- Ralph (6/5): Centralized Airconditioning System - I would characterize my stay at GrandView Hotel & Convention Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina as quite disappointing. I came at a time when the seasons were changing from winter to spring. Now, I stayed for a week and half of that week was disastrous. I cannot stay in a hot or warm room because I have a heart condition and I always ensure that the hotel I pick has airconditioning. It was annoying when they have these airconditioning dials in every room, but basically they are there to regulate the room temperature and not really for A/C. My room was like a sauna for the first night which made me just open the windows because I can't sleep and it's already 4am. I complained thinking this was just a broken A/C to be checked and repaired. The next night they said it was already fixed, but nothing still the same. I couldn't sleep until 4am. I spoke with someone at the reception and they told me that the building's HVAC is centralized, so in colder months it's all just heating and no cooling! I told them I have this health condition that I cannot be in a warm room and their answer to me was pretty much dishearting for me to repeat here. They said I can just turn off the AC/heating and just open the windows! How ridiculous of an answer is that from their management! The room also doesn't have any refrigerator, so you cannot have cold drinks such as cold water in a hot day of walking around and exploring the city. There are no complimentary water bottles either and no coffee just
- Suzannah (6/5): - Nice hotel but I wouldn't class it as a 4 star hotel by UK standards. Even after checking in online it took 15 mins to check in at reception. Our "Superior double room" was very basic. There was a kettle but no tea or coffee provided. There's a fridge but no water or other drinks in it. The room was clean and the bed was big and comfy. The swimming pool is not available out of season, it's outdoors. Breakfast was very basic; Pastries, bread, cheese and ham, fruit and yoghurt. On the weekend it was very busy. Location is good for exploring the city.

- Rene (6/5): - Flew in early morning, 7:00am, not only they not allowed me get and early checkin, they were giving rooms to people that came later than me and my room was not ready until 3 pm. Seems like they delayed my room everytime I asked, and only asked when i got there and then at 1 because they told me and then at 2 when checkin was scheduled. Then the bar has nothing but 2 types or beer (not even locals) and one cheap wiskey that only they know. Not going there again.

Es un hotel del 1 al 5 estrellas lo consideramos 3 estrellas.

- Masood (6/5): - The location, close to the Congress/ Assembly. Check in was good but later I asked to change my room due to smell issues but unsuccessful. It should have been simple SWAP but management refused to do it though plenty of options available. The furniture was old and unhygienic especially the Sofa, study chair which was replaced later on. I had a suite but without coffee table. The towels were pretty old. The manager is not paying attention to the property and wasting resources, even the chairs at the reception needs repairs not a good sign. Management should not waste such a good property and with few tweaks and procedural changes it can be a world class facility. Few other guests in the Lobby/ elevator share the similar thouths.

O quarto era bem espaçoso, confortável, mas o hotel pecava no serviço de limpeza, pois facilmente encontrava a ropa de cama com manchas que dava a sensação de sujeira. O café da manhã foi a grande decepção. Ricobem carboidrato mas pobre em proteína, as únicas proteínas eram queijo e presunto. Se fosse pedir ovo deveria ser pago como porção extra.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Algo decepcionante - Es un Hotel con infraestructura … Sin embargo el proceso de checkin es demasiado lento .. el hotel en general no está orientado como servicio al cliente … el desayuno es muy básico para ser de esa categoría .. no incluye huevos para quienes están acostumbrados al desayuno… la ubicación es buena pero hay que tener precaución con el sector … recordar que no permite recibir delivery dentro de sus políticas y requiere una Tarjeta de Crédito donde toman los datos de los clientes para una retención de $100 USD .. el tratamiento y privacidad de los datos no es claro y puede presentarse fraude en transacciones no autorizadas posteriores por la manipulación básica de estos datos tan sensibles …

Una joya—toallas con manchas de sangre y una pulga bailando salsa, todo grabado para mi futura película, ‘El Escándalo de las Toallas.’ Los pisos parecían triturados por una tormenta y olían a club de moho. ¿Las bañeras? Un experimento asqueroso—mocos, hollín y pedacitos misteriosos. Me puse mi delantal de Cenicienta y las limpié con jabón de platos y una toalla sangrienta, porque, ¿quién necesita dignidad? Fui a recepción a suplicar por toallas limpias, enseñando mi video estelar de la pulga, pero me soltaron: ‘Haberlo dicho antes, reina—te doy una toalla y punto.’ Mientras tanto, mi hija me mandó una selfie de su cama con una cucaracha tamaño tanque. A medianoche, hacíamos maletas como locos para huir, solo para descubrir una fiesta de cucarachas debajo de la mesa de la cocina. ¿Cero estrellas? Le daría menos infinito si pudiera. La actitud del personal fue el colmo—tan condescendiente que hasta un santo mandaría al diablo. ¡Huye de este lugar o acabarás en terapia con las cucarachas! 10/10, jamás lo recomiendo.
- Anna (6/5): - We stayed at the joining apartment and was disappointed with the condition it was in. The floors war peeling and very dirty. Bathrooms had rusted towel hangers. Bedroom walls and walls in the hole apartment needed paint (our bedroom had wholes in the wall!)… the baseboards and flooring was very dirty. The 2front desk girls should get all the credit for making our stay pleasant-I forgot their name but they were incredibly nice. The mail staff was very unpleasant and when my son leaned on the corner of the couch while we were waiting in line he came up without even saying hi and very rudely told him to get off the corner of the couch! We have seen him several times at the door and behind the desk and not even once he said hello to us ! The area is not the greatest but if you are not walking alone you will be fine.

Pas loin , à 5-10minutes à pied , le congrès et la salle des députés se visitent gratuitement, comptez 2 heures pour parcourir les différentes salles et suivez le guide qui fait l’historique. Amenez votre passeport pour le ticket gratuit d’entrée.

La zona es bastante movida, pero el metro está muy cerca, es fácil movilizarse a pie y hay muchas opciones para comer cerca

Lo que hizo que calificara mi calificación fue la atención recibida por la persona que manejaba WhatsApp. Fuimos de turismo, nuestro vuelo se retrasó y por lo tanto los planes cambiaron, necesitamos ayuda del personal del hotel para que nos asesoren sobre qué hacer y cómo llegar y el único número que encontramos fue el de WhatsApp en internet, les escribí y la persona de una forma muy ruda, grosera y poco amigable dijo que no me podía dar información, que tenía que acercarme al hotel y le dije que no podía ya que estaba muy lejos y si me podía edel el número para llamar y anunciar que iba a ver un cambio de planes sobre nuestra llegada ya que solicité algo especial para el check in. Esta persona de manera grosera dijo que el número del hotel para llamar era “confidencial” y que no podía dármelo que tengo que acercarme. En fin, una pésima experiencia para turistas que nunca han estado en el país y sobre todo, que necesitaba ayuda y fue negada. El resto del staff ya dentro del hotel sí fue cordial
- KirtikaSingh (2/5): Terrible customer service, utterly insensitive & incompetent front desk staff Shamilla & Manuel. Avoid at all costs. - We arrived at 6 am after a fifteen hour international flight that was delayed by 6 hours. Our young son was sick and we needed a quick check in. Instead the insensitive and incompetent front desk trainee staff including an extremely dismissive Shamilla & Manuel refused to check us in as we asked them to hurry up after they had taken forever to do a check in . In essence this hotel staff tried to deny us stay at the hotel once I asked them to expedite the check in as our son was sick with exhaustion and needed to get to a room. I requested to be connected to a manager and was instead provided a reception email address. In all our years of international travel and experience with hotels world wide we have never encountered worse customer service and reception at a hotel. Please avoid this rip off hotel at all costs. If this hotel has any supervisory staff, I will be pleased to hear from them. Eventually another staff was able to assist, the real issue being that the incompetent Shamilla and Manuel had missed an entry that the check in process required which the other staff was able to fix quickly. Nightmarish experience in our first hour in Buenos Aires making the whole experience bitter from the onset. Avoid this hotel or regret it.

- Judge (8/5): - The hotel is close to many transport access point and restaurants. The high floor room has a great view of the city, but the large windows heat up the room quickly, AC barely can keep up even with closed heavy curtains. Bring your own tea bags.

- Gary (6/5): - Enjoyed my stay but initially when I went to my apartment which was next door from the hotel it stank of smoke, there were lighters and cigarette ends on the balcony, had to leave the balcony door which didn’t have a key open for a few days, very spacious though and a big fridge / freezer, cleaned every day, gym and pool good in hotel

Thexstaff is not veru helpful and i had problem communicate because they speak poor english.vi had a room with city view which was a view of ugly buildings. I don't think i will be back here. We travel a lot so i have been in many hotels tjis one is not the best.

- Michael (6/5): - This is a modern, nice looking hotel. The rooms are large and well designed, beds good and shower nice. The staff at reception were excellent, very helpful and very nice. It was the strongest point. On the down side, a towel hook, the shower hand rail and hot winter nozzle were all loose. They need to up their maintenance because it’s a shame to have such a nice room but these issues. Also we had a dirty hand towel they did replace. Finally, it was noisy in terms of hearing things from room above in terms of chairs being pulled across the room. I did the same thing. All I hey need is to put the felt pads on the bottom. But all in all a nice place and we felt ok in the immediate vicinity. They correctly warned us not to be careless with our phones. And they set up an excellent tour

Maintenance service would not come to clean hour bathroom & pickup trash. She came after she was pushed to. Bed sheets with visible stains upon arrival. Curtains need to be washed.

I forgot my credit card and without this magic thing they won't let you into the hotel, absolutely idiotic situation, I've been to many hotels in the world but I've never experienced anything so stupid. apart from that I advise against visiting Argentina, boring country

- anahib393 (2/5): Bad - Extremely Disappointing Experience_ I recently had the misfortune of booking a room at this hotel on short notice due to a flight cancellation. My one-night stay was marred by appalling mistreatment from the staff. The hotel's inability to manage basic guest situations is staggering. Upon arrival, I was met with a dismissive and unfriendly front desk team. The staff seemed completely uninterested in resolving my issues. They appeared untrained in basic customer service. The lack of empathy and understanding from the staff was shocking. It's clear that the hotel is severely understaffed and unprepared to handle even the simplest requests. Unless the hotel takes serious steps to address3 these issues, I strongly advise against staying here. The mistreatment I received has left a sour taste, and I will not return. - Unfriendly and dismissive front desk staff - Poor management of basic guest situations - Lack of empathy and understanding from staff - Severe understaffing and unpreparedness _Would not recommend_

- Billy (6/5): NO HAY PARQUEO - El hotel debería de quitar de sus amenidades o aclarar que el Parqueo está sujeto a disponibilidad, en mi caso siempre rento vehículo y busco hoteles que tengan Parqueo, fue molesto llegar cansado y que encima te digan que tienes que ver que haces con el Parqueo.
- Hector (6/5): - The hotel is a 4th star but the breakfast included is poor and always the same, as the menu of the restaurant. I don't think this hotel deserves that category, but 3 star.
- talesfromp (2/5): Stay away from this hotel. - The receptionists are awful. All the personnel treats you like garbage. It's unimaginable that a 4 star hotel would make their guests feel like they are not welcome. No manager on site to complain about these things. Terrible breakfast. Everything about it is just dreadful. Hard pass.
- Rafael (6/5): Not the best experience - The first apartment they gave us, both heaters did not work. They took forever to get us a different room. We could not call front desk, we had to text via WhatsApp’s. Communication was not all that great. Although the food is great but The restaurant takes for ever to bring your food out. Our apartment did not have much pots and pans and very little dinner ware. The apartment they moved us to was much better and the over all stay was okay at the end. Will probably look elsewhere to stay.
