked this property because it was out of the way and the price was very reasonable. Because of the Corona Virus pandemic the staff isolated itself and they did not offer the continental breakfast which I totally understood.
- David (4/5): Not good for us - your experience may differ - I booked this for my daughter as one of her stopping points on way home from early college shutdown. Although I had provided my payment info thru Hotels.com, the desk clerk insisted it was not available. Of course without me there, this was a problem and my daughter told me the desk clerk was not very pleasant in dealing with the situation or in general. Daughter said room smelled like smoke and had cigarette burn holes on the bedspread. She said she would not stay here again. We are experienced road trippers and although she is only 20, she has experienced many motels since a young kid. As a point of comparison, she stayed the night prior at a Motel 6. I'm sure most people checking motels at this price point are familiar with Motel 6. She told me this was fine, but would prefer other than Rest Inn next time.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Late night check in took a bit longer than expected. But eventually everything turned out ok
- Tfhadlock (6/5): - Pretty basic but safe and cheap.
Overall it was average
- Amber (8/5): Older but decent - Close to a truck stop but still pretty quiet and safe feeling for a single female traveling. It is older need some work but for a quick overnight and the price it’s decent.
- debbie (10/5): Very nice - Front desk was very nice. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Price was reasonable. Nothing hot for breakfast.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Affordable night's sleep. - This was a good price motel next to a Luv's truck stop. The room was in good condition. This is a no frills type of motel, but the motel was safe and quiet.
