• Eckart (10/5): Ein schöner, erlebnisreicher Aufenthalt den wir gern in Erinnerung behalten werden. - Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und in allen Phasen sehr hilfsbereit. Von den Zimmern aus konnten wir viel Wild beobachten Die Farm mit ihrem besonders schönen Swimmingpool liegt traumhaft in der Landschaft am Fusse hoher Berge. Wir, unsere Kinder und Enkel haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und bedauert, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten.

• Peter (10/5): Schönes Ende der Welt - Eine Oase an einem schönen Ende der Welt. Wir haben die Ruhe, den Pool und die fantastische Aussicht genossen. Das Highlight war der Ausritt am Morgen. Linda macht das sehr professionell und die Landschaft ist einmalig.

The staff was very loving and caring. A special thanks to Linda who took us out on her horses, who are well trained and extremely well taken care of. During the ride we were taken away by the wonderful landscape and even saw a bosbok. The pool is also beautiful with amazing views! Overall an absolute gem in the Western Cape and a must visit. Unfortunately we did not have lots of time here so weren’t able to make use of the pool etc but would stay again. Bear in mind the property is along a 16k dirt track road so be careful with a smaller car!
• Hugo (10/5): Exceeded expectations! - Its a beautifull setting the cottage was nice warm and comfortable. The grounds were also beautifull, exceeded my expectations. What would be nice is if they offerend a breakfast with that setting! Just a thought :)

• Cecile (7/5): Nice farm but only for nature loving people who stay longer - The host is very friendly. Big house, nice view into the nature. The farm is really far away from the town. You have to drive a gravel road in the middle of nowhere. For 1 night I would not recommend it, if you love nature and stay a little bit longer I think it’s fine. As nobody was there it was even a little bit scary up there. Arrive during the day.

The holiday home had everything you could possibly need, and we have never experienced such a spotless apartment before — everything even smelled like freshly washed laundry. The children loved the playground, the trampoline, the pool, and the garden. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and truly recharge.

• Jana (10/5): A fantastic, comfortable stay with breathtaking views! - What a glorious venue, with the most breathtaking views of wildlife and mountain range. The swimming pool and pool table in the barn kept my boys busy. Our cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Linda is the best host and spoiled us with freshly baked muffins on our first morning. Highly recommended, we will definitely back! Just sorry I missed the horseback riding. I’ll just have to visit again ;-) Nothing
• Tamina (8/5): - Bei den Unterkünften handelt es sich um kleine, eigene Häuschen, mit eigenem Parkplatz. Es war schön ausgestatten, mit großer Küche und Essbereich, sowie einer Lodgia mit Feuerstelle zum Grillen. Toller Pool mit traumhaftem Bergpanorama, hier gibt es auch einen Gemeinschaftsraum, den man nutzen dürfte. Zudem können Aktivitäten, wie Ausritte und Reitausflüge gebucht werden. Es gibt Kanus zum Ausleihen und man kann schön in der Natur und Umgebung laufen! Durch die vorherige Info zum Lebensmittel einkaufen (es gibt keinen Supermarkt in der Nähe) war der Aufenthalt eine ruhige und entspannte Auszeit! Das Wlan ging leider nicht - aber so kann man schon ausruhen und entspannen.

Wir haben in einem kleinen, urigen Häuschen übernachtet, das mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet war – inklusive Kamin und einer richtig gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Der Blick auf die Berge war einfach atemberaubend. Unsere Tochter war Reiten und hatte sogar eine Pferdekoppel direkt in der Nähe – ein absolutes Highlight für sie! Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig und abgelegen, perfekt zum Abschalten und Genießen. Ein wirklich traumhafter Ort, an den wir jederzeit wiederkommen würden. —-

• Patricia (10/5): Beautiful Farm in the heart of nature - The Farm is really special, beautiful accomondation and there is nothing around but nature. The Cottage is spacious and well-furnished, we had a bbq, and there is coffee as well as drinkable spring water straight from the tab. The view from the pool is magical. Our Expectations were exceeded! We also did a horse riding tour, which was lovely with the mountains in the back. The ride is also adjusted to your skills/experience, so no worry. Linda was a very thoughtful host, communication was really easy. You need to be aware that this accomondation is 30min outside town (Riverdale) and is in the middle of nowhere. But that‘s what makes the stay so special
• Christian (9/5): Leider war der Aufenthalt zu kurz. - Sehr gepflegt mit einer herrlichen Aussicht. Wir sind leider erst spät angekommen. Das Licht war schon an, abgedunkelt und die Kerzen waren schon an. Man ist reingekommen und hat sich sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Nichts auszusetzen. Die Unterkunft war Selbstverpflegung aber Riversdale war nur 25 Fahrminuten entfernt. Hier konnte man sowohl gut zu Abend essen als auch sehr gut frühstücken.

• Thomas (10/5): Sehr cool ! - Durch Zufall sind wir zu diesem außergewöhnlichen Ort gelangt und er hat unsere Südafrikareise sehr bereichert. Die Lage mit der fantastischen Aussicht zu den nahegelegenen Bergen war filmreif. Es wurde uns ein Ausritt mit ihren Pferden angeboten der unvergesslich bleibt obwohl wir über keine Erfahrung im Reiten verfügten.

En zet ook nog echt lekkers klaargezet omdat we zo laat aankwamen❤️ We kwamen in het donker aan. Wat een verrassing in de morgen! Wat een uitzicht! Paar kernwoorden die in me opkomen: stilte, rust, natuur. Het is niet te beschrijven eigenlijk. Dus ik zou dit iedereen aanraden om het zelf te ervaren👍

The absolute highlight was horseriding with Linda. It was my First time and Victor was such a calm and easy horse. 100% recommend staying here!

• D Bateleur (9/5): - Unit is very private and clean. Indoor fireplace area and wood provided each night was the highlight. Beautiful scenery outside and guided horseback riding amongst game highly recommended. Our unit had its own wi-fi router, so wi-fi reception was great. No TV in the unit may be pro for some or con for others, but wi-fi strength was good enough for streaming. Location is a bit out of the way, but the dirt road was well maintained. A gravel friendly vehicle is recommended, but not essential. Gas geysers - worked well and no shortage of hot water, but operation takes getting used to.

Linda and Piet were such welcoming hosts and everything we needed was provided. Afternoon swims, roaring fires in the evenings, soaring mountains and horse riding after a delicious breakfast...this place is perfection. There was nothing we didn't like.

Oudebosch is the most beautiful setting for a break with breathtaking views of meadows, forests and Langeberg mountain. The chalet was perfect, comfortable, cosy and spotless with absolutely everything we needed including a fireplace ready for an indoor bbq. Linda took us on a horse ride the next morning and we could see some wildlife and afterwards relaxed by the pool. We were sorry to leave. Linda came with medicine for my upset stomach. Added bonus: HOME MADE BREAD so fluffy and utterly delicious! Also milk straight from the cow... we were not expecting these added touches. We felt cherished like part of their family! Another bonus was the horse riding into the mountains! This was a wonderful experience! The flies were invasive, but only in the afternoon and only in the fields. Guess that comes with country living! ;)

Piet, Linda, Eunice, and the team have a deep passion and love for what they are doing. And you can see it. Their attention to detail from the moment you book and the time you are there. Yet, they are never in your way. The scenery and surroundings are spectacular, and you feel relaxed at comfortable the moment you arrive. This is our third visit in a row and has a very special place in all of our hearts. We can't wait to return and see the mountains and wildlife again. • Yoricq (10/5): A true Fairytale - The drive-in was just majestic. Something from a movie scene. Each mountain embraces the next, the dam picturesque, and truly remarkable. When we arrived, we were blown away by how much attention to detail our hosts invested in our stay. Our fireplace was not just stacked with Kindle and Firewood but prepared ready. We just had to strike a match. Each utensil we needed was placed outside of the drawers. It was like they knew us personally. On our first morning rise, we received freshly baked scones with cheese and jam. The stay was peaceful with Springbok roaming meters outside of our cottage. This stay rejuvenated us, and we felt deeply loved. We highly recommend this space for a break away. That we could not stay for more nights.

• Katie (8/5): Very comfortable cottage on a stunning farm with incredibly friendly and helpful stadd - We had a lovely one night stay at Oudebosch Guest Farm - the best part being the incredible staff who were very welcoming and really went the extra mile in terms of communication and providing a horse interaction for our kids. The cottage was well kitted out and had everything we needed for the night. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms and house clean. The location was stunning, although it was a lot further out of town than we realised/anticipated. The cottage is pretty far out of town, which we missed in the description/ was not clear to us... But once you are on the farm the views are spectacular. The fire place is inside the lounge and the wood was new wood/wet wood which meant a lot of smoke and everything smelt rather smokey in the morning. The photos of the pool and fire pity are actually of the main guest area which did not seem to be useable in winter/when we were there.

The horse riding is well worth the money. Not only is the scenery stunning, but the horses are well trained, making it enjoyable for people with all levels of riding experience.

Was a bit cold so houses where cold. Was a bit fur from the main road (but that was our mistake ). we didnt meet the owners.

They went out of their way for us! The value for money is incredible, I highly recommend staying here! My fiancé and I wished we could have stayed longer than one night. There is nothing to not like!
• Emma (9/5): Views that dreams are made of - The chalets are superb and cozy with dreamy views of the mountain! We enjoyed the large grass lawn, swimming pool, trampoline and pony rides for the kids immensely. A short drive to the large dam nearby was also very nice. It is such a relaxing space to be in and we were so happy with a delicious preordered dinner on arrival! Very little but on the activities side: The horses were wonderful and calm though the route itself is mostly (beautiful) forest roads - not single-track terrain which may be more interesting/exciting for more experienced riders. Single tracks or marked routes for bicycles would also have been a wonderful addition. It would have been helpful to have nearby hiking trails in a guidebook of sorts to know where to drive to really enjoy the amazing mountains.

• Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - What an amazing place, the scenery is out of this world. Reminded me of series like Outer Range or the movie Nope, but the surroundings here are greener and wilder. Enjoy the horseback ride, even if you have no experience I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful experience exploring. You can also go hiking or use the mountainbikes. I really enjoyed the chats with Linda on the trail and the BBQ at the home. The chalets have everything you need and we even got welcoming muffins and cookies on arrival. The pool is nice and everything is safe. Hope to return some day and I hope many more will enjoy their stay here

I definitely recommend horse riding (Viktor was my gentle guide through the fields). There‘s also a lovely cat and a dog that would make your stay even better. And my little daughter had a blast on the swings and in the pool. It was worth the drive! WLAN not working/stable. Lost connection every minute. Not usable at all.

The communal house by the pool was well beyond equipped with all that you may need. The view was breathtaking. The chalet got really warm in the evening, it was an extremely hot day. I would suggest some form of cooling system. Even just and standing fan would have helped.

• Gillbookings (9/5): Great family time relaxing, hiking and swimming in the beautiful pool. - We booked all 3 cottages and spend a great 10 days over Christmas with family. The cottages were comfortable with beautiful views of the mountain and buck grazing in the fields. We spent most of our time together at the stunning pool area. In the evenings, we braaied and enjoyed the pool table!

• Steffen (10/5): Exceptional - We had such a wonderful, relaxed, luxury and very nice stay there. Staff is very friendly. They offer horse rides with calm and relaxed horses. Very good for experienced and inexperienced riders. We took a 3-4 hours tour which was one of the best experiences we made during our 3 weeks South Africa trip. So relaxing, great views, nice talks to our guide and host Linda. We can definitely recommend this place. What a great stay.
• Bianca (9/5): Ashley&Bianca - The natural surroundings and the tranquillity are amazing! The kitchen was a bit small, but the braai area made up for it in size. The springboks was an added bonus as close as in your backyard😍😍and the most friendly cat!!🥰🥰 The drive is a bit long off road with a regular vehicle, and the WiFi was very weak
• Susanne (9/5): Loved it! - We had a really nice stay at the farm. We had pre booked a 1 hour horse ride and Linda took us out on a great tour with a beautiful scenery and great canters on nice horses.
