• Marina (9/5): Es war ein schöner Urlaub den ich bei Gelegenheit gerne wiederholen möchte. - Ein Aufzug ist vorhanden. Das Badezimmer war etwas eng für einen Rollstuhl. Wer etwas flexibel ist, kommt damit zurecht. Die Schiebetür zum Bad, lässt sich zu beiden Seiten hin verschieben. Duschstuhl war vorhanden. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Personal hat mir dabei geholfen nach einer Reparaturmöglichkeit/Ersatz für meinen defekten Rollstuhl zu suchen. Der Yotsuya Bahnhof ist nur 2 Minuten entfernt und ebenfalls barrierefrei, und man kommt leicht in alle Richtungen. Im Hotel gibt es die Möglichkeit zum Wäschewaschen und trocknen, einen Getränkeautomaten, Kaffee und Mikrowelle. In der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Neben dem Yotsuya Bahnhof gib es auch ein kleines Einkaufszentrum mit Shops, Restaurants, Friseur usw. Mir hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen. Es gab vom Hotelzimmer keine Aussicht nach draußen. Das nebenstehende Gebäude war dafür zu nah. Lüften war jedoch möglich. Die LED´s an den Lichtschaltern waren nachts leider etwas zu hell.

Buena ducha y buena cama. Muy buena ubicación a 1 parada de Shinjuku a 2 cuadras de estación y zona llena de restaurantes. Muy recomendable

• Bantang (9/5): Near train station, accommodating staff, overall satisfied - The location is convenient since it is near Yotsuya Station. It is located in a narrow alley near various food establishments and convenience stores. The staff are very accommodating, and you can leave your baggage before check-in time and the staff will bring it to your room when it is already check-in time. Breakfast was also included in my booking and I must say it is enough for me, not too many choices but very filling. They also have free beer and ice pops at night, and somehow you can take your dinner there since rice is cooked at dinner in the lounge (dinner is not included in my booking).

Problem is we had to leave at 7 so we missed breakfast that we paid for. I own 3 guest houses and we always accommodate guests that are departing early. If the breakfast is ready you should allow guests to have something.

The bed mattress is better than most Japanese hotels, but still not as comfortable as we would like. Bedding is very nice and clean though.

I didn't have time to actually consume those. What amazes me is that despite the outside of the hotel lined up with many restaurants, you don't get to hear those noisy crowds from your room. The small table that is beside the bed. With my luggage taking up so much space, the table is in the way. It is good to have beside the bed but it is too cramped. The elevator always stops at the reception desk level 2. It doesn't matter which level you're heading to.

Food in street is good. Room was fine for all the time we were in it. Room was small but that is Japan and just something to get used to. Breakfast was good but maybe more non Japanese food. We enjoyed it but can imagine travellers may not be used to fish meat and rice for breakfast.

None of the outside noise will be heard in the room. Also, it's close to the metro station! Hotel rooms in Tokyo are on the small side; this one was no exception. It is perfect when you are a solo traveller, it might be a bit harder to navigate the room with two or more people.

It is close to Yotsuya station. It is only a five minutes walk. We very highly recommend the Hotel New Shohei. None. We really did not have any complaints with this hotel although it only has 26 rooms, they are well serviced.

I asked the staff in the front desk if there was another possibility and the woman simply shrugged her shoulders without even checking in the kitchen. I was very disappointed. The street is also very noisy and I had people screaming in front of my window until late hours.
• Tal (8/5): The hotel lived up to expectations - The location is excellent!!! Close to a train station with 4 subway lines, also there are lots of restaurants around. The room is very small, but that's probably how hotel rooms in Tokyo are.
• Annette (10/5): Exceptional - Although there are not many items for breakfast (compare to other hotel's buffet), it is the best hotel breakfast I have ever had! The food is very tasty, the bar is very nice as well, and there's also late night snack. Can't think of any tbh.
• Kay (7/5): Served the purpose - Location, staff and provision in lounge re drinks, food Bed was hard, no space in room, no chair to sit on and the 2 tables alongside bed made movement difficult. One table should be taken out of the room, the other put under the television with a chair at the table for people to sit at. Breakfast was minimal.

• Timothy (10/5): Fantastic and conveniently located hotel with comfortable rooms for solo travellers - Location was fantastic, less than 5 minutes by foot from Yotsuya station. Room was small but comfortable and breakfast was of good quality!
• Dutch (10/5): Great stay in Tokyo - Super clean, super friendly staff, bustle free and really quiet. Free breakfast in the morning, free drinks in the evening. It's in a prime spot in an alley with many food options and only a 3 minute walk to the train station. If you travel light and are there for an extended time, the hotel offers free laundry service with the exception of undergarments. Or if you wish, there is a nice modern laundromat a walkable distance away. I will definitely be staying here the next time I visit Tokyo. It was a non-issue for me, but they require you to turn in your hotel room key (it's an actual key, not a keycard) when you go out.

• Jonathan (9/5): Great Location in Yotsuya - The location is great. Lots of restaraunts, pubs, coffee shops and everything open various hours. Easy to find anything you want within a block any time day or night. Busy area but mostly locals so its quiet and safe as anywhere else in Tokyo. 3 minute walk to bus and metro. No real view from my room and the breakfast ended earlier than I expected so I missed out but you can get free beverages any time from lobby which is nice.
