- Moose (9/5): Tremendous View - The covered terrace just outside the room had a tremendous view of the valley. You could see the balloons in the morning. The breakfasts were plentiful and very tasty. Breakfast was served on the terrace. The room had a wardrobe with a safe inside. The safe needed new batteries and they were replaced right away. The bed was comfortable. The radiator provided sufficient heat when it got cold at night. Bottled water was provided. Shampoo and shower gel were provided. There was a fireplace in the room though unused.

We could not fault our stay at Maya Cave, my goodness, it's incredible and the location & view will be forever imprinted in our memories. Pigeon Valley at night is something to behold! Honestly, if we could have, we would have stayed longer! Easy walk to Uchisar, which was such a lovely village, lots of restaurants, quirky eating spots and the people were so friendly, they really made our trip! A five minute taxi ride to Goreme, the taxi's are located at the top of the path for about 300 lira - a cheap and easy way to spend a fabulous day shopping and eating :) OMG, the breakfast was outstanding! Breads, cheeses, spreads, juices, pastries, olives, eggs, coffee - you won't go hungry, we didn't need lunch. We had our breakfast on the terrace and wow, what a view it was! Get up early & watch the balloons, it's worth the early start! Our room was gorgeous -clean, very comfy beds and the room was toasty warm. The shower was tops, good pressure and temperature. The hotel is beautiful, small and quaint, just what we needed for 2 friends travelling. Our hosts - Funda, Ben, Mede (sorry if my spelling of names is wrong!) and the beautiful staff were so attentive and friendly, we felt like part of the family. In fact, we spent an evening chatting together with wine and other hotel guests, a perfect end to our days. They also packed us breakfast for our very early departure to Kayseri airport. Thank you so very much for caring for us during our stay. Uchisar and Türkiye, exceeded our expectations and we were so sad to say goodbye. The breakfast was amazing and the views were stunning. Ali was very friendly and enthusiastic about helping us every step of the way. Since it's really close to the center and the castle, we could walk around very easily to find tours, restaurants and taxis within a 5 minute walking distance. Wifi worked really well as we had a router in the room. The roof terrace allowed us to have a good view of the hot-air-balloons in the morning. The hotel is overall pretty quiet. If you have to do laundry, don't ask this hotel; they send it to a dry-cleaner. It's about three times as expensive as doing laundry elsewhere in the area. We didn't have any other issues.

- Marianne (10/5): Would highly recommend to any traveler visiting cappadocia. - The staff was absolutely incredible. So attentive and also set up every experience that I desired! The breakfast was huge and always ready when I woke up. I cannot overstate how kind everyone was and just so happy that I was staying there. Also, the bed was soooo comfortable I just melted into it. Nothing. It was perfect.

Elinizi yorgandan dışarı çıkarmaya yeltenmeyeceğiniz kadar soğuktu. Konaklamanın 2.Ve 3. Günü rahat ettik biraz, çünkü bir adet portatif fanlı sobalarını aldık. İlk gün tamirde olduğunu söylemişlerdi. Çalışanlar çok güleryüzlü. Temizlik fena değil ancak lavabo kokuyor biraz.

- BELGIN (4/5): - We stayed at Deluxe double room (byzantine). It was a cave room. I am ver frequent traveller and I stayed in a cave room before but This was the worst room I stayed. The room was so humid that the bed was very wet. We couldn’t sleep. It was very unpleasent stay.

There is no AC in the room (it’s not really necessary) there are only 2 car spot infront of the hotel, so it was not a big deal because we’ve stayed there on off-season, we could park our car easily. Good for price/value.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing location: at the outer ring of the city and in one of the highest altitudes (1300 feet~) giving a perfect view of the rock formations and Hot air balloons in the morning! Clean and cozy room with modern facilities and amenities. The best breakfast one could ask for! The staff / owner speaks fluent English, is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He helped us arrange all the tours, personally took us to a carpet shop and was very flexible. The best part was hassle free departure PCR - on request a hospital staff visited the hotel in 20 minutes after we asked him. He collected the sample and results were received on email next afternoon! Highly recommended and best part of our trip to Turkey

Zaten arkadaşlar rahatsız etmesin diye 2 adet hava temizleme makinesi ve 1 ısıtıcı koymuşlar. Denizli ve Konya’da da konakladık ama böyle konforlu değildi. Çalışanlar çok iyi ve samimi. Kahvaltı ve manzara mükemmeldi. Yaşar beye, Leyla hanıma ve Cihan beye çok teşekkür ediyoruz. Cave olduğu İçin Tv, klima ve havuz filan beklemeyin. Zaten koysalar konsept bozulmuş olur. Gezilecek çok yer var.

- Verdell (10/5): - Maya Caves is in a fabulous locations with a spectacular view of the sunrise and all the magical hot air balloons. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff, particularly Layla and Yasar. Layla's smile and energy is infectious. It was truly a great 4-day experience at Maya Cave Hotel. - Verified traveler (10/5): - THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY THE BEST PALCE TO STAY IF VISITING NEVŞEHİR, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT !!! When I first booked for Nevşehir I was not expecting this place to be this amazing I felt like I was at home. I was constantly asked if they could do anything to make my experience better, which I was not expecting. Two people in particular made my experiences so much better, I would personally like to thank Layla and Ali for honestly being the best hosts! I have never seen a hotel so clean, we popped into the market for maximum 10 minutes and came back to a fully cleaned room! The view of the balloons are amazing from the hotel and the rooms themselves are unreal! I felt like I was living in history itself! The rooms are absolutely beautiful!!! Thank you Maya Cave Hotel for giving me an experience I will never forget! Will definitely be visiting again.

- Theresa (10/5): Beautiful place. - Absolutely wonderful place. Very unique. Cave setting with top of the line accommodations. Marble bathroom floors, beautiful rainfall shower, great bed. The terrace just outside our room, as well as the rooftop terrace provide an outstanding view of the Cappadocia valley. You cannot get this view in the nearby town of Gorhem. Our host, Yassar was great. Very helpful and friendly. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about our stay in this hotel. It made a great trip, even better.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Yes, you are staying in a cave! It is very cute. Staff is kind and friendly. There is parking next to front door of cave only enough for one or two cars that are adventurous enough to drive down the very steep cobblestone path. Otherwise, you can easily park at the top of the hill. This is a common situation around here. They provided a wonderful breakfast special made for us when we let them know we were ready for breakfast. Beds and bedding is very comfy.
- Onn Ee (8/5): Pleasant stay, fantastic staff. - Location is central in Uschisar, just 3 minutes walk to the castle. The room is pleasant, a little disappointed that it wasn’t a proper cave room so double check your booking cos a number of them are not cave rooms. The manager is an absolute Gem, super helpful and efficient. Gave us great recommendation on everything.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staying at Maya Cave Hotel was an excellent experience. The location is perfect as it’s just outside of Goreme which is great because it’s quiet and peaceful, and of course you get the view of both Goreme valley and Pidgeon valley which mean we can see the hot air balloons from Maya Cave and if you want, you can walk to a hill and be the only ones there. Uchisar is much closer to Goreme than Ugup which means you can walk to Goreme and catch a taxi back (which is very cheap) if you don’t want to walk back up the hill. Yasar the hotel owner is fantastic, as is his brother. Both have worked in the tourism industry for years and are very helpful and will ensure your stay is exceptional. They will give you all the tips without always trying to sell you something. This made life easy for us when they gave us options so that we can do organised tours on one day and just do our own thing the next. This is a proper cave hotel, so in our room the “Ottoman” the cave was at the back of the room and the rest was built so that had the best of both worlds and not feel cramped but can enjoy a cave experience. The hotel was beautifully styled, delicious traditional Turkish breakfast and super comfy bed and fluffy towels!
