- Ursula (10/5): Unglaublich schön und erholsam.. - Kaum angekommen fühlt man sich bereits wie Zuhause. Ein äusserst herzlicher Empfang von allen Mitarbeitern. Die Lobby ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Wir bekamen sogar gratis Fahrräder um zum nahegelegenen Nachtmarkt zu fahren! Eine wunderbare Oase, mit einem äusserst liebevoll gepflegten Garten, einem schönen Pool, direkt am Fluss. Das Zimmer ist sehr speziell, sauber und schön gestaltet. Jeden Abend steht eine „Gute Nacht“ Überraschung bereit und das Bett ist aufgeschlagen. Unglaublich schöne Geste. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Hier darf und kann man ausruhen und einfach sein. Wir hatten leider einen zu kurzen aber sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank!

The property truly feels like a private villa – very family-run, warm, and welcoming. The garden with the beautiful pool overlooking the small river/canal is simply stunning and creates a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, always making you feel at home. The absolute highlight for us was the breakfast on the outdoor terrace with a view of the garden and pool – simply fantastic. A very special mention goes to Ms. Gift, the young chef in the kitchen, who prepares everything à la carte and serves it with a smile. It doesn’t get any better than this. Truly a TOP recommendation! -/-

- Sarah (10/5): Beautiful Amphawa Villa - Villa Apmphawa set in a beautiful location, 5 mins tuk tuk to the floating market and 10/15 minutes tuk tuk to Umbrella Street. The tuk tuk man gave us his number, so we were able to call him when we needed to be picked up. It is set in beautiful surroundings and a beautiful garden area. There is a waterway that runs at the bottom of the garden, perfect for watching the local wildlife. We spotted monitor lizards, kingfisher birds, and squirrels running through the trees. The staff were really helpful and we were greeted with a lovely refreshing drink. Rooms were large and airy and comfortable beds. Breakfast was beautifully served and really tasty, and the lady that served us was really attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We stayed two nights before heading back to fly home from BKK. Could quite happily have stayed longer. Nothing not to like. However if you are looking for something lively, it may not be the place for you. We often had the pool to ourselves, and it felt like we were the only ones staying. It's perfect for relaxation and to be able to wind down.

It was eventually rectified... The blurb on Booking.com said that there was a restaurant and bar ... this is not the case.... It was a main point to us staying ( This must be removed from their advertising) We eventually got a takeaway ... Nice but limited choice for breakfast ...
- Howard (10/5): Amazing location - From the welcome we received on arrival, until being presented with a bag of cookies on departure, the whole experience was delightful. Villa Amphawa is in a great location to your around the many interesting sites in the province, from floating markets to exceptional seafood. A trip here wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Umbrella Market, just check the train times first. The staff are so attentive, but not in your face. I highly recommend this place and will return.

However, we are happy with those choices as it varies enough to fill. - Room size is average and there are spaces for our luggage - Room is clean and all facilities were working fine. They provide towels / hair dryers / slippers which we love - They offer daily cleaning and private parking spaces - Staffs are all super friendly and very helpful - Location is good in terms of quiet and privacy. If you don't have car, then it's gonna be difficult to travel The only downside would be UNSTABLE hot water. It was a bit annoying when taking shower. Sometimes it's boiling hot and then another minute it was freezing cold.

He told us of a nice place to go to for dinner and also organised a tuktuk to take us and bring us back. Breakfast on the patio was lovely, also a lovely clean swimming pool was appreciated. I loved the beautiful furnishings in the common areas. We liked everything.

It was great to hire a bicycle ( free of charge )to explore the neighbour hood and the local floating markets. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. absolutely nothing everything was great

The property is new but gives the feeling you have arrived at an old french/english colonial style place. Antique furniture decorates the place and there are many corners that invite you to sit and dream. The service is well above average for a place like this. Excellent is the right world. - Tino (10/5): - Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist sehr geschmackvoll mit Liebe zum Detail. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Die Lage am Fluss ist wunderschön. Mit dem Tuk Tuk ist man in wenigen Minuten in Amphawa. Für eine größere Sightseeing-Tour (6h) wurde uns vom Personal ein Fahrer organisiert. Wir haben uns mehrmals Fahrräder ausgeliehen und sind zu nahe gelegenen Restaurants gefahren. Die angebotene Massage war auch toll! Da nur wenige Gäste dort waren, gab es das Frühstück a la carte an den Tisch, kein Buffet.
