AinilI (6/5): Fairly good - Room clean, nice shower with reasonable size room. No carpet in room, only tile. But it's ok. Has TV, aircond, fairly good bed. But room not sound proof. So you can hear foot steps, people talking and plug in at 2am in the morning. Price ok. Short 1 night stay fine. Hotel amongst shop lots building. Parking at basement quiet narrow.
weiminn2018 (8/5): Good view of river. Difficult carpark. - Very central and next to the food street. Lobby is on the 1st floor. Rooms clean and comfortable. The room I got faces the river, had to pay more to get a river facing room. Entry and download to carpark is very tight and difficult to move. First slope at entrance is steep, can scratch bottom of the car. No lift from basement, have to carry bags to G lvl.
Reazbd (8/5): Good Budget Hotel - The only problem I faced is parking. Their parking facilities are limited and it is only for small sedan car. This put me in trouble to find parking for my car. Rest all are ok. Location is good. But the lobby is in second floor and there is no option for disable people. There are few steps every guests have to take to reach to lift.

Xin-Fang (8/5): Great value for the location - The hotel is strategically located, facing the Muar River. The famous New Eastern Restaurant (Hainanese chicken chop) is just around the corner. Basement carpark is available (only 1 lane for enter and exit). A RM50 room deposit is required during check-in. One must bring along the TV and air-conditioner remote controllers together with the deposit receipt during check-out to get his/her deposit fully refundable. The reception counter is located on the first floor of the building. There is a small lift for the guests to go up their rooms. This lift is situated on the ground floor of the building. The guests are required to use their room card to gain access to their room. This is an added security feature. Or else anyone can go up to higher floors in view of the location of the lift. We booked a room for three adults (Triple Room). However, the slippers, bottled water and toothbrush & toothpaste are only provided for 2 persons. The air-conditioned room is spacious. The bathroom is clean and big too. Our room is located on 4th floor. There is a total of 5 floors in the building. Iron and ironing board, and the hot/cold water dispenser are available on our floor. Overall, we had a good night stay in this hotel. We love its location and affordable price.

TL7 (8/5): Great value for money - This establishment understands its role as a basic and no-frills hotel perfectly and delivers well in all areas. It had a cosy and comfortable lobby with extremely helpful and accommodating front desk staff. Stayed in a standard deluxe room and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and well maintained the room was. They offered all the basic amenities and most importantly, the room and toilet was clean and felt fresh. It wasn't perfect (they don't provide hangars, and the entire toilet gets wet with every shower) but overall comfortable. The hotel is strategically located at the city center and somewhat overlooks the river which offers some good views. Overall a good experience and really great value for money.

Norish78 (2/5): Will not consider ... - Stayed with family on 14 Sept Booked with Expedia for a family room (2 queen beds). Surprised to get 1 king bedQ with 1 super single. I dont feel save staying there. The emergency door was opened all the time. Room amenities ... very basic. I got towel with a big hole! Overall i dont enjoy my stay and shall not consider coming back staying here in future.
Suhada (2/5): Not good. - Kalau bawa MPV, tak boleh parking dalam hotel parking. Kena parking kat luar. Parking kat luar pulak susah banyak kereta. Akhirnya kena parking jauh dengan bawa beg dan segala macam.Pertama dan terakhir duduk disini. Spoiled my family mood.

Verified traveler (8/5): A Good Night Stay. - Hotel was good. Didnt managed to walk around the hotel though. Basically there for 1 night so the basic necessities was there. Towel, shower amenities and coffee. Room was big which is good. However parking was on the down side. Its the basment and parking was cramp abit.
Amin (8/5): - Nice & spacious room. 2 things to highlight 1st when we shut down the ventilator in the bathroom, the beside room ventilator will leaved sucked air back in mine bathroom. For this case, other room was smoking in the bathroom and we had been a passive smoker. Had to always switch on our ventilator. 2nd, not enough parking space for guests. Suggest for others to buy the parking coupons and park your car outside hotel at designated park lot.

Our room is windowless, unlike all the pictures I saw on the booking site; one part of the room wall is starting to peel; the washing bidet and the tap connected to it is far; the carpark to the lobby is via a narrow stairway.

Nigel Sze Shand (4/5): There are better places to stay with that price. - Car park is small, cramp, and very smelly! Hard to go in and out of it and there's no lift so you have to carry it up the stairs (which is REALLY smelly and dirty) to the ground floor lift to go up 1st floor to the lobby. Room is spacious but it's not the cleanest. We actually forfeited one night because it didn't feel comfortable. No view. Toilet was quite dark. No proper place to hang clothes. No in-room phone to call the reception.

zaharullail (2/5): Quite Comfortable - The price affordable. The room quite comfortable. Good location and easy to find restaurant in front the hotel. Just walking no need to drive. Very nearby the Muar River. Highly recommended for the tourist.
LalaaSaid (8/5): One of the best place to stay in Muar - Who knew, Muar is actually a historic place. There is a lot of historical things/sites to be discover if you know the locals. The hotel itself located strategically in the heart of Pekan Muar. Walking distance to old shop lots, and night bazar. Truely a wonderful sight. Local cuisine, Coffee 434, not to be missed, along with satay and mee bandung. Pekan Muar is the cleanest town i ever visited. If you had a chance, do go for a boat ride along the Muar river. It only cost RM12.00
joannang88 (6/5): Basic hotel, don't expect much. - We took a Standard Deluxe room costing RM88 per night. That's quite cheap but you get what you pay for - a very basic room with no frills. 1. Room is tiled and not carpeted. Reasonably clean although floor felt a bit dusty. 2. Toilet bowl is very old and has some set-in stains at the edge of the seat cover. 3. Sink in toilet is very small and you have to bend very low to use it. As a result, you tend to knock your head on the amenity shelf above it as the shelf juts too far out. 4. There's no shower stall or curtain to block off the spraying water when you shower, so the whole toilet including the toilet paper which is just next to the shower area gets completely wet. 5. There's no fridge and kettle in the room. However, hot/cold water is available at the corridor near the lift. 5. Room is quite small and there's no wardrobe. 6. Mattress is okay, at least it doesn't sink in the centre.. Pillows are very flat and soft. 7. We requested for a non-smoking room but got a smoking room instead. But we didn't bother to ask for a change of room as the reception lady didn't look too friendly. No smile or greeting from her when we arrived to do check-in. 8. Forget about watching TV - it was not clear at all. 9. Rooms with river view cost RM40 more which is almost half the cost of the room and there's no point paying that for a river view that has nothing to look at. Overall, this is not for fussy stayers and if you're not staying long and just need a bed to sleep on, this is good enough.
TPChe (6/5): simple hotel to spend the night in Muar - I spent a night here in this hotel. First thing is that the lift is not working and I have to walk up the stairs to the reception to the first floor. Luckily the room given was in the first floor too. Room was spacious , clean and the wifi signal was strong. The TV reception was bad and you can barely watch the fuzzy images on screen. it quite conveniently located near the town city, maybe a 10mins walk away from the bus terminal. Overall good for a short stay in Muar
Elynn_Gan (4/5): Hotel counter gave spare room card to a person who did not belong to the room! - My parents stayed in this hotel over the weekend. One night around 12am, someone came banging on their room door shouting for it to be opened. At first my parents ignored him thinking it was just some drunk & the person stopped after half a minute or so. What was appalling is that THE GUY CAME BACK OPENED THE DOOR. Apparently he went to the counter and asked for a spare which they simply gave it to him without checking if he really stayed in that room! He stayed in a Level 5 room and my parents were at Level 4! To the owner, please remind your staff to always DOUBLE CHECK with the photocopies of the passports they have made for each room before blindly giving away spare keys to whoever that asks for it. Incident aside, the hotel itself provides basic and sufficient amenities, room is reasonably clean and their counter staff are friendly. Just that they need more training on hotel guests safety.
Harley_Rider_883 (6/5): The choice when I am in Muar - The room is medium to large in my opinion. Has coffee and tea making facilities but no kettle, as you need to get hot water near the lift. The location is fabulous as it is right in the heart of town and just a road crossing to the famous food street in Muar. It has parking facility but very limited. Once they are full, you need to park by the road-side which can be quite worry-some (Sunday is working day in Muar and get your parking coupons ready).
KennethLimBW (6/5): Very basic Hotel - Basic hotel that ok for a night stay. Free wifi and parking. Bed, bathroom and floor were clean enough but window area was dirty. Only local TV channels are available. The location is good and a lot of food is just walking distance.
ongtingyong (6/5): Average Hotel - Comfortable bed. Decent toilet but slightly dirty. Simple hotel, but has a bad Carpark. I was here for business hence only used the place to sleep and bathe, so it was okay and I will consider coming back again in the future.
Caven_Hoh (8/5): Within the centre of Muar town - If you are driving, there are car parks at the basement, just ask the security guard to lead you the way. Room is spacious, same goes to bathroom. Bed and pillows are comfortable too. No comments on the breakfast as my stay is without breakfast. Walking distance to nearby attractions and local food stalls.
sys9393 (4/5): My first and last visit - 1) The floor is not clean enough. 2) the parking lots are limited, narrow and drove me crazy to park my car! If you want to park outside the basement, the risk is on yours.. 3) claimed to have wifi but the connection is very very very slow. But the fact that my mobile data only receives 'E' inside of room made me even disappointed. 4) your room card is crucial when you want to have access to lift.
lineasy2 (6/5): Basic hotel - The hotel is about 10mins away from the bus terminal. Room is clean and is safe as it required the card to access the room level. Wifi is pretty stable. The hotel is near to the glutton street 5mins walk away and directly opposite Maybank.
Madamtobib (8/5): Great Location, New, clean & Very Safe - Stayed 2 nites here. Its a corner 5 storey shoplot with a Basement parking. Parking down there is a bit tricky, but safe. No lift from the basement to the Grd floor though. Need to go up the stairs. Need Access key to go up to room. Very secure. Big clean room & bathroom. But all tiles. No rugs or carpets. Water pressure's good. But bathroom has slippery tiles. Old folks & children; Be careful in the bathroom. Location wise is great. Right smack in the middle of town, yet faces the river & bridge, not a bad view. Small shops around, good to browse through. Price wise is ok, paid RM146/ night for weekday rate. No breakfast as the hotel has no cafe. Lots of eateries all within walking distance. Muar ppl are nice and friendly. Lots of foreigh workers ie pakistanis, bangladeshis , nepalese , indonesians but dont worry..all nice & friendly. Feels safe here. We went to Tanjung Park and noted the town was clean. Had a good time at Asam Pedas JJ Jln Joned, and Muar's famous Satay, Mee Rebus & Lontong..a must try. Other than the tricky basement parking, this Hotel is ok to me. Will return.

faith2626 (10/5): Friendly staff, good security but beware of steep parking slope - For a small town hotel, this place exceeds my expectations. Staff very friendly and was surprised that they invest alot in the security for guests which is very assuring. Guests have to use the room card for access to the rooms (except if your lift is on the 1st floor) but as the hotel lobby is on the 1st floor, security is not compromised as there is someone manning the lobby (came back at 12.30am and there is someone there) Had to park along the street as car park slope is very steep. Excellent Good location-near food street Tight security Friendly staff Hot/Cold Water dispenser on every floor lobby Clean, Spacious rooms Elevators on every floor Take note Aircon not so cold Basic Hotel amenities- can get hairdryer from reception, no conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste.
