• Nika (6/5): It’s ok, clean room and comfortable bed but nothing extraordinary and there’s room for improvement. - The hostel is clean, there’s water jug in a private room, the bed is comfortable, there’s a nice terrace at the second floor. Soundproofing is very poor: you hear all kind of noise from the street (and street is not quite at night). It would be more comfortable if there was a little bedside table and a night lamp. There’s was also no soap in the shower and no soul mat, so you bring all wetness from the shower to the room.

• Samuel (9/5): Ci tornerai senza dubbio - La stanza spaziosa, armadietto gigante, letto comodo, quello sotto con la tendina. C'è un tavolino e 2 sedie. Oscuranti alle finestre. Prezzo top. Doccia bella calda. Pulito. Terrazza graziosa, c'è una cucina/zona living grande. Posizione ok, zona tranquilla, accanto al commissariato. C'è un po' di tutto nelle vicinanze - bar, negozietti, ristoranti. La receptionist gentile e mi ha mostrato tutto. Pagamento in euro in contanti. Letto sotto basso, non c'è possibilità di stare seduti. Manca la lucina letto e ganci in camera. Comunicazione attraverso booking molto lenta - risposta dopo più di 24 ore. Assurda la mancanza di coperchio water. Mancava sapone nella doccia.
• Mateja (8/5): Nice for short time - The hostel is in a good location, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The bus station is also close, which made getting around easy. The bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and it was quiet enough for me to get a good night’s sleep I honestly think that having 4 beds in such a small room is far too much. The shower cabin, if it can even be called that, is not properly separated, so after showering the entire bathroom floor turns into a pool of water. Since the bathroom is also connected to the toilet, the whole setup feels very poorly designed. The glass on the bathroom door also makes it uncomfortable to shower because everything inside is visible. I would also like to mention something to future guests staying in the small 4-bed female dorm: please open the windows regularly. The smell in the room became unbearable at times. This especially applies to the women staying there, since it is a female-only room. Basic hygiene and fresh air really do matter. Humanity somehow managed to invent online banking and AI, yet “opening a window” still remains an unsolved technological frontier for some people!

Terrasse accessible Espace cuisine ok mais on ne sait pas où trouver le café alors qu'il paraît qu'on peut en acheter ? Serviette en supplément, il manquait régulièrement du papier toilette, la poubelle de la chambre a débordé 2 jours avant qu'elle soit changée. Quartier un peu bruyant. Peu de salle d'eau / toilette

The beds are comfortable and with curtains. The hot water broke but they refunded us 50% of the cost back. Would be nice if there were lights by the beds.

• Arsi Ajeti (10/5): Artistic vibes all around - Art hostel has a pretty good location and could be considered as one of the safest hostel to stayy in Tirana, due to proximity (15 meters) to the police station. Beds are comfortable and Wi Fi is pretty strong, while staff here is also amazing. And this, in my opinion makes Art Hostel unique, as well as my go to place everytime I pass by Tirana for a short stay, after long flights that I usually have. It might be a wise choice to provide extra slippers (not to me) but to other guests.

• Gabriel (10/5): El mejor lugar, espacio y amabilidad - Enamodorismo de este lugar, sin duda alguna volveré y si quieres hacer extensión de noches, si se puede sin trabas pero recuerda, en efectivo siempre. Las personas del staff son un amor, especialmente la chica de la entrada que es un amor de persona. Me quedé en la habitación de 20 camas, solamente habíamos 4 en total, pero sin duda alguna puede cambiar en épocas de alta demanda y puedes estar toda la madrugada si quieres en la áreas comunes, solo recuerda que, apagar la luz y el ac al bajar. El Internet no se conecta o si es que se conecta esta muy lento en áreas comunes (en la esquina izquierda al momento de entrar) deberían de poner una extension para más comodidad, si dicen que esta lejos del centro, son solamente 15 mins caminando, nada fuera de lo común, lo recomiendo ampliamente!

Love the stay and definitely I will come again to albania specially due to staff friendly (don't know how could looks like on summer season, we were only 4 people at 20 beds room) The wifi internet it's quiet weak on some point at common area (left corner if you enter) should add an extender or something but other thing else, super nice just be aware it's only cash + taxes shown at this app

• Ivett (6/5): Ok budget stay - It’s a pleasant hostel with a nice terrace, kitchen, living room, both dorms and private rooms. The bedroom felt clean. The price was really affordable and it’s not too far from the centre and there are some shops and restaurants around. I stayed in a private room which was ok, the bathroom just about, the shower temperature a bit unreliable and on the scalding side. I wished there were more information for guests and tourists around and plugs and lights around the bed. The kitchen has cups and kettle but no ingredients to make a tea or coffee. Payment for the room is cash only. Overall, I could stay again but mainly for the price.

• Sakhr (3/5): Never recommend it - The location, Scam They charged me 5€plus for the taxi 🚖 usually 20€from the Tirana Airport as they mentioned by email,, scam 2-i booked room for 8beds ..but they put me in open space of 16 beds as was very difficult to move or arrange my things,3-the bathroom has 2 toilets and two showers cabinet.. together 🤧

• Guest (2/5): - The bed was reasonably comfortable Very dirty bathrooms, no functioning toilet flush so the management provided a pot to fill up the toilet so we were able to flush, the water quit working completely in the early morning (1 am) and the shower was cold. The property also only accepts cash (lek or euro) which was unclear upon booking. Best have exact change. I also booked a bed in a four bed dorm and was provided a bunk bed, which I was hoping to avoid.

• Rose (6/5): Get what you pay for, okay stay. - Clean room, get what you pay for, seemed to have happy people staying there. Good location to town, comfy bed. Despite arriving during desk check in hours, there was no one there to sign us in, instead they left our room key on the desk with our name on, so anyone could have made off with it. They also weren’t great at responding to the fact that I left my sunglasses there, which they say were not found.

But what makes this hostel exceptional is the staff - the two young women at the reception desk are absolutely wonderful - friendly, kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to help me - I cannot thank them enough for all they did for me!!!

They also communicated with me in advance to arrange transportation and show me the room as I checked in late. Very organized and clear! I woke up super early because of construction work nearby and a few other times before because you could hear everything outside in the terrace or the hallways.

There is a lot of mould on the bathroom ceiling; not much of a community feeling (traveling end of May it felt like I was the only one staying there).

• Seda (8/5): Good value - We liked that it was silent and comfortable. There was lots of light coming inside the room in the mornings. I liked that. The room is spacious enough and we felt safe around the area. It’s close to the city center and there are markets which are open until late at night. The bathroom gets all wet after taking a shower, simple slippers would be good in the room. Also the wifi didn’t work at all in our room and we couldn’t use the tv.
• Emmjay (6/5): Pleasant - The staff members are friendly and understanding, able to communicate. - the bed is quite comfortable unfortunately, they don't provide some amenities that are of basic necessity for visitors to use, as a tourists hostel.. - towels are not provided - No shower gel or bathing soap - No slippers to use when going to the general bathroom where waters are splashed on the floor and even in toilet floors. - No coffee/tea facilities. so, apparently,every tourists are on their own.

• Bradley (8/5): Comfy and cost effective option for a friendly no-frills hostel. - Comfy beds, very helpful reception staff and a manageable walk into the main square and bus pickup points for lindor terminal and blue bus out to bunkart/cable car. Also had filtered drinkable water in the kitchen. Poor ventilation in the bathroom has led to mould on the ceiling. It was cheap and had what we needed, so happy to put it with that for a few nights.

• Marwa (3/5): I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the private room. - The location was ideal—just a quick 10-minute walk to the Square, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth arrival and assisting us with our luggage when we needed to leave our things. I was really disappointed with my stay at this location. While the ideal location made it convenient and the staff were super friendly, the condition of the room was completely unacceptable. We booked a private room for two people, but upon arrival, we found it to be dirty and unkempt, it looked nothing like the photos, and we were uncomfortable the whole night. Several issues stood out: the sheets on the bed looked unclean, with stains and hair still on them. The bath towels also had stains on them. The floors in the room and the shower were dirty, and there was no soap/gel in the shower, we couldn’t even shower properly. There was a bad musty smell when we walked into the room, and we heard loud noises constantly throughout the night. Overall, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the room. I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.

The thing that was strange differentiating it from the other places that i have been (with the same budget) was that it was very clean in every corner. Also the syaff was very helpful for the informations i needed even thought i am from Albania as well but i still had a few questions. For the price that i have paid, i dont think that there is any thing to complain since there are places with much more higher prices and in worse conditions.
